I think you should add some photos from in-game. Otherwise, I love this association.

NBA RUMOUR MILL
Image
With the trade deadline just weeks away several rumours have popped up that Tyrus Thomas wants out of New Jersey and Charlotte who's front court has struggled this season would happily welcome him back. The Nets are apparently thinking over a deal that would send Diop,Najera and a 2nd round draft pick for Thomas.

KINGS RALLY TO BEAT BOBCATS
Charlotte 16 23 21 16 76
Sacramento 18 14 26 30 88

As the Bobcats begin their 6 game road trip the Kings where the first stop. Stephen Jackson finally showed dominance forthe first time this season with 12 points in the first. Tyreke Evans with 10 to give the Kings an 18-16 lead. Jackson continued in the 2nd with Diaw his sidekick orviding 6 points,1reb and 3 dimes. With Jackson,Harris and Diaw firing the Kings took a back seat in the 3rd before a late run sparked by Rick Hamilton had them behind by a single possesion early in the 4th. Things looked bad for the home team,Tyreke Evans seperated his shoulder and the Bobcats continued to slowly run away with the game. But again Hamilton with help from Big Ben Wallace and Rafer Alston, shut down Charlotte with no points from Harris,Diaw or Jax in the last and with a 30-16 qtr the Kings where able to sneak away with a win.

BOBCATS TO HOT FOR SUNS WIN BY 7
Charlotte 23 25 25 25 103

The Phoenix Suns who just acquired Richard Jefferson from the Spurs where at home trying to prove they are still a playoff team and to break their 10 game losing streak. The Bobcats 2nd game of their road trip saw them in a tight contest early as the Suns lead by Nash who had 6 in the first and J-Rich who had 12 had the home team up early in the 2nd qtr when once again Stephen Jackson found form and completely dominated the paint finishing with 20 first half points and a 1 point lead at the half. Kris Humphries sparked the Suns with 14pts and 8 reb and J-Rich with 3 late 3's to get the home team back within 10.Phoenix continued to play well on the offensive end. But with their lack of defense you just got the feeling it was always Charlottes game. Diaw finished with 17, Jax with 30 as they sent Phoenix to their 11th straight loss.

JACKSON REUNITED IN OAKLAND WITH 41 AS THE BOBCATS BEAT GOLDEN STATE
Charlotte 23 30 36 36 125
Golden State 26 25 25 36 112

Jax was back in town after demanding a trade and similiar to Lebron James playing in Cleveland the response was not positive. Boo'ed and taunted everytime the ball came into contact with him Jax quickly shut them up finishing the first qtr with 14pts,2ast,2stl.Harris with 5 dimes. Ellis and Curry proved they are a one of the dominant backcourt duo's in the game piling on 40 point in the 2nd and 3rd. But it wasn't enough in the penalty early in both the 3rd and the 4th Charlotte connected on 23/25 free throw attempts and Jax,Crash and Harris contributing 90 points no one was going to be them. Charlotte where to good for Golden State. Pavlovic twisting his ankle the only low point. Luckily he will be able to play through the injury.

NBA RUMOUR MILL
Image
After rumors of a possible Tyrus Thomas trade collapsed last week more Charlotte rumors have popped up this time involving Marc Gasol. Memphis who have 4 of their best players in Mayo,Gasol,Randolph and Conley with expiring contracts are currently 14th in the West are very unlikely to keep all those players in tact especially with Rudy Gay signing a big deal last offseason. With the trade deadline just over 2 weeks away a trade is very unlikely. The Grizzlies would be interested in Jackson,Wallace or Harris which Charlotte will not trade. But with Gasol's contract expiring Charlotte have already expressed that they are very interested in the 24 year old Centre. "Marc is a player that could make us better and one day be one of (if not) the best centres in the NBA." Michael Jordan had to say. Gasol dismissed rumours but he has expressed interest in playing for a competative team.
While a trade is unlikely, if Charlotte are willing to give Marc Gasol enough money and make noise in the playoffs there's a chance Gasol will be in a Bobcats uniform as early as next season.

