Kobe knows he is the franchise, maybe someone else is the future of the lakers, but he is the leader, and he is the man now. Lebron, if he idolizes MJ so much, should have known that MJ stuck it out with his franchise, because he is the main man. Lebron seriously damaged his legacy by blowing off the cavs.
I might be ranting right now, mostly because I'm drunk again. But a real hero doesn't quit. Bad knee, broken finger nothing. Well, actually, poor shooting night nothing as well. Kobe is king of the Lakers. Some of the younger ones in this forum might not realize this, but it really takes a real man to keep on gunning even if the cards aren't going their way. Lebron talented as he maybe be right now, still needs some growing up to do. Right now, of the current stars in the game, i'd say the celtics big 3, kobe, td, dirk diggler are all better than lbj. For all we know, lbj could blow a knee tomorrow, and he'd be nothing more than one of the most hyped prep to pro.

But riddle me this, only one of the seven has shot over 50%, rebounded over 15%, an ORtg over 100, a PER over 10 and WS/48 over .80. JOEL ANTHONY Pryzbilla.
I also offer this. Only one of these players derailed a championship contender and permanently killed the careers (and lives) of two All-Star players!

There's only seven of them:
Jason Collins (2002-current)
Manute Bol (1986-1995)
Joel Przybilla (2001-current)
Paul Mokeski (1980-1991)
DeSagana Diop (2002-current)
Francisco Elson (2004-current)
Jim McIlvaine (1995-2001)
LET THE ULTIMATE DEBATE COMMENCE!

Kobe's rings: 5
LeBron's rings: 0

ALL HAIL LUKE WALTON
