Even better one
Juwan Howard thinks Derrick Rose is MVP, not LeBron"I'm not even being politically correct, normally guys say I'm giving it to LeBron, but honestly I'll give it to [Derrick Rose(notes)]," Howard said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "If he stays on this pace that he's on right now, he's got my vote if I was part of the committee."
He definitely knows what he's talkin about

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... _In_DudleyWell,i'm not that sure about Dudley abilities, but anyways... Maybe moving Brewer to a starter?
Fri Feb 25, 2011 1:37 am
I am a definite no thanks to Dudley...unless we are trading just Keith Bogans for him...moving Brewer to the starting lineup would be the better option out of the two
Fri Feb 25, 2011 4:03 am
I think Dudley could be one of the most underrated players in the league.
How would a lineup like this sound?
PG Rose
SG Dudley
SF Deng
PF Boozer
C Noah
Looks like an awesome lineup to me!

I would prefer Courtney Lee there.
There has been offered a Bogans-Asik for Lee-Miller deal with the Rockets, but i don't think the Rockets will agree.
It will be a great trade though
Fri Feb 25, 2011 4:24 am
Don't trade Asik!
Fri Feb 25, 2011 5:26 am
I would rather have Mr. Asik-herder and his staff than Mr. Miller-lite who is becoming flat.

FUCKIN FUCK YEAH!!! Awesome win against the cHeat! Set up by a fantastic second half from Luol Deng and terrific performances off the bench from Brewer and Asik. Very glad they didnt trade either of those guys yesterday. It was an unspectacular game from Rose, but he came up huge when it counted most.
On a less positive note, I was probably the most supportive forum member of Thibs' continuing to start Bogans as long as the team was winning.
I'm not any more.
He is just completely and utterly exposed against faster teams. Chances are the Bulls' road to the conference finals will have to go through New York and Miami, and they are just going to slaughter the Bulls while Bogans is on the court. Give Brewer the start. Do it now. Give them a chance to mesh before the playoffs start.
So yes, I was wrong. I was very wrong.
The two most satisfying aspects of the win: RuPaul getting "hit" on the face, and also shooting 1-18.

I've grumbled about Deng's crunch time performances in the past but he had it going tonight, huge three to put them ahead for good. First half was a bit sloppy and they kind of lost their footing after Gibson made a few errors in the fourth but great win. As far as trades are concerned, it's a shame they couldn't turn that first round pick into anything at the deadline but I'd have to say they might the right call holding onto Asik, I think they'll be able to finish the year strong, make some noise in the Playoffs and then assess their options in the offseason.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts! This win totally made my day

c'mon bosh...

bosh = soft. I really could not understand why toronto every thought of using Bosh at center early in his career.
Fri Feb 25, 2011 11:45 pm
Oh yeah!That's it!!!
A really really great win from the Bulls!! D-Rose might not had a huge game in terms of number, but his last minutes' performance was just amazing! I think that Deng is having one of his best seasons in his career. Not in terms of scoring, but in terms of being valuable to the team, either by taking a clutch shot ,or playing D,Deng helps the team in a better way than other year. And he's way more physical on his game at last!

Lack of options, I guess.

Another win over the Bucks to remain undefeated in a subpar Central Division, win number 40 on the season. One more and they've equalled their win total from the past two seasons; should hopefully come in the next one against Washington.

They certainly get the job done against the Wizards, with Rose and Noah providing us with this:
Seems they're picking up Rasual Butler off waivers as well. Worth a shot for half a season and the Playoffs, he's a decent three point shooter and he's 6'7".
Wed Mar 02, 2011 3:56 am
Deng's 3pter vs heat qualifies as a game winner so ill be streaking once it gets a little warmer here....
I hope they get butler. They need another big guard plus the 3pt shooting. I'd like to see what happens with bogans pt... as well as the whole rotation. The bench has been picking it up the last few games and it seems like thibbs has his rotations down.
Wed Mar 02, 2011 10:07 am
Nothing official as yet. Even if it happens, I'm wondering if there's anything that could actually displace Bogans from the starting five at this point.
Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:46 pm
I'd rather Azubuike. He's younger, can hit the outside shot as well as get to the rim, and would work better with the team. Rasual Butler doesn't provide anything that the team doesnt already have.
Wed Mar 02, 2011 9:09 pm
I like what Azubuike brings to the table. He's a bit shorter than Butler but he does knock down threes at a much better clip. His health is a concern though, I'm wondering whether the Knicks know something we don't or whether letting him go was just a boneheaded move on their part; he says he's ready to go, but maybe he's not. He hasn't played since November 2009, so suffice to say that was one bad knee injury.
Thu Mar 03, 2011 12:04 pm
can he even play? he did have a season ending injury and he has yet to play a game?! i like AZu's skills but i don't think for a team trying to nab the #2 seed should be going after injured players
i'll take Butler who's healthy and has playoff experience
Thu Mar 03, 2011 12:35 pm
That's right, he's been out since November 2009.
Very disappointing loss to the Hawks, blowing a seventeen point lead at the half. I didn't catch the game but looking at the boxscores and following along with the play-by-play for a bit, it looks like they had an ugly, ugly second half. Tough one coming up at Orlando, Howard's going to tear it up but if the rest of the Magic don't get it going and the Bulls can put up more than 30 points in the second half, they're in with a shot.

sloppy game throughout. horford just blasted them. the dude was just hitting shots from all over the perimeter then finally starting driving to the basket in the 4th
i dont know how korver air balled that last 3

Bulls celebrate 20th anniversary of first NBA titleFirst video is a retrospective of them finally overcoming the Bad Boy Pistons. Worth watching to the end to see Krause dancing, it should at least raise a smile or a chuckle.
