JASON WILLIAMS UNHAPPY IN ORLANDO
Backup PG, Jason Williams, of the Orlando Magic has been very upset with Otis Smith and the team for what his role has become. Last season Williams was an important part of the rotation at backup point guard, now since the signing of Chris Duhon and the acquisition of Gilbert Arenas, he has found himself completely out of the rotation and even had some DNP - coach's decisions.
Williams was suspended by the team for not showing up to practices without any reason, which forced the Magic to cut the veteran point guard.
The Memphis Grizzlies are however are interested in Williams and are expected to sign him for the rest of the season.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES FIRE HEAD COACH LIONEL HOLLINS
The Memphis Grizzlies Fired Head Coach Lionel Hollins a few days ago and replaced him with a new head coach, Jordan Wager.
The Grizzlies have recently lost 3 in a row after consecutively beating the red hot Atlanta Hawks, snapping their 11 game win streak and then defeating the Miami Heat in their next game.
Trouble started early as they opened the season 0-6. Since that terrible start the Grizzlies have been up and down and have not shown any consistency.
The new Head Coach Jordan Wager, enjoyed his first NBA win against the NJ Nets on the first day he was hired, today he will face off against the red hot Los Angeles Clippers who are on a 9 game win streaks. To make things more difficult, the Clippers just defeated the Boston Celtics to tie a LA franchise record for largest home win streak. Wager better be ready because the Clippers are looking to set a new record tonight against the rookie coach.

CLIPPERS REJECT A PAIR OF OFFERS
The Clippers did peruse guard Ramon Session very heavily this offseason, but as a back up for Baron Davis, not his replacement. Also Eric Bledsoe has shown real promise as a backup PG. Regardless of Baron's large contract size, the Clippers are not even considering trading away the Leagues assist leader. Who's going to be passing to Blake?
A trade of former number 1 over all picks, the only problem: One is a superstar in the making, the other has barely even played in the NBA. No deal for Blake Griffin, end of story.

THE FACTS: The Grizzlies have been a team at the bottom this season, but with a new head coach they have found new life. Randy Foye returns in this game after missing 3 weeks. For the first time in many games the Clippers found themselves trailing after the 1Q and as much as 15 points. The Grizzlies did it with hot 3PT shooting, forcing turnovers, and drawing fouls. The Clippers would make a comeback in the 2Q to be behind by only 7 points at the break. The Clippers would finally take the lead after the 3Q, behind Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon. Blake score 14 points in the 3Q without missing a shot. Baron, DeAndre, and Chandler, as well as Gasol and Randolph for the Grizziles got their 4th fouls in the 3Q. Baron Davis came alive in the 4Q scoring 8 straight after having 0 in the first 3 quarters. His run would allow the Clippers to lead by as many as 20 points. OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay tired to get close in the final minute, scoring 4 straight 3 PTs, and trimmed the lead to 12, but were not able to get back into the game
THE STAT: Blake Griffin, almost perfect. 14-15 FG with 7-7 FT
QUOTABLE: Randy Foye on his game back, "It feels good to be back on the court, to play with the team again. And you can tell they need me especially when Baron is in foul trouble."
HOT: Blake Griffin missed only 1 shot the entire game, including from the free throw line to score a game high 35 points
Hot Honorable Mention: Baron Davis was 0-6 in the first 3 Q with only 3 assists and 4 fouls. In the 1Q he scored 10 points and 8 assists to finish with a double-double (10 points 11 assists)
NOT: After a decent 1st half, the Grizzlies were ice cold in the 2nd half scoring only 49 points (compared to 65 in the 1st) on 33% shooting (compared to 47% in the 1st)
GOOD MOVE: In the final seconds of the 2Q, the Clippers made a run to cut the lead to 10. Eric Gordon drove baseline and threw down a 1-handed tomahawk jam and drew a foul. After hitting his free throw the Clippers were withing 7 at halftime
BAD MOVE: On a mismatch Blake Griffin was switched on Mike Conley, with the Grizzlies moving the ball, Marc Gasol was open at the perimeter. Blake Griffin decided to help even though Gasol had no range there, Gasol passed to an open Conley, Blake decided to run back and ended up fouling Conley shooting a 3 Pointer. Luckily he missed the shot, but did go on to make all 3 free throws

THE FACTS: In the Clippers game before Christmas, the Clippers decided to wear their road red uniforms. The Clippers were shooting poorly, but were able to get to the line. On the other side, the Clippers play smart defense and committed only 8 fouls (compared to the Hornets 21 fouls)and only allowed the Hornets to go to the line 6 times, and none until 24 seconds left in the 3Q. The Clippers lead most of the way, but the Hornets kept close, trailing by double-digits only once and were able to get back within single-digits quickly. Blake Griffin scored 43 points, which includes the game-icing 2 free throws to push the lead to 7 in the final moments
THE STAT: Free Throw shooting, Hornets 6-6 vs. Clippers 19-37
Chris Paul shot the first free throw for the Hornets with only 24 seconds renaming in the 3Q on an and1 foul.
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin on the fight, "DJ and I were just looking for Eric, there is no reason why anyone should grab a player by the neck. That's just wrong"
HOT: Blake Griffin set a new career high and a new Clippers franchise rookie record with 43 Points in this game. The fans started chanting "MVP" as he was shooting free throws late in the 4Q.
Defensive Hot: DeAndre Jordan did not score much, but his defense was excellent with 7 block shots and only 1 foul.
NOT: Marcus Thronton scored only 10 points when he thought he had the green light going 4-14 (28%)
GOOD MOVE: DUNK OF THE NIGHT: Blake Griffin makes Aaron Gray another color, Pale White from fear!
BAD MOVE: With 3 minutes left in the 4Q Stanley Robinson put a headlock Eric Gordon as he was driving to the basket. Both DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin game to their teammates aid as did Trevor Ariza for his. The three exchanged words and each of them, including Robinson were charged with technical fouls. After reviewing the play the Refs decided that Robinson was to be ejected from the game. Since the technical fouls canceled out, Eric Gordon continued with this free throws, making both of them.
