although im tired i played one quarter clips(me) vs bucks. my biggest issue is the cpu's fg%. yeah i played real good d but only 4/18 hmmm... i will test it on allstar or play clips(me) vs celtics. im a more experienced 2k player so maybe i have to move the level of difficulty a little bit higher..... maybe.....

I'll try it too...Hope you can keep the association stats realistic and gameplay good and realistic too :D .Because i tried some rosters and sliders that gave me very good gameplay but stats in association were not so realistic. For example, only three teams scoring more than 100 points, some players scoring much less than in real life....I hope you understand..

Juza, I just finished the first half of a 12 minute quarter game with the 76ers vs the Bucks. Firstly, I thought the defense from the CPU was almost non-existent, as I was able to get 25 pts with Iggy with ease (i.e. running him off screens). I primarily ran the offense using the wing players, I was rarely in the post, but when I did play in the post, the post defense was not great either. The few times I got Elton Brand in the post, he either got fouled or hit the difficult mid-range turnaround. On defense, it was really easy to defend. I think because the game is played at Pro, it was quite easy for me to get up on shooters, I blocked two jumpers, but I also fouled Delfino on a three point attempt. John Salmons was the guy that got the most touches, he was the only guy that gave me some trouble. Although during the second quarter, he got injured and never got back into the game. Bogut only had four shot attempts so far, with only two points. Here is the screenshots of the box score, and the team stats.

Before this game, I've played a couple of short 3 minute quarter games as well, Clippers vs. Lakers (CPU), and Bulls vs. Hawks(CPU). I won both games, the Clippers Lakers game by 7 points or so, and the Bulls game by 5 points. I think the biggest thing right now is CPU defense. Thanks Juza for this patch, I know you have put in a lot of time and effort, I hope you could fix things up and make the game really realistic and enjoyable.
Edit: Here are some final stats from the game. Another thing I noticed is that the CPU always jump on my pump fakes, on a few occasions, I had a clear path to the bucket for the dunk.

just to give you some tips buddies...choose any set of sliders that really fit your skills, i'm really a casual player and the sliders i provided maybe will be too easy for someone else. My main goal is to change drastically any single tendencies for each player for the current 2011 nba roster following sharp and methodic math formulas using hoopdata as a base off to get the best out of it.it's up to you to find the magical formula that makes this game really enjoyable.

i don't care about anything else but tendencies. hope this concept will be clear once my roster will be definitely edited.

sorry mate, but i found a little mistake...the settings included were wrong. Raise the difficulty level to all star...the sliders provided was created to be played on that level. Sorry for that,my bad ( armor and sword post patch sliders from operation sports).

i played one game yesterday on all star, first impression was very good. i clearly see the new tendencies, played with heat against bulls and had a lot of respect for rose blowing by me becuase i had to, thats what makes the diffrence for realism.
i've experienced some very realistic animations and jump hights and you've done a wunderfull job on balancing the contact sliders with a value of 100, respect for that. first time since months i've experienced that i had "only" 6 blocks myself and i liked it. only change to your sliders i did was putting the awereness for defense and offense each on 100.

boozer and gibson somehow took each one 3pointer and i dont know why.

my only question is how to fix the offensive rebounding. i tried def.reb. on 40 and off. on 100 for cpu and user. cpu finally grabbed some on the offensive end and the bulls are top3 in rebounding so there has to be an adjustment.
user is always hard to adjust, everyone for himself in this regard. it's depends very much on your timing aswell when you take shots (there has to be some one to grab those off. rebounds). i'm really curios if this can be corrected until we have an average of 11 off. rebounds.

juza you made cleary a big step forwards and i appreciate your work on tendencies, coach profiles and that you tried something new with the sliders. i'll continue to test this beta and try to give feedback as much as time and energy allows me ;)

keep it up

t hanks onyx really appreciate. really weird the fact how boozer shoots from the great beyond..maybe a shot clock violation LOL..need to check it. coach profiles are driving me insane as any little adjustment drastically changes the way the team plays.Next step will include some minor tweaks to the team profiles and few team added like SPURS, NUGGETS, KNICKS,WARRIORS and SUNS. offensive boards never represents to me a great gripe.

new updated roster will hit the ground within friday.

the overall teamstats are getting pretty close to the averages of the real nba. offensive rebounds is important because it also defines the playingstyle and lets say "feeling" of a team or opponent, creates open 3point shots, PIP and fouls ;)

PS don't forget the big nuggets and knicks trade :D

thx

I played a game with Miami vs Knicks (without Melo in your roster) the game was exciting and I won 110 to 106(superstar level). First note is that Felton didn't take a three point attempt even with an open look . I found it hard to put many points in the paint so I tried mid range and threes till they closed them so the paint was open.I didn't like the Heat playbook as James -in reality-runs most of the offense and he has no play set to him to be in the post. Also the Knicks missed a lot of of free throws (10-17) which I found useful to me :D .I think your roster mainly made defense much better and the game was fun and more realistic but you need to recheck some players' tendencies.Your new roster should be the best
Thanks and good work overall (Y) .
Waiting for the new roster with the new shocking trades.

Another thing I noticed is good dribbling players loosing the ball inside on body contact which I think the official patch corrected . Strange for me though.

just re-rating:

- some playbooks and shot tendencies to match them with asos stats
- off / def rbs for asos stats using the following math formula applied on my excel spreesheet database:

OFFENSIVE REBOUND RATE= 100x(player off rbs(team min/5)/(player minsx(team off rbs+opponent def rbs)
the same for DEFENSIVE REBOUND RATE ..just editing everything and give you feedbacks about stats results).

- fixing coach profiles

roster is almost completed with the last trades included.the hard work is to re-rate once again the "touches" and shot tendencies plus coach profiles accordingly to the new updated rosters. version 3.0 will be spot on for sure.
