I choose the Warriors because they are an uptempo style team , and I like that. I am using 2k11 on PC but quality won't be good as in my prior dyansty , because this new PC I am using isn't really that good.

You could call it that way. But for real , I picked up some viruses downloading some movies and my PC was unable to recover so I was forced to buy a new one. To be honest , I was loosing interest in my last association and was gonna quit it , but ffs it was really a good PC.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs.” — John Rogers

Prologue

Larry Riley was sitting in his office , like every other day. The current Warriors general manager thought he did a solid job in the previous season, but to remind , the Warriors didn' make the Playoffs. Peter Guber , the owner of the Warriors , was also sitting in his office.
„Wow , fans sure aren't pleased“-he thought to himself as he was browsing trough a Warriors forum. There were many harsh comments on the general manager.
„Some of these guys make a point , don't you think so Nellie?“-head coach Don Nelson was siting on the other side of the table , reading an article about the Golden State Warriors in the papers.
„My job is to coach , I don't want to make Larry look bad“-Nelson and Riley were close friends.
„Look Nellie , I know you two are close , but with the players we have we should have made the playoffs this year. It's either you or him. In mi opinion it's him“-Guber said while taking a sip of water.
„Plus , he promised me this team would make the playoffs on the start of the season“-he continued.
„Well I see that you need to have a talk with him. If you would excuse me , I have some talking myself to do with the players“-Nelson said as he grabbed for his bag and went out of the office.
„Get Larry Riley in my office, now!“-Guber shouted to his secretary. Then Guber continued to browse trough the Warriors forum and found something interesting...
„You wanted to see me?“-Larry knocked on the door. Guber just pointed to the chair as he continued looking in his laptop. Larry then took a sit , and poured in some water. Guber just rotated the laptop and said: „Read this“. As Larry started reading , his face color turned red. It was a whole topic on about Larry Riley sucks and that he needs out of the Golden State Warriors.
„What do you think , to the fans make a point?“-Guber asked while reaching for some paper.
„Wow , I didn't know I was hated that much“-Larry was clearly shocked , as he grabbed his head in surprise.
„They don't hate you , but you made a statement to me and to the fans that the team will make the playoffs Larry. The tam has a great coach , they have good players. The only weak link is their general manager.“
-Guber said as he gave a piece of paper and a pen to Larry.
„Now , write me what I can expect from the team in the following season. You have one hour.“-Guber was loosing patience with the GM. Larry just nodded his head, took the paper and pen and went back to his office.
I hope I don't get fired“-he thought.

-

AN HOUR LATER

Guber was still on his laptop. A few unemployed general managers have contacted him. All of them were interested in a job with the Warriors.
The one that stood out was a European named Luka Mandic. Mandic was in charge of a Croatian basketball team named Cibona Zagreb. The team won the Euroleague this past season and had Jamon Ramirez , the highly regarded Spaniard prospect for this years draft. In his E-mail Luka stated all the things that in his mind need to change if Golden State wants to become a force in the west. Guber was highly interested and invited him into Oracle Arena for a meeting.

Then Larry Riley stepped into his office. He didn't say a word as he entered.
„There you go!“-he said with a little smile on his face as he gave Guber the papers.
„Well lets take a look.“-the owner said as he went trough the papers. The paper was actually looking OK . 2 All-stars , at least one player in All-NBA teams , more fans in the stands , more promoting campaigns. Then Guber got to the last two paragraphs. There Larry wrote that the team will make playoffs in 2 years time , and that he demands a raise. The reason was current immaturity of the players , and all his hard work and dedication to the team.
„Are you freaking kidding me Riley?“-Guber shouted.“Playoffs in two years, a raise? You haven't deserved a fucking raise! Hard work and dedication? You spend all of your time sitting in your office, how the fuck is that hard work and dedication?“-Guber got on his feet and tossed the papers in the trash.
„But ..“
„No buts, You've crossed the line this time.“-Guber pointed his finger in Larry.
"To deserve a raise is just unacceptable Larry!"-Guber was shouting.
"Now get out of my office, as a matter of fact get out of the building, go home. I will contact you in a few days , and just maybe you will keep your freaking job!"-Guber was red in the face.
"I was always too good for this organization."-Larry said as he went out.
"What ? Are you kidding me? Get out!"-Guber shouted.
„Is everything okay sir?“-The secretary asked.
„No it's not. Our General manager is a dumbass!“-Guber shouted , as he was trying to make Riley hear him.
„I am going to fire his ass and hire that European guy“-Guber thought to himself.

Larry Riley fired?

Larry Riley is unemployed after just two seasons with the Warriors, after replacing Chris Mullin in 2009 ? There were many speculations that this might happen , especially on Warriors fan forum where the fans flat out embarrassed everything that he has done in his short time with the team. The Warriors haven't made the playoffs , despite Riley promising it to the fans at the start of the season. "I think it is time that the Warriors split ways with Riley."-Warriors owner Guber stated. "We appreciate everything he has done for this organization , and wish him luck in the future."

