"BOHICA", accronim for "Bend Over, Here It Comes Again"!!! Why can't we PC owners ever get it through our thick skulls that EA Sports just dosen't care about us anymore? Well, with the release of NBA Live 2003, it's now evident. With two whole years to come up with a complete masterpiece of a game, they now shove this pile of dung in our face and insult us "true" sports simulation fans with this juvenile, arcade version of "basketball on ice". A previous post discribes this crap as "unplayable", and I couldn't agree more. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but the more I played it, the more pissed I got. Finally, I had to uninstall it all together. Unfortunately, I purchased it from Wal-Mart so I cannot return it. I gather it will now collect dust along with NHL 2003 (another beaut by EA Sports!). Along with this site, I'm also involved with fans of Madden football for the PC. I truly believe that the success of Madden 2003 is a direct reflection of pressure put on EA Sports by the fans of Madden football, who were upset with them over the lack of concern for their gamming needs in the past years. Until we NBA Live fans do the same (either by mail, e-mail, etc.), we can expect the same garbage year after year. But what do we care, I know all of us can afford to up-chuck $40 just to say that we now have updated rosters..right?
