Anthony Morrow is better than everyone else in that trade put together. The Thunder fucked both the other teams.

Was playing my player, drafted by Boston 17th overall. Was averaging 19 points and 7 boards off the bench (SF, 3pt-specialist). Asked a trade. Since I started a new one with a C, increased the SF's skills points with the cheat engine. Landed in Miami, LeBron was out. Started putting up triple-doubles, asked for another trade. Landed in New Orleans, was thrilled. Me, CP3, West, Ariza, Okafor. But sadly the Hornets traded CP3 for me, so I have to score every a lot, first 3 games have combined for 8 assists, because no one wants to score there. The Heat will be awesome though now. CP3, Wade, LeBron, Bosh... I'm hoping to keep playing that one too to see how do the Heat fare. The Heat were 7-8 when I went there, now 13-8. CP3 hasn't played there yet. At least we play them only once more. The Hornets are 8-12, 3 wins with me. My guy averaging 31 points, 8 rebounds, shooting 43% from three and 97% from the line. Last three games, averaging 45 points per game.

Won't use the cheat with the C, just see how things go with him.

Please tell me that's a typo.

Also, this thread isn't a place to advertise what you're doing in your association story. This thread is for associations that you don't create your own thread for. Just a heads up.

My C is 7'3, 280, athletic.

First game of the summer circuit - 30 points, 33 rebounds. Just 1 block though.

Summer circuit is easy in 2K11. I remember leading it in scoring, assists, and probably was top 5 in rebounds as a PG. I remember dropping 33-11-10 in my last game too. Still get those kind of stats with the Blazers, but they're just near triple-doubles. With Brandon Roy chucking up shots left and right, though, I have to bail the team out. :(

Association on the side

GAMES: 29
QUARTER: 4 mins
SIM: 4 mins
PLAYOFFS: 1-3-3-5

The Lakers lost a simmed game to the Hawks by about 10 points. Just played the third game of the season against my brother.

The Lakers had a very slow start, especially Kobe who missed all 4 shots in the first quarter. However, a second quarter surge by the Lakers bench got us back to an 18-18 tie at halftime with the New Orleans Hornets. It started off with a Shannon Brown dunk in traffic before Matt Barnes joined in on the action after a Barnes steal, pass to Brown then Brown's handoff back to Barnes for a fastbreak dunk. On the next posession, Andrew Bynum would grab a Hornets miss and Brown would slam it home on the fast break!

The third quarter saw the Hornets heat up with Trevor Ariza hitting a three pointer and Chris Paul weaving his way in for three easy layups in a row. Paul would finish with 18 points. However, Kobe Bryant came to the rescue as he kept the team in the game and scored about 17 of his 21 points in the second half. Kobe got us back into it in the fourth quarter and actually scored 7 straight points to give us out first lead at 38-36 or something with 1:30 left in the game. With less than 10 seconds left, the Lakers up 43-41 after a Bynum dunk - the Hornets pushed the ball up the floor. Ron Artest saved the game as he hit the ball out of Ariza's hands with just 2 seconds left on the clock as he squared up for a three point attempt. David West couldn't get the last shot up to beat the clock.

This was LA's first win of the season.

We started a Boston-Portland game and have saved it at the end of the third quarter. The score is close - a gap of just about 5 points. Rudy Fernandez had 9 first half points and Ray Allen had 11 first half points. The Blazers trailed early in the third 17-27 before Brandon Roy hit a turnaround three pointer and then Fernandez had an in-traffic dunk to bring Portland closer 22-27. Will finish the game later but Boston looks strong to get their first win of the season.

BOSTON: 0-1 (game in progress)
LAKERS: 1-2

Association on the side

GAMES: 29
QUARTER: 4 mins
SIM: 4 mins
PLAYOFFS: 1-3-3-5

Finished the Portland game and my brother's Celtics beat them 37-26. Ray Allen top scored with 22 and Rudy led Portland with 11, Roy had like 7 points.

We simmed forward to a Boston-Miami matchup.

It was an exciting see-sawing affair that saw Boston fall desperately short. D Wade led the Heat with 18. He had a clutch three pointer with 30 seconds left to put the Heat up by 4 points. Ray Allen responded a few seconds later with a three of his own to cut it to 1. On the other end, D Wade knocked down a long 2 points to keep his team up by 3 points. Nate Robinson dunked in traffic to cut it back to 1 point. The Heat had a chance to win it with around 10 seconds when Mike Miller took an open jumper. He seemed to have been fouled on the shot as he fell on his back after a late challenge by Paul Pierce. No foul was called and the Celtics had the last shot. With time winding down, a double team on Allen subdued him from taking the final shot and he got off a terrible look at the buzzer. Miami held on to win something like 41-40.

Ray Allen led the Celtics with 25 points... bad news coming Boston's way as Kevin Garnett left the game late in the fourth with a broken ankle. He is out 6-8 weeks now.

hi.
Asociation with Raptors. All-star level. 10min quarters. 12min SIM.

Just finished RS. When I started with 4-19, decided to reshuffle my squad. Done loads of trades or sign n trades.
So at the middle of the season the team looked like this.
PG J.JACK
SG J.SALMONS
SF L.KLEIZA
PF C.BOOZER
C G.ODEN
6th man D.WEST
7th K.HINRICH
8th J.Bayless
9th D.Green
10th K.Brown
11th J.Pargo/I.Udoka
12th E. Dampier/Tim Thomas

Last 4 signed as free agents.

Managed to finish 41-41 and 7th in the EAST. Surprisingly got Hawks in the first round as they finished 2nd above Heat and Magic, Celtics were 1st. Hopefully will beat them ,but most likely will get Heat in the next round and thats gona be the end..

You would have to then the override on and use your own team as a proxy, swapping one of your players with one team, swapping that player with another, and then swapping back for your player.

News from the Pacers

Postby Radioman on Thu Jan 13, 2011 6:58 pm

After a very bad start things are going better for my Pacers now.

Despite i lost against Denver and Houston, i did not gave up and had two awesome wins against Cleveland and Atlanta. The most surprising win was against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are seed no 2 in the East and i rocked them :D

But the next day the Heat blew me out of the gym (N)

I am looking optimistic to the future and i think i will make the Playoffs in spot 7 or 8.

I also made some changes in the starting 5. I exchanged McRoberts to the benefit of Paul George, George can draw to the basket and provoke a lot of fouls.

My record: 5:8

---------

DEN @ IND 120:113 > Melo 55pts
HOU @ IND 119:102 > Yao 21pts 21reb

IND @ CLE 110:96 win
ATL @ IND 94:124 win

LAC @ IND 110:109 > Chris Kaman 23pts 21reb
ORL @ IND 105:112 win

IND @ MIA 95:108
CLE @ IND 86:102 win

If anyone wants a bad ass play that's virtually guaranteed to get your SF an open shot every time, try 23 swing (85-86 Celtics).

My NBA 2K10 OKC Association. Damn Pistons. All games simmed.
Image

It used to be all 5 of my starters in there. After the ASG, Miller replaced one. We have the best record in the league and the nearest team is 10 games behind. Even in the game the MVP award is a joke like irl lol.

Someone in the 2K dev team must be a fan of Chappelle Show or Wayne Brady.