The team came up two wins short in the playoff race despite having an All-NBA first team player in Monta Ellis , the Most Improved player in Stephen Curry , and the league leader in field goal percentage , David Lee. Sure Lee missed a lot of games , but the team should have at least made the playoffs. Reports are saying that the Warriors have shown interest in Croatian expert Luka Mandic.

Chapter One : The staring guy

Luka Mandic was on his flight to Oakland, California. He remembered all the things he has gave up to be a general manager in Croatia. How harder will it be to accomplish his dream and become an NBA general manager. He's lost many friend in his 35 years of age , all because he was too focused on his job alone.
„Hope this will all be worth it.“-Luka thought to himself. He switched on his iPod , played some music and slept the rest of the flight.
„Attention all passengers , we are close to our destination , please wake up and be ready for landing:“-Luka woke up , took one last bite of his meal as he waited for the plane to land. As he was walking out of the plane , there was a man flat out staring at him. It was an older man with gray hair. He looked kind of mad.
„What the fuck.“-He thought to himself. Luka got a little bit worried as he rushed outside the terminal. There was supposed to be a taxi waiting for him. At first Luka had trouble finding his fare , and became panicky. After all , he is far away from home , with not a single person he knows. Then , after a couple of minutes that's seemed like an hour to Luka, a taxi arrived and sounded its horn at him.
„Sorry I'm late Mr.Mandic , traffic.“-The taxi driver explained. Luka just nodded his head , put his baggage in the trunk and entered the car. The driver took him to his hotel.

After Luka showered , changed and made himself comfortable , he couldn't help but wonder who was the man staring at him at the airport. Luka could swear he saw that man somewhere already.
„He looks kind of familiar.“-Luka was curious. Then the phone rang.
„Hello.“-Luka answered.
„Hello Mr.Mandic , Peter Guber speaking. I just wanted to make sure if everything was okay.“-Guber was generally a nice person.
„Yes it is , thank you.“-Luka answered plain and simple.
„Listen, is it okay if I send my driver to pick you up in about an hour , maybe two?“-Guber wanted to speed things up.
„Make it two. I still haven't eaten.“-Luka answered. The two then greeted each other and the conversation was over. That strange staring guy was still on Lukas mind.
Luka previously had really serious problems regarding alcohol and drugs. When he gave up those things , he started smoking, a lot. In the next 2 hours he smoked a pack of cigarettes. Talking about addiction!
„Man , if I don't get this job , fuck it I'll go back to alcohol.“-Luka was second guessing his abilities.

-

The driver came to pick up Luka. As he arrived at the Oracle Arena, there was a weird feeling in Luka's stomach , like something bad is going to happen. He thanked the driver , entered the building as the was Guber's secretary waiting for him.
„Welcome , please follow me to Mr.Guber's office.“The secretary said. Luka nodded his head and while he was walking he thought: „Look at the ass on this one.“
As they got to the office , the secretary told him to just knock and get in. Luka took a deep breath , fix his tie and knocked.
„Come in!“-A voice said. Luka entered the door and was shocked. Next to Guber there was that man who stared at him at the airport. Luka was speechless.
„Boy are you alright?“-Guber asked. Luka just nodded his head and took a seat. He was feeling quite uncomfortable. Then he took a sip of water and tried to calm himself down.
„Now let's talk business , huh?“-Guber said.
„What can we expect if Luka Mandic is the general manager of the Golden State Warriors?“Guber asked.
„Well , sir , I really don't know where to get started. First of there will be changes in the teams roster this off-season. The only two players that are sure to stay are Ellis and Curry.“
„Whoa ,whoa,whoa!“-Guber interrupted. „What about David Lee and Biedrins. They are great players.“Guber said.
„Look , Biedrins is nothing more than a solid starter , and Lee is having big problems with injuries. Last season was a mess , I don't want this one to go in that direction. Trade those players when they still have value.“-Luka explained.
„Well , that does make a point. Proceed“-Guber was intrigued as the man next to him just stared at Luka.
„I promise you Playoffs and 2 All-stars. And much more fans in the stands this year. We will get more into fans.“-Luka explained as he reached for some papers. The two continued talking for about an hour, discussing many matters , and Guber was very pleased with everything the Croat had to offer. The man next to Guber didn't say a word.
„I'll get the job , but who the fuck is this psycho?“-Luka thought to himself.
„Congratulations Mandic , you are the new general manager of the Golden State Warriors.“Guber said as the two shook hands.
„Oh I didn't introduce you two , how rude of me.“Guber laughed.
„You know what it's best if you stay here a little bit longer , after all , you will be working together.“Guber said as he exited the office.
„Wait a minute I know who you are !“-Luka said with a scared tone.
„Bravo , buthead. Listen I know everything about you , all the drugs , the alcohol things , all the troubles in high school and college. If you don't listen to every word I say , I'll let Guber know those things and you are out off the Warriors organization . . .

This looks great, maybe another Sit in the making. Stick with it and this has been added to the Association List.