HARRIS SETS NEW FRANCHISE RECORD WITH 9 THREE"S AS CHARLOTTE CRUISE PAST THE CLIPPERS
Charlotte 24 29 30 24 107
L.Angelas 25 17 28 23 93

As the Bobcats continued their West Coast tour Blake Griffen and Chris Kaman did not make it easy with the Bobcats only making 1 of their 1st 10 shots. The clippers out to a good start with Eric Gordon with 8 and Kaman with 10. Luckily Devin Harris rained on their parade...bigtime. 4/4 three's and 15 points in the first to get Charlotte within a basket at the break. Wallace and Jax continued on proving how good this backcourt is with a 29-7 second qtr, Blake Griffen the only reason LA still had a fighting chance with 20 points at the break. Both benches seemed to be struggling notably Sasha Pavlovic trying to play through an ankle injury. Devin Harris filled the 3 point specialist's shoes shooting 5/12 downtown shots in the 3rd to get his total to 9 and 43 points just 1 shy of another franchise record. In the end the Bobcats where able to run away with the game. With the All star game coming up Crash kept himself a notable favorite to make the team ending up with 18 pts and 7 reb and when Diaw finally found a way to control Griffen the game was all but over. Bobcats coming away with an easy win and their 3rd straight.

Wow, I believe Harris's 43 points in real life would be a franchise record as well as the 9 3's. IIRC, J-Rich had 42 in some game about two or three years ago, just beating out Wallace's 41. But then again, in this association, Wallace had a 44(?) point game.

Great win.

As for Gasol becoming a Bobcat, great idea, we need a big man. For Real.

It's hard enough when your best player (Deron Williams) has been in the rumor mill for the last couple of weeks, its harder when your second best player (Al Jefferson) is injured in the 1st qtr but whats worst is the fact that you are playing a team well and truely on the rise in the Charlotte Bobcats.Raja Bell's clutch performance against his old side in the 1st was shadowed by Diaw,Jackson and Wallace who again proved to be to good for the West. Harris piled up a total of 8 ast while Livingston was a spark off the bench with 10. Andrei Kirelenko who finished with 14 pts and 11 reb gave the home team a late chance with help from Williams who had 10 late pts. But the Bobcats no strangers to close games got through to their 4th consecutive win on the west coast.

With the Bobcats finally finishing their 6 game road trip they headed back East to take on Detroit. Racing out to a 30-25 point lead Jax was on his gmae again with 14 while Livingston who finished the game with 12 setting up 4 of those shots. But the Bobcats started slow out of the gates after that with a 1-9run to start the 2nd. The Pistons seemed to want it more Tayshaun Prince pulling down his 3000th rebound and T-Mac showing us glimpses of the T-Mac of old. Not even Wallace sparking his side could get his side up. Stuckey with an impressive 12/14 free throws in the last sealed the Bobcats fate as they could not make it 5/6 on the road. The Bobcats now play Miami,Dallas and Boston in Charlotte.

After a couple of tough losses the Bobcats seemed back on track after beating Boston for the third time. Wednesday the 9th of February just a week out from the trade deadline and the all star game the Bobcats travelled to "the middle" to take on a young Pacers team currently on the outside looking in desperate for a playoff berth. Charlotte absolutely unstoppable in the first Harris,Diaw,Jackson and Wallace the usual suspects all posting points to get the Bobcats out to a 30-14 qtr time lead. With the crowd getting behind them the Pacers where able to respond, Granger showed glimpes while Roy Hibbert proved the real difficulty almost unstoppable on the glass. With Harris playing the 1st qtr and a half, the in form Shaun Livingston came on and well and truely made the difference. The "Provokatuer" finishing at the last break with 18pts,3ast,3stl. The Pacers continued to hang on but in the end 5 points was the closest they ever got. Wallace and Jackson sealing the deal with an eye dropping ally-oop putting the nail in the coffin.

