Knicks/Mavs Game Notes

The Good - Both Amare and Melo had 20+ points and 10+ rebounds.

The Bad - The Knicks could play a lick of defence until the 4th quarter.

The Ugly - Toney Douglas hit the ground hard forcing him to leave the game.

Sub of the Game - J.J Barea scored 12 points for the Mavs 3-3 from downtown.

Toney Douglas came off a screen early in the 4th quarter to nail shoot but fell awkwardly as Jason Kidd tried to get out of his way , T.D looked in a lot of pain as he lay there on the court but was able to make his way back to the locker room under his own steam.

T.D is averaging 8 points and 3 assists off the knicks bench this season and his spot on the roster will be taken by rookie Andy Rautins , a fan favourite in NY.

The Good - Melo has been great on the boards with 29 rebounds in his last 2 games.

The Bad - Knicks shot just 39% from the field under constant Sixers pressure.

The Ugly - Sixers got 41 points off there bench compared to the knicks 22.

Sub of the Game - Roger Mason jr scored all 8 of his points in the 4th hitting two clutch free throws in the last minute

Amare was huge while Melo was quite for the most part of the game but made plays down the stretch, Shawne Williams was HUGE.
