I am prety satisfied with the new shadow mod but there is a problem that I want to point out, when you try to do a bird view camera angle at the player, there seems to be some areas that is too dark on the arms.. however if fixing this will screw up the amazing shadows on the standard view, i would rather keep it the way it is.

me being a perfectionist will most likely try to fix it, but it will be difficult without the best tester ( JJ ) here. I would have to start over from scratch and try to make it duplicate the miracle in that first pic you have there of Kobe.

already try your SM xxx3 - SM crysis,combine with your crysis PM (i make a minor color corection tweak to adjust with my monitor),and this my impression bro..
xxx3 ---> realy great improvement,realy balance color overall..
xxx4 ---> you say you make a litlle tweak on player skin,but for me its make a huge impact :shock: ,twice better color skin compare with xxx3 :applaud: ,but too bad this version have unbalance color in some moment movie(i mean when they have close up angle for free throw,when player come from bench,after they get fouled,ect),skin color become too redish/yellow..so,i think xxx3 still better overall..
xxx5 ---> xxx4 problem solved :bowdown2: :bowdown2: :bowdown2: ...this version kill xxx3 (Y) (Y)
crysis ---> i love the shiny effect in player skin,but i must agree with dbzx opinion..in my case its happen even in broadcast view (but its because i tweak the enb to make the acc look daker)...maybe you can fix it some day...
Overall,SM xxx5 is the best IMO...thx bro.. :bowdown2: :bowdown2:

John,

I noticed you modified the green in the face texture (85) and the sweat still works, but the faces look better. You should do the same with 412 and 691 so the arms and legs look the same as the face.

i had to modify the face sweat texture because otherwise, there would have barely been any sweat on the face. The faces look better because of the hex edits i made, and not because of the edit i made to the sweat texture (85). I had to turn the green to white in photoshop, so the sweat would appear more visible and in a timely manner.

johndoe22, you earned your place in hall of fame of patchers! These latest mods are truly awesome!!!As far as I see it the best way to describe it is that besides other issues the crispness and sharpness has become super-eye-friendly and photo realistic!

I'm digging your latest work, but there seems to be a problem with some of the really dark players (well, I only noticed it with only 2 players really).
Here's what Ronnie Brewer looks like with crysis shadow mod 2 + crysis photo mod 2:
Image
He's got a yellowish glow in his arms and face.
In game, I noticed KG has this problem somewhat (just a bit of a yellow glow), but nowhere near as bad.

Keep up the great work though, john (Y)
