Don't worry, all NLSCers are in the 20s (late first round).

The LOLcats? Well, I guess my hard-nosed defense is perfect for Larry Brown's system, as stated in the article. I just hope he doesn't do to me what he did to Darko. :x

As for the article, I like it. (Y) All players had a concise description, but I think you shouldn't have overworked yourself on it. :P

Re: North Carolina Domination - Meet Corey Harrington

Meet Corey Harrington

Corey Harrington, 19, isn't your typical NBA rookie. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he traveled the country with his family for a few years, from Utah, to Texas, to Florida, to New York, before settling less than 20 miles from his future college, Stanford. He was only introduced to basketball there, at the age of ten. By 13, he was playing in front of players who played for Stanford, who were thrilled to see young talent like him. He trained all through high school to play at the best of his ability during his year at Stanford, where he was nicknamed "The Core" before deciding to sign up for the 2011 NBA Draft.

At Stanford, Harrington played point guard, causing huge mismatches with his small forward-sized body and athleticism. Blowing past opponents, he would rack up nearly 30 points a game for Stanford before succumbing to an ankle sprain. His highlight moment came against the Connecticut Huskies, when he crossed up soon-to-be-fellow-first-rounder Grant Wheat and dunked from the free-throw line sending the crowd into an uproar. Also carrying extreme ball-handling skills, great court vision, and very tenacious defense,Harrington will be a force to be reckoned with from the beginning.

With the Domination, Harrington is likely to be the starting point guard. He will wear the number 3, and looks to lead the team that has very high hopes for a year-old expansion team.

STRENGTHS: Dunking, speed, jumping, athleticism, defense, close-range shooting, stealing, rebounding, size.
WEAKNESSES: Outside shooting, occasional attitude problems, free-throws, injuries, fatigue, turnovers.

OVERALL: The Domination just picked the best guy available. They should have picked a big man, but the first big man drafted was drafted at #10 and is definitely not as skilled as Harrington. With a shallow draft for big men, the Domination will likely turn to free agency for centers and forwards. As a big-scoring guard, Harrington was the right man to pick.

Domination Sign Two Guys Named Chandler

Former Knicks forward Wilson Chandler and Dallas center Tyson Chandler both agreed to multi-year contracts in a huge effort to bolster the Domination front-court.

Tyson Chandler had another breakout season with Dallas and was named to the All-NBA Third Team and inked a 3-year, $30M contract, while the disgruntled New York forward took a 2-year, $15M contract.

Brandan Wright Re-Signs

NCD GM Zee Otoo annouced that he re-signed forward Brandan Wright to a two-year, $3.5M contract, "Wright didn't do as much as expected in his first season with the Domination, but we saw glimpses of brilliance out of him and hope he can continue to improve."

Multi-Team Trade Sends Antawn Jamison to MIL, Pete Williams to NCD, Grant Wheat to BOS

On August 4, a complex multi-team trade concerning the Domination went through. Darrell Caswell, a guard picked 39th by the Domination was traded to Oklahoma City along with a disgruntled Serge Ibaka for the 28th pick of the draft, forward Pete Williams, acquired from Boston, who received Milwaukee's Grant Wheat. Oklahoma City also traded center Nikola Pekovic for still-injured guard Kyle Lowry, who will soon undergo surgery. He could miss part of the season. Oklahoma City sent Brad Miller to Detroit, who sent Antawn Jamison to Milwaukee. Milwaukee and Detroit swapped second rounders Ward and Davies, both of whom were waived. At the end of the deal, the Domination gave up a pissed-off Serge Ibaka, unknown second-rounder Darrell Caswell, and the injured and expendable Kyle Lowry, for a decent center in Nikola Pekovic and diamond-in-the-rough late-first-rounder Pete Williams.

