THE FACTS: Kobe Bryant had an amazing game with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals to led the LA Lakers to a narrow win against the Orlando Magic 95-93.
Dwight Howard led his team with 23 points, 13 boards and 5 blocks. J.J Redick had 20 points in his first start of the season for the injured Jason Richardson. Hedo Turkoglu had 16 points and Gilbert Arenas added 13 points.
TURNING POINT: The Lakers are down by 6 points with less than 2 minutes in the fourth quarter, the Magic went on scoreless beyond that point while the Lakers scored 6 straight points to tie the game at 93. With 8 seconds left the Lakers had the final possession and Bryant nailed the buzzer beater to win the game.
HOT: Redick scored 15 points in the first half, although he only finished the game with 20 points. He shot 8-11 from the field hitting 3-5 beyond the arc.
NOT: The Lakers big man had a bad night Andrew Bynum got quick two fouls early in the first quarter and the same happened to Gasol. The two of them only combined for 24 points and 9 rebounds.

TRADE DEADLINE ACQUISITIONSCarmelo Trade Formally Complete
Carmelo Anthony is officially going to New Jersey.
The Nets traded Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy and 2 first round picks to the Denver Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups. It is said that winning is a huge part for Anthony and the Nets are currently in the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.
The New York Knicks can't counter a deal because of the injury of Danillo Gallinari and Anthony Randolph.Knicks acquired Williams
Maybe the Knicks has this as a backup plan. Out of nowhere they acquired All-Star Deron Williams from the Utah Jazz.
They gave Raymond Felton, Eddy Curry, Kelena Azubuike and 2 first round picks.Gerald Wallace Traded To Blazers
Charlotte's Gerald Wallace has been traded to Portland, according to sources.
The Blazers had strongly been coveting an upgrade at the deadline.

The Clippers and Cavaliers have officially executed their Baron Davis for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon trade.

The Rockets have traded Aaron Brooks to the Suns for Goran Dragic and a first round pick.

The Atlanta Hawks tonight acquired guard Kirk Hinrich and center/forward Hilton Armstrong from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and Atlanta's 2011 first round draft pick.
“We felt we had a good opportunity to improve our ballclub by adding Kirk and Hilton,” Sund said.
“Kirk is a well-rounded player that gives us options at both guard positions. In addition to being a solid and hard-nosed defender, he is a good shooter who can also distribute the ball. His resume includes significant playoff experience as well. Hilton can play both center and power forward, and will add frontcourt depth.”
