Not true, there was that one and also the other one. That's two in going on eleven years, let's not get greedy now.

But were they in Toronto?
I haven't seen one. Not on TV, at least; I did pick up Kobe's 81-point game from Pontel. Haven't seen a Bobcats game either. Fairly sure they're the only two teams in the league I've never seen.

I vaguely recall a Blazers/Raptors game on ESPN Australia about four or five, maybe even six years ago. It might've been in Portland though. There was also a Heat/Bobcats game a few years back, but they've been pretty scarce on Aussie TV.

Go Planet!
I still think Heart is a sham just to please the gullible Latino kid.
Wed Jan 12, 2011 3:38 pm
Clearly someone didn't watch
RAIN OF TERROR which explained HEART WAS MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL for that band of eco-terrorists.
What the fuck is Ma-Ti's accent? And Jaesus Christ at how shitty the animation is.

Jeff Goldblum.
Last one up's a hoser!

I watched and still somewhat remember that episode. Still not convinced. Those 4 rings can do damage by themselves. Who needs to summon a green haired punk who'll probably weaken when cigarette smoke is blown in his face or thrown a clump of synthetic fertilizer.

I like to imagine it this way. Gaia is really an environmental freak, one of those WE HAVE TO SMASH HUMAN LIFE TO SAVE THE PLANET types. Except she's also a billionaire. Ala Sheryl Crow. And she rounded up these socially dysfunctional kids from various countries and gave them hallucinogenic drugs.
What we see in the series is how they PERCEIVE the events. They perceive all these innocent mildly polluting but vastly producing businessmen as evil inhumane creatures raping Gaia. And Captain Planet is their perception of what's really like an ELF type army. In the real world, instead of using the legal system, they're blowing up private property, murdering innocent workers and carving a vast path of destruction throughout the planet.
It's similar to how Beauty and the Beast is actually a movie about Stockholm Syndrome.

And the monkey? If they're hallucinating the monkey must be able to speak but it didn't. Might as well tie up any loose ends.

Except that would taint the monkey with too many dirty human characteristics harming his status as a pure entity in harmony with the Earth.

So I watched the whole episode again and...
In the beginning it tries to brainwash kids (the show's target demographic) into thinking that disgusting interracial relationships are okay as shown by the black man and azn flirting with each other before they climb the wall. I wouldn't be surprised if the series was also bankrolled by Russian traffickers as the Russian chick's short shorts conditions the kids that when they grow up and want a mail order bride, might as well buy Russian. It also shows how stupid Americans are because damn Wheeler can't even tuck his shirt in right.
As a kid I thought Wheeler was an idiot, watching now do I realize that all of the Planeteers are idiots. Kwame apparently doesn't know how a door works. He could have created some rock protrusions to dislodge the door and create an opening for them to escape, minor trembling but not a big enough earthquake. For Linka, bitch needs to stop being a blonde...
Ma-Ti: Terrible cloud is going to start raining acid at any moment.
Kwame: And look where the wind is blowing it.
Gi: Right towards that city!
Linka: There is nothing we can do to stop that cloud by ourselves!
Granted that she may not be powerful enough to really stop the advance of the cloud, she could at least have delayed it from killing that forest! Also, Captain Planet did nothing! to protect the forest and only became concerned when it was threatening the city. So much for protecting the environment. I also like how he transformed into a tornado where he leaves a trail of destruction in his path like what tornadoes do

Got hosed down by someone who's into eco-activism or just doesn't want his childhood memories of Captain Planet being tainted by a troll.
That or it's a really good bot.

If he's aged 22 or 24/25 (based on joined date from 2008), could be.

http://www.brobible.com/story/video-real-life-superhero-phoenix-jones-attacked-while-trying-to-fight-crimOn Saturday, the man who calls himself Phoenix Jones was trolling around Seattle in costume, when he saw two guys fighting (presumably in a dark alleyway). At this point Jones thought to himself, "jackpot!" As he went in to break up the fight, one man turned on him and then so did the other. One even pulled a gun. Then they held him down as they each took turns kicking him in the face.

I guess it was only a matter of time.