KEVIN:I think its interesting, now the fan votes don't seem to have affected as much as it has in previous years. But we will get to that a but later. First lets go through the teams without an all star this year. They are Philadelphia, Cleveland, New Jersey,Detroit, Toronto and Washinton any surprises their
CLARKE:Ok,firstly in the East-Philadelphia. No surprise their really Iggy has been out of the lineup for the majority of the year. I believe their 2nd best player this year in Eric Gordon will do well in the rookie game on the friday.
KEVIN: Yes the January East Rookie of the month has started to show promise.
CLARKE:Now with LBJ out of the Cavs Mo Williams hasnt been able to get his 2nd all star game. Devin Harris of course made the team but he was traded in December to Charlotte and Toronto and the Wizards don't have enough experience to have a player to this all star team. I must admit i was a bit disappointed that Blatche didn't make the team but he will have a solid career ahead of him. We all know there where some snubs in the East Kev (laughs) what do you reckon.
KEVIN:Well Gerald Wallace has had a great season and no doubt deserve to be their but he is starting at the 4? Now the fact that Bosh who is averaging 22 points and 9.5 rebounds doesn't even get a spot on the bench?
CLARKE:Josh Smith missing out again?
KEVIN:Maybe the voters just don't like him this is a guy who is as hardworking as anyone in the NBA on the defensive end. Maybe its the fact he's in Atlanta i don't know but something isn't right this guy should be a tleast a 1 time all star. Brooke Lopez is another surprise in being just about the only positive thing about this season for the Nets. But i think Bosh was the biggest snub in the East he should be on that team.
CLARKE:On the subject of Bosh and the Heat it is a big thing having two players starting in the all star game in James and Wade who are no strangers to the all star team but can we just touch on the fact that all 5 players in the starting 5 are from the South East division and a total of 7 out of 12 all together is that a surprise to you Kev?
KEVIN:No not really there are only 3 divisions in each conference and at the moment the south east is well and truely the best division in the NBA no doubt aout it those 5 players all deserve to be their i dont think it matters what div they are in.2 Heat,2 Bobcats, 2 Magic well done to those teams may i add. The bench is a bit of a shock though. Again Amare the only power forward? This time last year he was in the West, now im sure Bosh,Smith or as you said before could fill the spot of Carter or Granger.
CLARKE:Wait a minute we have seen the VC of old he's not going anywhere i do think Granger is lucky to be there though Devin Harris to. I think his team mate Stephen Jackson could be there they where very close in the voting all season long so thats very interesting. But we go through the same players every year it seems to be all star window closing on Jax now.
KEVIN:Andrew Bogut said his goal was to make an all star team and the number 1 draft pick from down under has done it
CLARKE:And he deserves it he is the best player on that Bucks team and one of the best centre's in the league well done to the young fella. Now Derrick Rose is a big story a candidate for the most improved player of the year the guys averaging 30.2 ppg for goodness sake and he is coming off the bench and although you would rather have Dwayne Wade who has been starting at the point for the majority of the year i think the NBA needs to pick the team in order of their season rather then their profile. No disrespect to Wade he definately deserves to be there.
KEVIN: You could also say that if Boozer and the Bulls didnt have that late star Boozer could make his first appearance as an East all star but we are running out of time in this conference. Now the West. Three Words NO DERRON WILLIAMS i mean what is that about?
CLARKE:This has been a weird season for a guy who i think is the best point guard in the league. Trade rumors and a real underperforming team in the Utah Jazz. His assists are down but his points are up. This man has been well and truely snubbed more so then Bosh and Smith and he should be writing to David Stern tonight asking for his paid trip to LA next week
KEVIN:(Laughs) Well done Clarke. Now 2 Nuggets, 2 Spurs we all know Pau Gasol has been out for the last 10 weeks but seriously Clark no Blazers? Brandon Roy,Lamarcus Alridge both having terrific seasons.
CLARKE:I disagree Kobe is always going to make the all star team and fill that guard postion, this year Manu was just that bit better and got the back up spot. As for Lamarcus his time will come.
KEVIN: im sorry but i disagree.
CLARKE: (laughs) I must admit i was also surprised firstly seeing Chauncey Billups in the team and then no Westbrook. But if i was Russell i wouldnt demand the plane ticket from David Stern, not this season at least. But Billups should cherish his it will be the last one he will get.
KEVIN:Moving on Al Jefferson,Monta Ellis,Tyreke Evans making their first appearances
CLARKE: Well Al is a surprise especially with Deron not in the team but with the Kings playing so well Tyreke deserves a spot and it was only a matter of time until Monta was there. On the other end Kobe and Duncan 13 appearance just amazing.
KEVIN:Amazing. Durant his 2nd. Like Lebron in the East he seems to be the cream of the crop the main name of this group.
CLARKE:Well they are the two MVP candidates and unless something wild happens it wont change.
KEVIN:Now we are running out of time. What conference is going to win?
CLARKE:Im looking forward to this game more than usual. I think Wade and Lebron will play well as they have got 40+ games together as an advantage. Kobe is going to play well in front of the home crowd and Howard will be well Howard but i do think Kaman and Jefferson can slow him down a little bit. But i think West mainly at the 4. They have Duncan and Nowitzki and who Amare to gaurd them? Wallace deserves to be there and have that start but i think with Duncan and Dirk as well as Durant the West will be hard to beat. And the Rookies over Sophomores in an upset.
KEVIN:Well East for me they won in Dallas last year and with Wade and Lebron on the Heat now i think they will put on a show for us. We will be back next week to wrap the game up and then in just over a month for the playoffs. We would love some feedback on this new feature, goodnight.
