I'm inclined to agree. If you win it all, it would be cool to see you take on a worse team.

WellUp to you man! Your thread is pretty popular as it is with the Heat and I would think you'd like to win back to back before you switched it up and leave a three peat up to the cpu. :)

I wouldn't start a new one, I would carry one with another team. If I win it all, it would be much easier to move on. Plus, I'd have one heck of a team to challenge.

Any team suggestions?

I don't think you need to change teams, you just need to put your own stamp on the roster. If that means breaking up the big 3 then so be it

Perhaps you want Derrick Rose to join with Wade & Lebanon instead of Bosh, who knows?

I think changing teams is possible if the focus is either or the coach/GM or the league as a whole. That's why in Sit's Association he wouldn't have lost a beat if he went to NY with Tyson. Whereas my Wolves' Association couldn't pull it off because my one is about the team first, league second & coach/GM is more or less irrelevant.

I reckon you stay Heat for at least a second season before reassessing the situation. I respect dynasty makers who stay with a team longer than a season. Furthermore, we always see people win titles once or twice with their favourite teams. I wouldn't mind except they usually retire them after they win. What I wouldn't mind seeing is Heat winning it all twice with an even better roster and you moving onto a worse team and then going deeper into the timeline :)

To see if Heat can keep it together & turn into a dynasty. That's what ppl like about Sit's, the rise & fall of teams.

I'd rather have Rose, Wade and Bosh then LeBron, Wade and Rose.

We'll see how the season pans out, no immediate plans have been made. :)

dare, if I can win a title with this team, I think I'd have worked out 2K well enough to try to succeed with a weaker team.

In what was a very ugly game to watch, the HEAT came out on top 92-84. The Nuggets shot 35%, just 26% in the first half, while the HEAT had 21 turnovers.

LeBron James led the way with 25 points, struggling with his jump-shot the whole game, but did tie a career-high with 15 assists. Kyle Korver also had 25 points, he added 6 rebounds. Joel Anthony had a career-high 18 points.

The Nuggets shot just 14% in the first quarter, missing many open looks. They couldn't make a three-pointer to save their lives, going 2-27 from range in the game. Those 2 were late in the game, when Al Harrington attempted to rally the Nuggets back, but there was just too little time left.

Dwyane Wade was still sidelined and the HEAT had dropped 7 straight before beating the Clippers last night. With this stretch, the HEAT have relinquished their lead in the Eastern Conference to the Boston Celtics.

The HEAT will face former teammate Mike Miller in Chicago to wrap up their 5-game road trip.

"Clearly the shots weren't falling for us, so we had to make up for it on D. We got lucky a few times, but overall we was great. I'm proud. Joel was very active tonight, a big reason why we won tonight. "

Build the roster so that it will be contenders year in year out even if you have left the team.

Damn, Bulls really destroyed you..

About the team change, I'd suggest you to take some mediocre or bootom west team like Wolves or Rockets, because East is so stacked right now and another good team there would be too much... or you could take Wizards/Bobcats and beat the Heat for a division title ;)

"So an excellent win for the Chicago Bulls on their home floor and the Heat lose again, this time in a blow-out fashion.

Final score 101-68. A frustrating evening for LeBron James and his Heat teammates. They fell to 5-9 without Dwyane Wade and give up their lead in the Eastern Conference to the Boston Celtics. They will now have just 2 games in the next 11 days, plenty of time to work things out. Bosh is hurt, he'll have time to heal, Wade might be back.

From all of us on ESPN, Mark Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy, Michelle Tafoya, Mike Breen on hand, saying good night, we'll see you next time."

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••

"What the hell was that? That was inexplicable. You let James Johnson score 12 points on you in 11 minutes. I don't even want to think what might have happened if Rose had played."
Erik Spoelstra was clearly fuming after Miami's recent loss.
"We have 2 games next week, no days off for you. It's gonna be training camp all over again!"
"But coach," Chris Bosh broke silence, "Monday is Martin Luther King Day. We had.."
"WHAT? You want a day off? Here's a thought, take that day to learn to shoot and play fucking defence!"
The locker room went silent.
"That's it. Tomorrow, 8 AM, practice. Everyone's there."

Spoelstra left the locker room. The flight back to Miami was taken in complete silence.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••

"Sarah, please ask LeBron into my office."
Pat Riley really wanted a conversation with his prized off-season acquisition.
LeBron was in the middle of practice. He was running suicides with the rest of his teammates, everyone falling back a little bit got an earful and had to do 100 push-ups.
Riley's secretary Sarah cautiously approached Spoelstra.
"Umm, Mr Spoelstra?"
"What is it? Make it quick."
"Mr Riley would like to see LeBron in his office. Can he be excused from practice?"
"How long will it take? I have a schedule."
"Mr Riley didn't specify, it seemed quite urgent."
"Uhhhh. Fine."
Spoelstra blew his whistle.
"All right LeBron, get your ass into Pat's office."
LeBron was exhausted and started slowly walking off the court towards the Gatorade supply.
"Hey King, today!" Spoelstra wanted to carry on with his session.
James took his time, got a cup of Gatorade, drank it in almost one sip, thew the cup on the floor and started to walk towards Riley's office, bumping Spoelstra on the way.
"Oh sorry coach, didn't see you there," said LeBron, insincerely, mumbling profanities while leaving.

"Mr Riley, Mr James is here."
"Good, send him in."
"Okay Mr James, Mr Riley will see you now."
"Thanks, I'll see you around. Loving the skirt."
"Oh, Mr James, stop..." said Sarah, clearly hiding the fact that she was blushing.

"You wanted to see me?" said LeBron, not suspecting anything.
"Glad you came in. Erik riding you guys pretty hard today?"
"It's pretty tough, but I'll manage."
"So, how are things? You like it here?"
"It's great. No complaints."
"So what has happened as of late?"
"Well Dwyane is out y'know, Chris is hurt, it's been tough, but once healthy we'll be fine."
"Okay, I worked very hard to get you three together. You were all leaders of your teams. Now one of you is out, you still have 2 franchise players and there are just no results."
"I've really tried. I had that 50-10-10 against Houston you know, and another triple-double in LA."
"And guess what? We lost both games."
"What are you saying?"
"That there is a difference between great stats and stat-padding. And what has been up with you the last 2 weeks? You should be scoring more, not less! With Dwyane you averaged like 30, now without him 22 and you can't make a shot lately."
"Don't blame me, I get the job done."
"Don't you raise your tone in here."
"I'm just saying look for the problems some place else."
"Chris has a strained calf, it's clear he is hurt. You need to carry this team. What happened to not 6, not 7 championships?
"I am carrying this team, nobody is following."
"You led the Cavaliers to back-to-back 60+ seasons. This team is better then that, clearly you aren't."
"I don't have to take this. LeBron James doesn't get blamed for struggles."
"You will and if you don't like it, we are prefectly happy chasing those 7 championships without you."

That's surprising. I rather like to score with LBJ and Bosh since I like their Js more. Wade is not as important for me, although he can hit those miracle shots here and there. Good to see that even your Heat are struggling ;)
