Games you're playing right now, and my freetime's demise

Been playing a lot of Halo Reach since the Map Pack hit, Trials HD after that new DLC was released as mentioned above, but I've swapped GT5 for Grid and haven't touched my PS3 games I got from Black Friday.

There were 2 free XBLA games released today. Doritos Crash Course which is Wipeout or Ninja Warrior with Avatars (which is awesome) and another vehicular combat game which IMO isn't nearly as good. If you guys have a 360, get that Crash Course game....well worth the 60mb of space it takes up.

The price is right, guess I might as well give them a look. Thanks for the tip.

how much was the map pack? and how are the maps?

gt5 has a patch "to fix the damage" but i read it's only mechanical damage in online racing only

Halo's Noble pack is $10. Anchor 9 has a section of it based in space and puts the rockets out there which was an awesome design choice. People exploited Zealot's space area so its good to have it back. Only a shotgun and rockets for power weapons on that map.

Tempest reminds me of a smaller Valhalla. Power weapons doubled up on each side, no flying vehicles, and they make snipers travel to the middle open area to get the rifles. It's deceptively huge with a lot of rocks that you can get protection fun. It's my new favorite map.

Breakout is fucking huge. Nice sniping spine in the middle of the map, a few buildings to get in. Awesome banshee fighting as well as a wraith. All the power weapons are littered everywhere. Each side gets rockets, shotty, and a sniper (in the middle of the spawns again) but then 1 side gets a Splaser, other gets the beam rifle, one gets the plasma rifle, other gets gravity hammer, and there is a grenade launcher in the middle. It's the best BTB map made by bungie IMO, close 2nd is sand trap.

With the PESEdit patch released, PES 2011 has been killing most of my free time.

With PES is all about practice, like AI would say. I got frustrated after losing 3 straight matches so I went back to 2k

Been playing a lot of Twisted Metal with my mom. We mostly play 2 and Black, but we decided to play through the entire series, and fire up 3 & 4 for the lulz. Even worse than I had remembered. Twisted Metal 3 especially, with the "tru-physics" that made you flip over every five seconds, and the cars impossible to drive, along with the hideous graphics, turrible music, retarded cars (Flower Power replacing Shadow?!) and the fact that it followed my favorite game of all time.

The fact that the loading bars went backwards for some reason (and TM4 failed to fix this!) was the highlight of the game.

Got a PS3 with God of War 3 and Gran Turismo 5. Have yet to start GT5, but I'm almost done with GoW already. It's a great game - easily my favorite in the series. Combat is pretty easy though. I regret not playing it on hard, since I'm pretty close to the end already, but I reckon I'll do another playthrough.

I regret not playing it on hard, since I'm pretty close to the end already, but I reckon I'll do another playthrough.

well Phil89 is here in case you need any help on GT5 i'm pretty much at my limits as far as how much i want to play. they did patch in some more events so i might pick it up again.

Got batman arkham asylum as my only game gift for xmas. Near perfect game if the storyline wasnt so short. Gonna have to play through again and get all the riddles and stuff as I go.

Assassin's Creed, want to catch up on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Already at Memory Block 5 and the game's side missions are uhh, repetitive.

Planning on buying it sometime soon. Played GOW: Chains of Olympus on the PSP and I think the story's a little too short for my liking, but it's still pretty good. And then I still need to buy the first two games on the PS3 so I know what's going on.
