If Thibodeau continues like this, he'll be worse than Mike Brown. At least Mike Brown knows to leave LeBron on the floor, even though that is the only offenseive play Mike Brown knows.

Disappointing loss, no question. Hats off indeed to the Knicks for their hot shooting but the bench was awful to begin the second quarter which went a long way in digging that huge hole they found themselves in and then to leave Rose, Noah and Deng on the bench when they had a chance to complete the comeback...baffling.

Steve Kerr praised Thibodeau for having confidence in the guys who made the comeback and I see his point but I disagree; I think in a situation like that you keep the momentum going by bringing in the starters, rested and with more talent (and it's not like they weren't doing good things while they were in the game) and let them take charge. Instead, you have Watson hitting the wall, Johnson thinking he's a star and the game slipping away. One might argue it's good for morale to let those guys know they'll have a chance to play but you know what would be even better for morale? A win, especially after the abysmal second quarter.

On the bright side, Rose's dunk was pretty awesome and the effort in the second half was admirable and what you want to see, even if the results weren't so good this time. Final score was at least respectable, even with the Knicks' hot shooting. If not for that ugly second quarter, they could have had this one. All in all, not the game I was hoping for, for the first Bulls game this season that's been televised here.

I would rather have this happen than have the starters worn out for the Boston game. I predict a close game against. boston

I'd rather they were victorious in a winnable game before a tough road game against the defending Eastern Conference Champions. Celtics currently up 49-38 at the half.

lol hello overreaction. they weren't going to beat the knicks. who cares if they were down by 9 with 3 minutes left. it's one thing to comeback by 20 against the Pistons. the Knicks were on fire from the perimeter and they have a beast downlow in Amar'e. just face it- a win wasn't going to happen. btw- does Thibbs get credit from you guys for keeping Deng on the bench the entire 4th qtr against the Pistons??

good game vs Celts. some questionable calls towards the end. Noah shouldn't be bringing the ball up in crunchtime.

Denver at home...

Nice win over the Nuggets,against an opponent who had Melo on fire.
Great defense at the last minute and nice to see that Bulls were great from the line when things mattered most.

Great to see them pick up the win, but glancing at the boxscores bench scoring still troubles me a little. They got the win so I guess ultimately it didn't matter in this one and all the starters were in double digits so they managed to get points up on the board but that was one of the things that killed them against the Knicks last week, the bench not being able to buy a basket in the second quarter. Hopefully Korver can at least average double digits off the bench, he's averaging 7.8 ppg on the season but was 1/5 against the Nuggets. At least they'll get some depth back when Boozer returns and Gibson goes back to the bench.

Denver's a good team. they were coming off a win dallas on the rooad. so yeh stop looking at the boxscores lol. just look at the final score. if you want to go further compare the fg and 3pt% from this game and last game ;)

Bulls were fortunate that Nene sat out most of the 4th. he was doing a lot of damage on both ends. it's always an adventure to see who's going to score when Rose is not on the floor

Seems the team is starting to heating up.
Shame they aren't playing earlier so I can watch a game here in Greece.
I would love to see the Bulls play in the early Sunday game(the ones NBA has on 2.00-5.00 PM ET every Sunday)

They have a noon game on Christmas, an afternoon one on New Years Eve, and then three more 1pm games in the new year including MLK Day and a pair of Sunday's.

Good win against the Wizards to make it three straight. I reckon they can make it four straight (and pick up their first road win of the season) with Houston hobbling, though I'd say the Spurs in San Antonio will be too tall an order.

the dreaded annual circus trip. starts with the texas triangle.

week1: Houston, Santonio, Dallas. (3 games in 4 nites)

then

Week 2: Lakers, Suns, Nuggets, Kings (4 games in 5 nites)

i say 2 wins. Rockets and Sacto.

could be 3 though. my guess is they get blown out by the Lakers. Thibs then rests the starters for the next game vs the suns and they steal one from them

Damn,the Texas triangle will be really tough to play.

But i think this will be the out come

Houston:Win(it's possible)
San Antonio:Loss
Dallas:Loss
Lakers:Losss
Suns:Close Loss(with a little more belief on the win than the other games though,Phoenix is worse than it used to be)
Nuggets:Loss
Kings:Win

I think the Bulls can come through against San Antonio, Houston, and Denver, possibly Phoenix(even though I like the Suns). Chicago is a clear winner against Sac-Town. Phoenix vs. Chicago is probably a game I'm going to watch.

Uh, no!

Houston = blowout win!
SA = Close and most likely a loss
DAL = loss
Lakers = loss
Suns = Win!
Nuggets = Win!
Kings = Close game, win

As i said I believe the game with the Suns will be the most closely contested game from those.
I think we can win the game if we play seriously.As I said ,Phoenix is worse than it used to be...

that Kings game is the 4th game in 5 nites. that's not a lock to win even if Sacto is crappy

They do indeed beat Houston and pick up their first road win. I don't think it's going out on a limb to suggest the streak ends tomorrow in San Antonio, but I won't be sorry to lose out on the point in the predictions thread if it doesn't.

Nice win over Houston. Getting on the Circus Trip with the right foot this time.
Rose was truly dominant and got some valuable points and the steal at the end,in order not to give a try to Houston's shooters for a tying shot.

Now onto San Antonio,this will be really tough game.Hopefully a win can come and continue this winning streak.