Did the Domination give up too much? Maybe, but maybe not. Serge Ibaka is back in Oklahoma City after playing through slumps in Cleveland and North Carolina in the last eight months. Kyle Lowry was injured and has two young point guards (or three) playing in front of him. Darrell Caswell is expendable as the Domination are rather stacked at the guard positions. Pekovic is a decent center and could play some minutes behind Tyson Chandler and DeJuan Blair. Pete Williams has a lot of potential as a scorer and could definitely be a big force as early as the regular season.

6 Players Signed To Un-Guaranteed Contracts

-DARRELL CASWELL- After being traded to the Thunder, Caswell was waived. Wanting to play for an NBA team, the guard immediately approached the Domination hoping to play and contend for a spot on the team. Caswell, 6'0, plays an uptempo game, and shoots a lot. He is also a good jumper, throwing it down occasionally. Out of anybody on this list, he is the most likely to make the final roster.
-BILLY THOMAS- He last played for Cleveland, and he contributed to the team quite well for a fourth-string shooting guard or third-string small forward. He averaged 6 points a game and 3 rebounds a game, playing ten minutes a game behind Anthony Parker, Tracy McGrady, Daniel Green, Jamario Moon, and Jason Kapono. If he doesn't make the final cut for the Domination, chances are he'll return to the Cavs.
-COTHRAN WALKER- He's been signed and waived by the Lakers twice this offseason, after being drafted late in the first round by them. A good shooter, he is also quite good at blocking shots for a 6'6 guard. His inconsistency is the only thing keeping him from being a solid contributor.
-JOE SMITH- The Domination could definitely use some veteran presence on the team, but Joe Smith might be done. He's been rotting on the reserve all last season, and probably won't make the cut even for this team, particularly due to his regression in the last few months. His season-highs last season were 4 points and 3 rebounds and he's played 12 games, totaling 14 points and 5 rebounds in 104 minutes. Yeah, he's basically done.
-IVO YOUNG- An undrafted rookie, Young has a lot to prove. He can dunk well and his devotion to the game is unparalleled. He would need serious work just to crack the rotation on any NBA team, but when he does, he could be a decent forward. At 6'9, he can play both forward positions, while occasionally playing center. He could make the team as a project, but it's highly unlikely that he'd even start for a D-League bottom-dweller at this point.
-JACKIE BUTLER- A 6'10 center, Butler was an undrafted rookie seven years ago. He hasn't played in the NBA since 2007 and wants to resurrect his career (basically 69 games with the Knicks and Spurs). A decent rebounder and a good scorer, his defense is atrocious and has been the main reason his career has never taken off. Butler hopes his big break is here. NCD GM Zee Otoo says it's possible.

lol, I said that too. Rashad McCants is also pretty solid in this right now. He's Monta Ellis's main backup for Dallas. Ellis is injured and may not be ready for the season yet. Which means McCants may start. His rating is only two lower than that of Jared Dudley - last year's MIP. (Y) DAL is the team to beat. I think they got robbed by MIA in the finals. 4-3

At first glance, this looks really stupid for Golden State and awesome for Dallas. Ellis combined with Stephen Curry for over 50 points per game this season, forming one of the best tandems in the game. But Golden State is rebuilding, they have a size issue and needed a center. Getting Haywood and Terry for the high-powered scorer might actually turn out to be a great deal. Dallas probably now has the best roster in the league. Including Miami's. It will be discussed in a little bit.
GSW: B | DAL: A

It happened last season. Ellis played 9 games with them and averaged 27ppg and 4apg after averaging about 30 with GSW. Even though I stole Tyson Chandler, they signed Marc, (much cheaper) and they still have a crazy starting lineup: Paul (90), Ellis (89), Marion (82), Nowitzki (91), Gasol (80). Check out that Big 3! (ratings aren't all that accurate)

Well, Jason Kidd left, so did Tyson Chandler and Andrei Kirilenko (he was traded to DAL for Caron). They signed Marc Gasol pretty cheap and re-signed rising star Rashad McCants cheap(ish). They offloaded Haywood's and Terry's contracts for Ellis's too
