Well yeah, but I thought I would get a 4th to 7th seed, never thought of a 1st or 2nd. So I'm proud of this team
Martti. wrote:It will be interesting which team will get more W's - you or the HEAT.
Yep only game behind of Miami for the best record of the league, hopefully they get a couple of setbacks so I can get homecourt advantage.

Best game possible to clinch a seed.

Thanks Hov, I'm still getting used to the shot releases of a lot of players.
Coming up next... a new Prospects update; the last NCAA recap (Martti @ Axel.) before March Madness; also a mini-update of Gist and Cousin's adventures in the D-League; and then we fly to Dallas to fight the Mavs.

Gomez makes big impact for Texas in win over Yellow Jackets, overcome Brown's forgettable night Preview | Recap | Game Info | Full Play-by-Play | Boxscores (Georgia Tech :: Texas)
TEXAS, March 16 -- The presence of Axel Gomez proved to be a big difference for the Texas Longhorns. The former NLSC Academy member scored 16 points as his team surrendered a 10-point lead before playing some hard-nose defense for a last-minute 62-59 triumph over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Sidelined last week with a twisted ankle, Gomez returned and made his presence felt right from the start, scoring eight of Texas' first 12 points. “I've been telling everybody that I'm going to come back better than I was before the injury,” Gomez said. “My absence helped me figure out a lot of things to help this team.” The Longhorns, winners of four of their last five matches, were leading 45-35 but Georgia Tech bounced back later in the half with a 8-0 spurt in which Iman Shumpert and Zach Peacock scored four points each, to tie the contest at 53 with 2:48 left in the game. Shumpert buried a 3-pointer to give the Yellow Jackets their first lead since the first quarter at 57-55, but Gary Johnson -- 14 points, 13 rebounds -- made two straight layups for a 59-57 lead.
After Mfon Udofia missed a potential tying jumper for Georgia Tech, Gomez then made a layup and was fouled by Peacock for the old-school 3-point play and a 62-57 lead. Brian Oliver -- 7 points -- added a consolation fadeaway shot. “With some guys, it may take three or four nights to get your swagger back. Not with Axel,” teammate Clint Chapman said. “He picked up right where he left off.” Chapman posted a double-double for Texas with 11 points and 11 boards. Shumpert led Georgia Tech with 20 points, five boards and five assists, while Peacock and Brad Sheehan posted 12 points apiece. “They did a great job of keeping their poise and coming right back at us,” said Martti Must, who only scored 6 points but a team-high 11 rebounds, four of them on offense. “They came right back at us and they put the pressure on us.” Gomez, former teammate of Must in the NLSC Academy, also had three rebounds and three assists and was 6-of-11 from the field; while his current teammate, J'Covan Brown, didn't make any statements after the game: 2-of-18 from the floor for 7 points... no surprise. Both teams already clinched a Sweet Sixteen spot, and if the bracket doesn't change by the end of the season (with 10 days left), they look on poise to clash for the Elite Eight.
I am really familiar with twisted ankles irl, no surprise to see my player is familiar with them too. A nice win for my team, but that Brown guy is a true chucker.
My PC won't open any programs and I'm getting BSODs almost every hour, so I'm leaving this on hiatus for a couple of days until my dad can fix all this stuff (as some of you may know, he has diplomas for all this things).
I know what you all are gonna say I might have to format the C disk, but don't worry, I make backups of the association save files after every game, so I just gotta install everything again and then I will come back here.

You guys had the 1st seed in the "East". Get ready for the Sweet 16

Already fixed guys, my dad is a genius He ran some tests on my PC and found out my RAM memory was screwing my whole computer, so now I have 2GB RAM instead of 4GB, until I can get a new RAM chip (I have warranty for it for life, so all good).
Later -- How's Austin? James Gist and Marcus Cousin are leading the Toros to the best record in the D-League. Special Report!

Thanks for the advice man. And yes, my dad has one of those air compressors that cleans all the dust inside the case, but it still give me BSODs and the programs would close randomly. He ran a memory test program and found errors when testing. Now everything works good.

15 games left and two more seasons.

I did throw some shitty excuses back in the past in other threads Why would I do that now? It's going great.

Always impressed to see personality injected into the players , especially at the D-League level. It really adds to your story and will start to emulate it in All For One.
Cousin has some nice stats. I put all my D-leaguers to the age of 45 and hope that they retire after the season so that the FAs join the D-league, but you do a good job of adding some generic players via D-league
