Washington (AP) - After coming off an embarrasing loss to the winless Nets, the Wizards were given another chance and this time they took advantage of the opportunity in facing another weak team.
Why they lost: The Raptors had a bad first quarter, in the second quarter in the first 5 minutes they went on a 10-2 run but couldn't sustain it as the Wizards disrupted them, the Wizards who have one of the worst defenses in the league showed they can play some pretty good defense when forced to.
Why they won: John Wall and Andray Blatche just played amazing, Wall recorded 20 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists and 2 steals, the Raptors couldn't defend against him and Andray Blatche recorded 24 points and 8 rebounds, he showcased 5 highlight reel dunks and the Raptors couldn't answer back after he just hit them with points and points. The Wizards also recorded 43% shooting percentage, whilst the Raptors made just 33% of their shots.

Away Team Box Score - Home Team Box Score
Philadelphia (AP) - With the no 1 and no 2 overall selections from this past draft going head-to-head, it was Jrue Holiday that stole the show recording a triple-double -- but in a losing effort.
Why they lost: The 76ers couldn't contain Nick Young who scored 20 points in the first half and starting off 6 for 7, his performence dipped as he just went 5 of 15 in his next shots, he also scored just 11 more points over three quarters, but it was the first quarter where the Wizards did all the damage to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Why they won: The Wizards had a fantastic offensive first quarter scoring 40 points, they did hold a 14 point lead at one stage but managed to hold into the lead to improve to 4-6 after starting out 0-4.

Toronto (AP) - With the no 1 and no 2 overall selections from this past draft going head-to-head, it was Jrue Holiday that stole the show recording a triple-double -- but in a losing effort.
Why they lost: The Wizards did everything great in the first half, John Wall had a solid game despite 6 turnovers, they got out to a fast 10-2 start, they hit their first 5 of 6 field goals to Toronto's 1 of 4 and shot 50% compared to Toronto's 35% with a 64-48 point lead going into half time, the Wizards folded in the second half and just looked dead, an interesting fact is that over the past 10 games they have led the league with 47.9 rebounds per game.
Why they won: The Raptors started out poorly, they improved their field goal shooting to 44% by the end of the game, but what really was the key stat was that they converted 9 of their 14 three pointers compared to Washington's 5/19, Washington also wasted opportunities on the free throws going 19 of 35, not great stats when they should of easily won this game.

Awesome! My Suns are in the top ten despite sucking in real life.

Atlanta (AP) - After being scoreless for the first 1 minute and 21 seconds of the game it looked like it was going to be a defensive fest, it was until the Hawks came back after trailing 67-60 heading into the final quarter, for the second consecutive game the Wizards gave up the lead.
Why they lost: The Wizards again went cold during the second half, scoring just 30 points in their last two combined fourth quarters, for comparisons sake, the Hawks scored 32 in their fourth quarter rally. The Wizards just didn't do enough to win the game, Nick Young, John Wall, Rashard Lewis and Javale McGee all had nice games, but it's a team effort that gets you the win.
Why they won: Despite Jamal Crawford conceding 8 turnovers, he was pretty consistent tonight in other departments recording 21 points, hitting 7 of his 22 field goals, grabbing 5 boards, 1 assists and 2 steals with 1 defensive block, Joe Joshnson also top scored with 21 points and Al Horford recorded 19 points and 12 rebounds, he also was accurate shooting 8 of his 12 field goals, the performences of the top 3 scores on the Hawks made the difference, as the next top scorer, recorded just 6 points.
