PART II: AROUND THE NBA: TRADES, STANDINGS, AND MORE
The disgruntled Ron Artest was finally traded from Los Angeles to New York with Derrick Caracter for Shawne Williams and Ronny Turiaf.
As the Carmelo Anthony situation became more apparent that he would stay in Denver, the Knicks decided to get a player to help them with their playoff run. Artest has been known as a defensive player, a one that coach Mike D'Antoni likes.
"Ron can give us an element of defense we never had. He can shut down LeBron and Kobe."LEAGUE TRANSACTIONS

Agent420 wrote:Nice review man, very simple and to the point. How serious do you think the Lakers are about getting Carmelo Anthony? Kind of off topic I know, but anyways the only thing I didn't like was the colors. Some people like the different colors for every team, but I'm not a fan. I can't see what the Pacers record is. Good job though.
PART III: PLAYOFFS, RETIREMENTS, AND DRAFT LOTTERY
Dan Gilbert was wrong. The Heat killed Gilbert's promise, with a Game 7 win over the Lakers.
With 10 seconds to go and the Lakers up by two and 10 seconds left, LeBron James had the ball. He passed it to Eddie House who then took a shot fake and passed to an open Chris Bosh, who banked in a three to give the Heat their first championship with the Big 3.
"When I first shot it, I was like 'Crap. I just lost us the Finals.' But then it went in." said an ecstatic Bosh after the shot to give the Heat a 101-100 win.PLAYOFF RESULTS
Quick Recap: The Pacers provided the biggest shocker, by beating the Magic in Overtime in Orlando. However, the Heat were just too good, going 12-3 in the first 3 rounds. The Hornets upsetted the Mavericks like in 2008, dominating the Mavs in every category. We all got the Finals we wanted, LA vs Miami. Miami's Chris Bosh nailed a three to give the Heat the championship. LeBron James was the MVP, averaging 28.6 points per game, 7.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists.RETIRED PLAYERS

Before I post the draft analysis, here is the lottery
PART IV: THE DRAFT
Welcome to the 2011 NBA Draft from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Today dreams will come true, hearts will be broken, and 60 players will be drafted. Let's see what the draft has in store for us. Part One of the Draft: Lottery!1. Kyrie Irving|PG|Duke|- A smart move by the Kings organization, upgrading from Benu Udrih, to a faster and more productive Kyrie Irving. They now hope to build Irving, Tyreke Evans, and DeMarcus Cousins.
Draft Grade: A2. Terrence Jones|SF|Kentucky|- I'm not sure that most of you get why the Pistons made this move. They get young talent in Jones, and Tayshaun Prince was planning to leave via Free Agency. A nice upgrade for them.
Draft Grade: B+3. Perry Jones|SF/PF|Baylor|- I love this pick by the Raptors. Even if he doesn't start, he could win 6th man of the year in his rookie season. He has the range of a shooting guard, but the rebounding abilities of a center. Great pick by the Raptors.
Draft Grade: A+4. Kemba Walker|PG|Conneticut|- This pick is interesting, because the Wolves have a good backup in Ridnour. Looks like David Kahn has his obsession for picking point guards back again. Kemba can be different, but still, it's another point guard not needed.
Draft Grade: C+5. Josh Selby|SG|Kansas|- This move comes in need for a decent shooting guard who doesn't jack up threes every time he gets a chance (I'm looking at you Anthony Morrow). It's a pretty decent move, but could be better. Like picking up a small forward.
Draft Grade: B-6. Harrison Barnes|SF/PF|North Carolina|- I guess this means they needed a backup for Blake Griffin, or to improve at the small forward spot. I really think they should've picked up a better center, in a trade, or in Jonas Valanciunas.
Draft Grade: C+7. Jan Vesely|SF|Czechoslovakia|- Never knew I would say this, but the Wizards have a pretty good roster. They got John Wall, Nick Young, a tall (6'11) Vesely, Blatche, and McGee. The Wiz look good for the future. I like this move.
Draft Grade: B8. Jonas Valanciunas|C|Lithuania|- Finally MJ! FINALLY! Michael Jordan has finally made a right move. When he announced he wasn't resigning Nazr Mohammad, people were wondering why. Mohammad has some great years in Bobcat land. But he pulled the trigger on a nice draft pick. A nice big man who can shoot. Damn, I need one of those.
Draft Grade: A+9. Alec Burks|SG|Colorado|- Cavs suck lol. Just kidding! If I wrote that, I would be getting a long letter from Dan Gilbert in Comic Sans font! Anyway, Burks fills their need at the shooting guard position. Maybe he can be the next LeBron!
Draft Grade: B-TRADE! 2012 1st Round|-----------------|
#10 Pick
The Philadelphia 76ers have sent Elton Brand and the number 10 pick of the 2011 NBA draft to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Cole Aldrich and a future first round pick10. Jared Sullinger|PF/C|Ohio State|- With Jeff Green leaving, the Thunder decided to pick an extra power forward to back Ibaka, or to even start, in Elton Brand, and a Center in Jared Sullinger. Great pickup, and since this team looks like a playoff team next year, the pick will be in the 20's, something that won't matter to the Thunder. For the Sixers, Aldrich is an upgrade over Spencer Hawes. Looks like rising star Ryan Anderson will get the starting nod, which is a smart decision by the Sixers.
Thunder Trade Grade: A|76ers Trade Grade: B|Draft Grade: A11. Travis Leslie|SG|Georgia|- The Jazz aren't used to having Lottery Picks, but after a horrendous season, and new coaches for the first time in 23 years, the Jazz are gonna live here for a while. While Leslie is good, they reportedly have interest in Marcus Thornton. D-League star right here.
Draft Grade: D+12. Derrick Williams|PF|Arizona|- With the loss of Amar'e still in Phoenix, the Suns decided to get better. Instead of Hakim Warrick, you have the younger and more athletic Derrick Williams, who looks to be the next Amar'e.
Draft Grade: B+TRADE! #13 pick|-----------------|
2012 2nd round pick
The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded the 13th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft and Nick Collison in exchange for Andris Biedrins and a future second round pick.13. Jimmer Fredette|PG|BYU|- The Warriors decided to get rid of long time big man Andris Biedrins, practically for Enes Kanter, who the Warriors are rumored to draft with the 14th pick. Jimmer provides a scoring punch and a nice backup for Stephen Curry. He can also play the shooting guard spot, but probably will be Steph's backup.
Warriors Trade Grade: B-|Thunder Trade Grade|C-|Warriors Draft Grade: B+|14. Enes Kanter|C|Switzerland|- The NCAA didn't let him play, so Enes went back to Turkey and whooped ass over there, came back, and now is selected by the Warriors, who now have a pretty center core. With Udoh, Kanter, and Collison as the 5's, expect the team to go have a good season. We better watch Enes Kanter and Udoh. They're gonna fight for the starting spot.

Nice two picks from you.Hoping they will help you better than Biedrins.
mandich wrote:Wow you really like to copy other guys
Do you mean by trading Biedrins? I don't like him, and I was planning on picking Kanter and trading him in the season. Then this offer came up, and Jimmer was still on the table. Don't get riled up because we think a like okay?

I wasn't thinking about that , it was a good move , Biedrins suck.
Yes I know you gave him credit , but you have to have something original , not just copy other people.
