Use the IFF Editor bro, it took me like 2 hrs to know how to install the files/import the files into the global.iff

Here is a tutorial for those who don't know how to use it :

1) Download the IFF Editor
2) Make sure you have the Bin Folder too
3) Copy and Paste the global.iff into the Bin Folder
4) Here's the tricky part, click and drag the global.iff file on-top of the Decompress file that is already in the Bin folder. A black box/screen will appear for a few seconds and 3 global_#.bin files will appear in the folder.
5) Open up the NBA 2K9 IFF Editor Beta9 and Open the original global.iff file that you copied and pasted in the Bin Folder.
6) Click the Sequence option and select the corresponding Sequence # related to the texture you want to install into the global.iff (ex: Sequence "181" for "texture181_black v2.png")
7) Drag the texture "texture181_black v2.png" into the IFF Editor on-top of the original texture (you should see the original texture picture in the IFF editor)
8) Close the IFF Editor and copy + paste the global.iff and the other 3 global_#.bin files back into the 2K11 graphics folder where you first got it.
9) Load up the game and you will see the new textures

The socks were made like that by 2k to have a folding effect

yeah I know, but I feel the no crease look is more accurate. I thought 2k10 had it right but it kinda irked me to see the folded socks in 2k11. It's no biggie, but just would like to see a potential fix is all.

Ya I had the same problem with ModTool, that's why I use the IFF Editor instead. But someone said the problem is that there is a corrupt file in your java. So try reinstalling Java and opening the file again.
