I figured out how to not have the backwards name bug...The OP's way doesn't work right.
Just go to edit player, open the mp cyberface program remove all the default MJ png numbers, put your png# in the 2nd slot, hit f2, tab back in save player, done.

This also works for created players, use the same above method, you will have the CF and Portrait of his face.

The "ALL Players' PNG" is a big help. Admins should sticky this imo.

Is the virus a false positive and does the png finder also indicate created players PNG aswell?


Edit: Well it's a false postive. And it does find created player PNGs kinda. It says 3030 and -1. I can't find neither of these pngs in my 2k11 folder though. Any help?

created players dont have one certain png number but u can create one tho im working on mines

EDIT: ok i got it, sort of.. here's what i did..

first i chose a .iff i want to look like my player (i didnt actually look for someone i look like, i just chose bruce bowen for no reason at all lol).. so what you do is copy paste it right inside your 2k install folder, so after that you should have two copies of your .iff, for mine i now have "0070.iff" and "0070.iff - copy"..

you should then edit "0070.iff - copy" to whatever number you want, for mine i changed it to "0019.iff".. so now i have a 0019.iff in the 2k install folder..

now go to your my player, go to edit my player.. open the MP cyberface .exe file, and then delete all the numbers in the boxes.. next i put in 0019 into all 3 boxes then click F1, then F2, then F3..

but i think one of them switches your name and surname around, and dwpshacktown said you actually only need to put your iff number into the 2nd one and hit F2.. so i did that after i did the F1 F2 F3 because it did switch my name around when i tried to play a game..

that should be it.. not sure if that's the correct method, but that's what i got from trying.. if there's something wrong with my explanation please do correct me..

question though.. how do i edit the face portraits? is there a tool for that? thanks!

i got the png finder tool to work once..
after that i keep getting an error.. but the error is in chinese and cant read it..
neone else getting this?

first i download nba2k mod tools
download koresh nik monta elis and deron williams iff
open mod tools open monta ellis iff and find his arms textures and hit exportres
then open deron williams iff and find his face files and hit exportres
use players png to get demarre carroll iff number i don't know it off the top and make sure u have 2 copyies of demarre carrol iff
open carrol iff and import monta ellis arms and deron williams face to his iff and rename the iff file like 1891.iff and place in nba2k11 folder
and use to custom my player to assign iff 1891 to your player


u might have to edit the arms and face textures to get the skin tones to match
