Postby GodSonInfinite on Sat Dec 14, 2002 3:59 pm

hey guys...i just got a pretty decent deal so i ordered a geforce mx 440 w/8x agp and 128 mb ddr for like 125 bones...but after doing that, i soon realized that when it comes to hardware, windows xp can be pretty picky...i was wondering if anyone had this card and also had xp or if anyone knew of a site where i could check if my new hardware is compatible with xp or not...i would appreciate it if you guys got back to me as soon as possible...thanks guys

not to crap on the card that you got, but an MX isnt that great. you should definitely consider a Geforce 4 ti 4200 or 4400 which are vastly superior.

plus your card costs about $80, nowhere near $125. I would return your card if I was you and pick up a Geforce 4 4200 or even a ATI Radeon 9000.
