wait dare...i'm a little confused...

so if i say Kobe and then say his stats for game 1...

then i can never say Kobe again?

and what happens if every player plays eventually...and we run out of players by the finals?

i think i would like an example before i post.....i'll probably just wait to see what Thierry • posts first

Here is an example

Western Conference:
LAL vs OKC
Game 1:Kobe Bryant
Game 2:Kevin Durant
Game 3:Pau Gasol
Game 4:Jeff Green
Game 5:Player (If necessary)
Game 6:Player (If necessary)
Game 7:Player (If necessary)

UTA vs NOH
Game 1:Chris Paul
Game 2:David West
Game 3:Emeka Okafor
Game 4:Marcus Thornton
Game 5:Player (If necessary)
Game 6:Player (If necessary)
Game 7:Player (If necessary)

Let say that OKC advance in the second round and will be match against the Jazz
UTA vs OKC
Game 1:Kevin Durant
Game 2:Jeff Green
Game 3:Allen Iverson
Game 4:Al Jefferson
Game 5:Player (If necessary)
Game 6:Player (If necessary)
Game 7:Player (If necessary)

You can only choose one player in the entire playoffs per match up. Automatically Kevin Durant and Jeff Green performance will be voided because those two has been chose in first round. Now Iverson and Jefferson is available because they have not been choose yet but in the following games they cannot be choose.

I hope its clear or I might just cancel this one.

So, I have one doubt. Let's say I pick Kobe for one game, then I can't use him for the rest of playoffs? If that's the case, you should post the entire roster for the teams, because I have at least 16 games to predict. Am I right? It's confusing. :?

Yes you can only choose the player once in the entire playoffs. I post some players in the preview and besides the teams rosters are like in real life. I tried this before in the real contest in NBA.com and the good players are enough to fill the whole playoffs.

dare, i think i get it now....it seems hard...

i dont think u should cancel it...maybe modify it a little? like make just make the player only used once per series? instead of the entire playoffs?

...also what happens to the "game if necessary" games?

Some times teams sweep other teams, and 5. 6. and 7. game is not needed. ;)

Well I don't think its hard at all you just to plan carefully the players your going to used, I don't want to give any tips as I have played this kind of game before. I can just say that planning is the key.

If you choose a player in game 5 but the series ended in only 4 games you can choose that player again, that simple

ohhh i looked it over again...

see my thinking was that we had to predict the entire playoffs...but so far this contest is just per round right?

cuz i thought...how would i know if a game 5, 6, or 7 was going to happen and that would depend on my 2nd round selecting

anyways...i'll give it a try and post soon

I didn't pick some players (like Kobe, CP3, Tony Parker) for coming rounds. Or are we predicting round per round?

Thierry •, As of now were playing the first round only, its okay that you didn't pick them you can pick them in second round assuming that they advance.

I forgot to mention that you can edit your picks as long as the game hasn't played yet.

It wasn’t even close, the Los Angeles Lakers showed why they are the defending champs sending a message in this game 1 victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kobe Bryant led his team with 30 points in 13-19 shooting he also got 5 dimes. Bryant scored 22 points in the first half as the Lakers down the Thunder 48-32.

“It’s great to win a game like this especially in the playoffs. This really set the tone for us.” Bryant said. He is not the only who had a good shooting night. Lamar Odom had 15 points in only ten attempts. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum played 25 minutes only due to foul troubles but both of them scored 13 points and missing only one shot. Overall the Lakers shot 65% compared to the Thunder who only shot 40%.

Kevin Durant led his team with 28 points in 10-22 shooting while Russell Westbrook had 12 points and 9 assists. Only those two players scored double digits for their team, James Harden had 9 points and Jeff Green only had 6 points.

and also note if a key player gets injured in the game

that way we can make changes if we need to before the next game happens

This is going to be easy

Ron Artest proclaims that this will be an easy series for them, he said in a post game interview.
“They are not on are level, last years performance was just a fluke. They are still not ready.” Artest said.

Kevin Durant was quick to react on Artest’s comments. “I will personally show him how ready I’am.”

Arenas, Richardson Out

Orlando Magic guards Gilbert Arenas and Jason Richardson will be out for at least 4 weeks. Arenas will be out due to sprained knee while Richardson suffered a broken jaw.

It is expected that Jameer Nelson will start for his team while recently injured Brandon Bass will play on game 2.

Denver losses two key players

Denver Nuggets will be playing the first round without the service of Kenyon Martin and J.R Smith. Martin will be out 2-4 weeks due to sprained knee while Smith will be out for 8 weeks because of a torn harmstring.

Garnett: “It hurts not to play.”

Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics has suffered a broken foot and will be likely out for 4 weeks. “I’m okay, I just need to be patient and trust my teammates. It hurts more to sit here watching them play without me.”

Vujacic to start in game two

Without Anthony Morrow Sasha Vujacic is expecting to start in game 2. “I’m ready. I know my role in this team.” Travis Outlaw is questionable in game 2 due to sore foot.
