Awesome. You should say in your press conference:

"I am taking my talents to the Big Apple."

Well, since Lebron didn't do that in this reality, that quote would not be very memorable. ;)

C: Travis Ward - 7 foot 1st overall draft pick from 2011 NBA Draft... runner up rookie of the year to Ricky Rubio
PF: Lamar Odom - one of the league leaders in rebounding
SF: Ron Artest - QB represent
SG: Marco Belinelli
PG: Sebastian Telfair - Led Knicks back to playoffs

Bench features Luis Scola (former Stealth)

My vision for New York would be a starting five of Rocky Akonnor (Stealth bench warmer, 7'3" beast), Odom, Artest, Ty, Bassy... Getting Ty would require me to send the Stealth a package of at least Ward, Belinelli, Scola ( at Scola) and a few picks to make it fair.

What Lamrock said. :)

I dunno... I need to weigh up - People want to see me win with Seattle versus People want to see me rebuild the Knicks.

Though I would like you to win a ring with Seattle, I really like the idea of moving on to another team, build a great squad and take revenge for those who didn't believed you that back in Seattle and win the ring before them. Maybe take Kidd as your assistant as well? You know we all want him to take a ring with your team.

Draft Lottery Goes Raptors’ Way

NEW YORK, May 18 (AP) – The Toronto Raptors were the biggest winners as they went to the top of the Draft Order and now have a chance to pick either Kentucky freshman Coby Clark or consensus College Player of the Year Sam Slater.

Slater may have been the leading scorer in the nation last season and led George Washington to win the NIT but that is pale in comparison to Clark leading the Wildcats to win the NCAA tourney. The title winning game included a monster 26 point, 16 rebound, 5 block game that has many pundits claiming that his number one selection has already been sealed. However, Slater has shown that he is more NBA ready on the workout trail and the 6’4” combo guard wants to make the top pick debate more of an argument than wishful thinking.

Regardless of who is picked first, the rest of the draft class is slated as being the weakest in recent history. Apart from two international prospects with considerable success at the pro level in Europe (Flo Ruf and Lucius Santos), the rest of the prospects are not seen as a bunch that will make an impact in the NBA.

“It will be interesting to see how good these guys,” one scout commented, “None of us are holding our breathes for anyone in this Draft. It’s sad to say but there are really any standouts apart from some of the top 10 (projected) guys.”

2013 Draft Order

Coby Clark Might End Chris Bosh Era

TORONTO, June 15 (AP) – There is a 7’1” big man in the upcoming NBA Draft drawing comparisons to former Minnesota TImberwolf, current Boston Celtic and future Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett. His name is Coby Clark and he is quickly becoming a household name in Toronto as the Raptors are expected to select him with the first overall draft pick.

Clark just finished his second workout with the holders of the first overall pick and the Raptors brass has come away excited with the prospects of adding the 19 year old Kentucky Wildcats star. “You can see why and how he led the Wildcats to an NCAA title,” a Raptors staffer said, “He’s very athletic. He beats you with that alone. He’s got good instinct on both ends of the court.”

Clark is a raw talent and will need help with his offensive game. He could become more effective if he developed a dependable jump shot but as the Raptors are enamoured with what they believe is a lot of potential to develop into something special. The team also invited Sam Slater to try out for the team and although he is the most NBA ready prospect, the Raptors believe Clark’s ceiling is a lot higher than Slater’s.

The pending arrival of Clark has also cast light on the team’s plans with All-Star Chris Bosh who is coming off a strong season averaging 26 points and 10 rebounds a game. Bosh, the subject of trade rumours for the past three to four seasons, might be heading off now that Toronto is set to acquire Clark. Even though a Clark-Bosh duo might be unstoppable, the Raptors seemed concerned that Bosh would not welcome another big man with Clark’s talent.

Finding a suitor for Bosh might be hard though as he has a reputation for coasting during games. His numbers are impressive but many league observers don’t rate him as one of the league’s premier players. Teams that have been said to be interested in Bosh’s services include Dallas, Houston, Cleveland, Miami, New Jersey and Seattle.

Apart from the Bosh talk, Clark’s potential Raptors teammates are already gushing with enthusiasm. Sixth man Chris Hova said, “This is exciting. I can’t wait to play with him (Clark). He is going to make the game a lot easier to play because I am sure he will get a lot of double teams. With Chris and him together, we could make it back to the playoffs.” Third overall pick from the 2011 Draft, Larry Williams, joked, “I’m glad that he’s saving me my starting spot from the other guy (Slater).”

If you can manage to send Lee and a couple reserves to Toronto for Bosh, you'd have a big 3 that's South Beach worthy. Kidd - Ty - Durant - Bosh - Bogut would be a pretty decent starting 5.

Yeah man. I'm a bit 50-50 on it atm.

Chris Bosh has a 17 million dollar contract. It's going to be really hard and will have to lose a lot to bring him to Seattle. Don't know if it would be worth it but you're right. Would be a trio rivaling the South Beach Big 3... If I don't lose Bogut, would be a Big 4 better than the Lakers Big 4 from 2004 because everyone is in their prime...

There's some interesting (story-wise. Don't know if they can play though...) prospects around that area. (Y)

Yeah, Chris Clark for Raptors please. I worked hard during offseason, Clark and Bosh will help me leading the way I guess.

I don't think you'll move on to NYC. Would be interesting though.
