Chicago Bulls announced today that Gar Forman, general manager of this team, is fired. Many Bulls fans and experts talk about his decisions and they unanimously said: "With this GM we won't become an NBA champions!...". Fans are dreaming about back to the top and they accused Gar Forman of lack of chamiponship since he was a general manager. Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf said: "I found the best candidate to replace Gar Forman."
The new general manager of Chicago Bulls is Scottie Pippen. Great member of Bulls organisation, six time NBA champion, two time Olympic gold medallist, 10 NBA All-Defensive honors and in 2010 he became a Hall of Famer. "My heart was always in Chicago. I see in this young guys big potential and I will make everything to help them to become an NBA champions." - said Pippen. He decided to to take after Michael Jordan and face other side of the basketball. Jordan said: "Scottie will be great as GM". Will it be decisive change for team from Windy City? Time will tell.

Just people being smart asses & trying to make a point that nobody likes all the reserve posts. I was tempted to delete the spam but only will do if asked.
New general manager of Chicago Bulls, Scottie Pippen announced that they acquired guard O.J. Mayo and forward Darrell Arthur from Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Taj Gibson, James Johnson, Omer Asik and 2012 1st round draft pick. It's first Pippen's move as general manager.
Two year man, Mayo averaged 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals per game for Memphis Grizzlies last season. Widely regarded as the top high school recruit of 2007, O.J. played one season at USC before he was selected with the third overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has started all 164 games in his two seasons with the Grizzlies, only the second player in franchise history to post consecutive seasons with 82 starts (Mike Bibby, 1999-2001). Runner-up to Chicago’s Derrick Rose for the 2008-09 NBA Rookie of the Year Award and one of only two unanimous selections, along with Rose, to the 2008-09 NBA All-Rookie First Team. "We need more fire power in middle range and behind the three point line. It's good move by Scottie." - said Bulls coach, Tom Thibodeau.
Darrell Arthur averaged 4.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game last season. He won the 2008 NCAA National Championship as a member of the Kansas Jayhawks, playing alongside current NBA players Mario Chalmers, Brandon Rush and Darnell Jackson. Originally selected by the New Orleans Hornets with the 27th overall pick in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft, his rights were traded three times on draft night before he eventually landed in Memphis. Darrell registered a double-double off the bench in his first career NBA game with 11 points and 15 rebounds on Oct. 29, 2008 at Houston, breaking Benoit Benjamin’s 13-year-old franchise record for most rebounds (13) in a Grizzlies debut.

I like the trade i know you got rid of Gibson but you dont get talent without giving up talent.
The X wrote:I like the trade. Without giving up any of your core (Rose, Noah, Boozer & Deng), you had to give up a 2nd tier player (Gibson), a 1st round pick (2012) & some promising young players (Asik & James Johnson).
Good fair deal. Always unusual when you see guys on the forums make good smart deals

When you already have an All-Star point guard and a borderline All-Star centre on your roster, striking out on the big three in the summer of 2010 is a whole lot easier to swallow.
Last season Bulls end at third division and eight conference place with 41-41 record. The fans want much more. Experts analysed 2010/11 season and they expecting great future for Chicago Bulls.
Evryone talking about Wade, James and Bosh and every team thinking how to stop the Big Three. But how they combine with dynamic duo, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah? Bulls done great job with building this team around Noah and Rose. First of all in getting Carlos Boozer, the Bulls grabbed one of the most reliable power forwards in the game today, and they got him for much less than the Knicks had to pay to get Amar'e Stoudemire. Boozer provides this team with the kind of low-post scoring they've been needed since Eddy Curry left the squad, and he's an ideal partner for Rose in the pick-and-roll since it's been the play he's been running with Deron Williams for five years in Utah. Boozer takes tremendous amounts of scoring pressure off of Rose, too, since he's spent the last four years averaging exactly 20-points-per-game.
Secondly another great move (by Scottie Pippen already) was acquiring O.J. Mayo and Darrell Arthur from Memphis Grizzlies. After trading Kirk Hinrich to Washington Wizards there was a empty place on shooting guard position. Mayo is perfect player for Bulls, he is great shooter and good defender. In rookie season he was racing with Derrick Rose for Rookie of the year award, averaging 18.5 points per game.
Darrell Arthur was a nice addition for this trade, gave Chicago more athletisism and power in the paint. There was a lot of critics from fans about trading away Taj Gibson. "You dont get talent without giving up talent." - said mp3 (anonymous nba.com basketball expert).
Chicago Bulls got a tremendously talented group, easily the most talented roster this team has had in a very long time, and in a top-heavy Eastern Conference, they rank near the top in terms of potential for this coming season.
Derrick Rose scored 24 points and dropped 11 assists to lead Chicago Bulls to first victory off the regular season, 117-109 against Oklahoma City Thunder.
Bulls controlled all game and win without any problem thanks to great performances by all starters. Carlos Boozer was the highest scorer with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Great numbers also, in debut in Chicago, from O.J. Mayo who ended game with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Big role in win have Luol Deng (19 points, 7 rebounds) and Joakim Noah (13 points, 14 rebounds). "That's what I'm talking about! Great team work and effort from everybody. If we'll keep this level of play I'm sure we will be on the East's top." - said Tom Thibodeau.
Despite of loose that was great night for Kevin Durant. He putted on a show and get 34 points and 9 rebounds. Durant said: "We have done everything we can to stop Bulls and this wasn't enough. Everybody know about offensive abilities from Boozer and Rose and there is no suprise they combined great numbers. I hope we'll get revenge." Nice game also from Harden, who ends the game with 19 points, and Westbrook who get a double-double: 16 points, 11 assists.
First quarter was very close, but Bulls dominated second and even great performance from Durant in 3rd didn't help Thunder. Bulls were in totally control of this game. This game confirmed that Bulls are one of the most powerful teams in the East.![]()
