Awesome, great to see Wallace back in the All-Star game. You may want to fix the Eastern lineup. Next to Rondo's pic it says Devin Harris - Boston Celtics. Number 11 should be Rajon Rondo and by Number 12, you don't have a name - Devin Harris should be typed there?

JAY Z,CHRIS ROCK CAN"T EVEN GET THE NETS OUT OF THE SLUMPS AS THE BOBCATS COME UP VICTORIOUS
New Jersey 14 19 12 26 71
Charlotte 14 31 19 21 85

With the Bobcats and Nets rumored to be in a deal again these 2 franchises have created some form of a rivalry this year. A tight 14-14 all first qtr that had both team on the edge of their seats including a couple of A-List New Jersey but in the 2nd the Nets did what the Nets have done best recently lose. Augustin struggled with 10 turnovers,Jackson triumphing with 6 steals,Diaw with 2 and a fiery encounter from Tyrus Thomas and Avery Johnson saw Thomas benched and speculations of him possibly back to Charlotte gain momentum. The Bobcats with a lead where completely renovated by Shaun Livingston once again finishing with 19. New Jersey where able to give the home team a scare with an 11 all run but Boris Diaw's mid range game in full effect and Charlottes defense proving to hard to get through. Even an off night from All stars Devin Harris and Gerald Wallace wasnt enough Charlotte winning in the end 85-71.

TYRUS THOMAS BACK IN A BOBCATS UNIFORM
Image

After constant rumors, locker room tension and media scrutiny Tyrus Thomas is a Charlotte Bobcat again. Charlotte have dealt away Javaris Crittenton and as well as the overpaid Desagna Diop and 1st round draft pick as well as a 2nd round draft picks (orignally the Nets). New Jersey have given back Tyrus Thomas and point guard Marcus Williams.
Herb Brown had this to say "at first i think fans will think this is to much, but it really comes down to the numbers. We are able to get rid of Diop's massive contract and get Marcus Williams who is in the last year of his. At this stage we are sitting in 7th position and with Thomas back we will be able to be more successful therefore we dont think the picks are very relevant in our situation and will go further with the Nets. The Bobcats GM commented "We are just glad to get rid of that Massive contract Diop had before i got here.If you look at our trades this season we have given away Diop,Crittenton,Augustine and a 1st roud pick for Devin Harris and Marcus Williams, not bad at all.
The Nets GM had this to say: "At the moment its all about rebuilding we have a lot of cap room, expiring contracts as well as trade bait and 2 1st round draft picks we are happy with what happened today.

What do you guys think i got Thomas back who was originally on the roster which makes it more realistic as well as Crittenton who was not. Im very relieved to get rid of Diop's stupid contract which i think is the most stupid in the NBA 6 million for half a basket a game? the picks dont really matter to me. I took in what you guys said about making it more realistic so i gave them a 1st round but for security for the Bobcats i got Marcus Williams who will fill the roll Crittenton played so he doent really matter + he has an expiring contract ;) It also makes my team stronger for the playoffs.

Tracey Johnson was lucky enough to catch up with 2011 all stars Gerald Wallace and Devin Harris of the Charlotte Bobcats after saturdays loss to the Hawks.
TRACEY:Hey guys thanks for catching up with me now you have both made the all star team before, where you expecting it this year?
WALLACE:(laughs) Well our team has had a terrific season so that helps but i don't think players, well me put as much emphasis on making the all star team as people do but im very happy to be part of this weekend again.
TRACEY:And you Devin?
HARRIS:Exactly what Gerald said but he must of known he was going to make the team (laughs) he is just having a fantastic year as for me i love playing for Charlotte but i must admit i wasnt expecting to make the team this year with all the good guards in the East at the moment but its definately very exciting we are going to get to play with some of the best players our game has to offer and i dont think anyone could pass on that specticle.
TRACEY:Now you guys are just being modest,Devin how has the trade to Charlotte been for you?
DEVIN:Perfect i love it here,at first i dont think people where sure but yeah im really enjoying playing we have a great young team and Larry Brown is the best coach especially as a point guard and i think its recently showed im my game.
TRACEY:Yes we notice your 3 pint shoot has been improved
DEVIN:Yeah thats one thing ive always wanted to elevate but yeah i love North Carolina, the city, the fans and this club has a real future ahead of it.
TRACEY:Now how far do you think this team can go?
WALLACE:We arent one of those teams that is just there to fill out the lower seeds of the post season we are here to make noise and suprise a lot of people.
TRACEY:Now Gerald as your the captain ill ask you this question, the Tyrus Thomas situation was about?
WALLACE:Look this is not a part of my job to deal with but i do know that we never wanted to let Tyrus go, but we saw it as the only way to get Devin. Around 2 weeks ago Tyrus demanded a trade and was fined as that is not allowed in the NBA. We where in negotiations with the Nets who would only deal with Thomas if we gave away a 1st round draft pick and atleast 1 expiring contract as they are clearly in rebuilding and from there we got Tryus and we are thrilled to have him back he makes our frontcourt better and can come in and play straight away rather then having to settle in which is positive. Its unusual but we think it will be affective.
TRACEY:Now you guys have the Lakers back in Charlotte so ill let you guys go im sure you will both play well next sunday
GERALD & DEVIN:Thankyou

HAWKS TO GOOD AT HOME,CRUSH CHARLOTTE
Charlotte 21 24 18 17 80
Atlanta 29 25 25 25 104

With Tyrus Thomas back in uniform a lot of fans thought this trip to Atlanta would not be so lop sided on the frontcourt side of things that is, those people where wrong. Jackson and Wallace's rare poor peformances where made worse as Josh Smith and Jamal Crawford took advantage of every opportunity. Devin Harris once again on song keeping his side in the game but it wasnt enough as 75 points in t3 qtrs by the Hawks could not be topped by the bobcats.
