Yeeeahhhhhhhh!!!Devin Harris!!!

But you shouldn't have put Derrick Brown in the D-League, you should have put Najera or Crittenton there instead. :shake:

BOBCATS.COM POLL
Who should Charlotte be starting at centre
a) Nazr Mohammed
b) Kwame Brown
c) Desanga Diop
d) They should trade for someone before the deadline.

Our reporter was able to catch up with Bobcats assistant coach and brother head coach of Larry Brown,Herb Brown on Thursday night.
hbrown_inside2_080707.gif

MIKE:Herb, firstly merry christmas and thanks for this interview during this crazy time of the year.
HERB:No problem Mike we've been lucky enough to have a 5 day break over christmas which come teams are lucky enough to have.
MIKE:Now this is your 3rd year as Charlottes assistant coach, how do you think this year is going for you?
HERB:Good we aren't at .500 but we will be soon. A couple more wins and we will more secure in the top 8.
MIKE:No doubt that Tuesdays loss to the Thunder will be a hot topic at the Christmas table with Larry.
HERB:(laughs) We will get a quite word in no doubt. We where confident on Tuesday leading at half time. We where able to get Gerald to shut to limit Kevin Durant to just 9 second half points, but that just shows you how good the thunder are. I think we and a lot of other East teams are very happy we only have to go against that team twice this season (laughs) But we have to move forward we have Detroit who really gave us a scare earlier in the season but we are confident we can give the good people of North Carolina a late christmas present (laughs)
MIKE:We will hold you to that now the signing of Sasha Pavlovic, possibly the signing of the season so far we hear that this was your work?
HERB:Well i dont know about that, we needed another a 3-point threat to come off the bench with Gerald Henderson and i think we have found that and his numbers prove why when we lossed Thomas, he was going to be our main guy coming off the bench. We like his personality and he wants to win as much as the guy starting a good pick up for us.
MIKE:Now while we are on the subject of transactions, Devin Harris how do you think thats going at the moment.
HERB:After losing Raymond it was always a big ask for DJ to fill his shoes especially as he's not the typical point guard to fit in to Larry's system. Devin is a guy that we have been scouting and talking to for quite a while now and i think people only took it serious when the 4 team Carmello Anthony trade came up. Me and Larry (especially) love this kid. I personally never thought he would live Dallas after they made the finals in 2006. But funny things happen in the NBA and once the Nets started to take the trade rumors seriously we knew there was a good chance of us landing him. So far its a big transition, like bringing in a new Qtr back. Devin loves to score and assist he is the perfect asset to Jack and Gerald. People will just have to be patient to see what a glove in hand fit this will be. We now have one of the strongest back courts in the league.
MIKE:As this time of the season can get crazy ill let you go. Thanks for your time
HERB:Merry Christmas Mike.

My answer is no, because there is actually a Big 4. Harris, Jackson, Wallace, Diaw.

Yeah the C position is really weak. I may try this for a couple of games but teams in the East like Orlando,Milwaukee,Boston and Atlanta i will get smashed with a "6'9" PF/SF. Desagna Diop did play really well against Golden State.

Diaw has enough versatility to play any position.

For those games I would start Mohammed or Diop, I'd lean toward Mohammed in real life, but Diop seems better in your association.

The Hornets got ripped off and I'm glad to see Dallas ship off Ajinca for Starbury!

I think you should at least give us the stats of the other team or give us a brief description of the game. See, LeBron could have scored 20 or 50 and we would know. I think all of us would like to know what happened to the opposing team.

gerald_wallace_stephen_jackson.jpg

After a big loss at the hands of the Heat, Charlotte travelled to the Target Centre in Minnesota. With Michael Beasley out with a sprained foot the Bobcats where clear favorites. But strong inside games from Kevin Love (12pts,8reb) and "X factor" Nikola Pekovic (17pts,12reb,3ast) had the T"Wolves up big at the Half. As usual Captain Gerald Wallace stepped up finishing with a double double with help from Boris Diaw. But after a 4th Qtr and several lead changes. Wesely Johnson was able to hit a game winning shot with 30 seconds on the clock. The Wolves D held up and where able to beat the Cats and keep their playoff hopes alive.

The Bobcats where back in North Carolina up against their South East rivals Washington. With the season series locked at 1-1 Charlotte who had won 3 of their last 4 home games where confident. After a 11-2 run the Bobcats where up by 14 at the first break. Wallace and Harris piled on 32 and 29 and not even the Great Wall could stop the Bobcats trailing by 19 points at the final break. The last qtr continued in the same fashion with the Charlotte bench all contributing to a 118-87 lead and helping get the Bobcats a win after 2 consecutive losses.
