Got to a happy place with Super Meat Boy, at the last boss, I dont really feel like taking 100+ attempts at it.
Halo Reach started a community playlist with community made Forge maps, I loved this playlist in Halo 3 and I'm loving it long time in Reach.
Also got my copy of Skate 3 from gamefly's sale, havent really gotten into it but so far its fun.

I've only been able to finish III and LCS. Great games, good endings, fun final missions.

Never finished LCS or VCS, I just never got into them like I did with the original GTAs

Vice City's and IV are the only ones ive finished. I remember both being a bitch and a half.

I'm still stuck collecting property in my furtherest Vice City save. I'm sure I'll pick it up for another attempt at some point. Never got that far in IV.

They're ports, but still fun to play. VCS has some of the hardest missions of any GTA game, even San Andreas.

Finished Back to the Future Episode I -- a fun game for fans of the series. It's a bit short, but all the references and the humor made up for it. The guy who did voice acting for Marty McFly did a great job on this. And

Christopher Lloyd

Just started on Assassin's Creed II last Sunday, and will start a game with Fallout: New Vegas.

Agreed, I bought the season when it was on sale on Steam and I can't wait for the next episode, they did a great job at making it feel like the movies.

"Renting" NFS: Hot Pursuit and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions tomorrow from a friend. Will see how it goes.

Hilarious. I read the story before. Haven't played it yet, it's there on my PC table

Well, just finished the game and I LOVED IT... there are some parts where I was thrilled. The levels of Sandman and Carnage are well worth the purchase.
All the challenges there to accomplish (180) makes me wanna go for a second run.

Yeah the game rocks. Funny thing happened when I went to pick up the game at EB Games I got the pre-order code and when I inputted the code in my PS3 I ended up having all the stuff from the collectors edition instead of the Tron costume and the Even More Animals pack.

Tue Jan 25, 2011 2:09 pm

Picked up Age of Empires: Mythologies & Final Fantasy Tactics A2 for DS for train rides to & from work. Am not digging AOE:M at the moment. Doesn't seem to have the magic of AOE:Age of Kings, which I'm half way through my 2nd play through.
Wed Jan 26, 2011 11:39 am
Picked up STALKER: Call of Pripyat for cheap on Steam. I played it when it came out, but I just love the STALKER series, I had to play it again...

this is a shitty game
and I'm having a blast with it (pun intended)Edit: After restarting the game, I now have shadows/dof/bunch of other effects that greatly improved the graphics
The graphics are pretty terrible, but on the plus side my now barely minimum requirements computer can run it max everything at 60fps. The destruction is by far the best....not as gimmicky as BF's but it makes this game a sniper's paradise. Seriously, if you dont know how to snipe or hate getting pinged by us fuckers then stay away. There is an IR detector perk or something for finding snipers but you have to get 7000xp to get the rank to acquire it plus another 2000. Anyway, shooting out a single brick to snipe through is awesome, getting taken out by a nice explosion from an RPG while next to a wall is satisfying in a Burnout crash kind of way.
The overall shittiness of the game gives it a lot of charm IMO. Graphics are really washed out and basic....but it kind of reminds me of the old CS. Maps are huge, there's only 5, but the game modes are interesting at least. I'm a pyro sneaky bastard who always played as the C4 guy in BF2, so knowing there are 4 guys on the 2nd floor of the building, putting charges on the ceiling on the 1st floor, and then blowing them up from underneath literally makes me giggle.
So its a fun, shitty game. It's on sale right now for $12 for PC (instead of $20) and $15 on the 360. The 360 version looked a lot better graphic wise, but had more framerate/lag issues. You get 30 minutes of unrestricted gametime for the trial which should give you more than enough time to decide if you like it.
So if you tactical booms and destruction, get it and enjoy it for what it is. I'm hoping for community tools or a major patch or something to improve the animations/graphics, but this ain't going to replace COD or BFBC2 or really any other game IMO.
o rly
The Settings Menu only allows me to change texture quality and VSYNC settings. Is there any way to change other graphics settings like anti-aliasing or shadow quality?
Breach will automatically choose the graphics settings best suited for your hardware; you will not be able to change settings other than VSYNC, texture quality, and resolution.
well that explains that
