With the fact that he averages less than a steal and a block a game, he's not a defender. On offense though, he's very effective. (Y)

I would love to see DeRozan as your if not primary secondary offensive option, so don't trade him. Unless if is needed.

Barbosa should get more touches on offense. I think he's the best the Raps have. Bustnani's been real shit in the preseason

Martti., To be fair, I play at a far slower pace than Nellie's Warriors. Would love to see DeMar DeVelop into that though.

Axel., Yeah, it was my first game playing with 12 minute quarters so I really wanted to win it. Was really on the edge of my seat.

Houndy, On pace for 15 wins!

Clutch, Love to hate Spaggette. Had a hideous game, but is extremely effective. Hasn't been lucky enough to play on good teams, but he's an efficient fringe all-star. That said, if he wasn't on the Warriors this last season, they may have actually gotten a worthwhile player in the draft...

Justine., Yeah no trade plans for any players yet.

john26, He's the team's second leading scorer with like 15 PPG off the bench. Just haven't discussed him much.

How about the stamina of your players playing 12 mins quarter. At durability 50 my player do never get tired ... I had to tone it down to 22 ... anybody experiencing the same prob ?

Yeah, after a full quarter of play, most player's staminas are still at 90-95. Been thinking of fixing that.

Nothing could stop Kleiza - not even impalement!

Against all odds, our Raptors have done the unthinkable: defeated a +.500 team! Indeed, the Wizards win launched perhaps the most inspired stretch of Raptors basketball in years, as we have now won 4 of our last 7 games, to put us at a cool mark of 5-12! Good for 27th in the league. Take that Philadelphia, New Orleans and Memphis!

We also actually played some decent basketball. A late run against the conference champion Celtics fell just a point short. However, we made up for it by annihilating the Sixers. After losing to Boston by 24, we stunned the then 11-6 Hawks, overcoming a 39 point game from Joe Johnson to hold them off 114-109 in the thrilling final game of the month. Jay can stay... for now.

Leading the way, surprisingly, has been An_rea Bargnani. Bargs hasn't exactly been efficient, shooting only 43% from the field (he's 7 feet tall, mind you), but he's shouldered the load, averaging around 18 points and 8.4 boards per game. Barbosa's also been a gem off the bench. Our guard rotation of Jose, Jack, DeRozan and Barbosa has been very solid. Unfortunately, our frontcourt hasn't.

Besides Bargs, nobody has stepped up. Amir fouls more than ever, and has been in a slump offensively. Reggie Evans has the offensive skills of a 10 year old. David Andersen just sucks. For some reason, Triano hasn't been playing Ed. May need to talk to him about that...

Can't say I expect this .571 play to continue. We were very lucky to play Philly twice in the span of a week. Even with the solid stretch of play, Ken Chalmers wrote a damning article called "The Craptors' Season Is Already Over".

Image Image
After the 2010 finals, its odd to see him hitting shots. | SHAQ ATTAQ!!! (we really should have tried to sign him)

Image Image
No way, Jose. | Speaking of bad teams...

Also, the Thunder have suffered an extremely disappointing start to the season, and have made the mistake of trading for Monta Ellis.

Thunder Blog wrote:Image

Thunder Trade James Harden, Morris Peterson for Monta Ellis

Monta was turrible last season. The Thunder have suffered a myriad of injuries, being without many players, including Kevin Durant, for varying periods of time. The Blunder are 5-12, but I think its a bit much to bite the bullet so fast. I simply don't see how a Westbrook-Ellis-Durant backcourt will work. I've certainly been surprised before though (Kaman an all-star? WHAT.)

That's all for now. Time to drink!

Sam. Presti. WTF? Monta? :(

I played a Spurs-C's game yesterday and won with a buzzer-beater by Manu, but Shaq burned me for a vintage 23 & 17 performance. :cheeky: KG was a monster too, gotta edit that Post Players slider...

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of it either. Not too unreasonable though. With KD in and out of the lineup, the Thunder have found themselves tied with the lowly Craptors and needed to do something, while the Warriors just wanted to get rid of Moped and his contract.

Will look into changing my recaps. Its lower maintenance, but I'm not proud of them.

Still hoping you still turn the season around.

Yeha that Monta deal is the opposite of what Presti should be doing.

Congrats on the wins. BTW im not ripping Maggette hard, I just had even higher hopes for DeRozan's future, a more rounded player perhaps. Still gotta love Maggettes ability at getting to the line.

Against all the other opinions I think the deal is not that bad for the Thunder. Ellis is a ballhog, yes, but he's also a skilled scorer and will be an upgrade offensively as long as he does not take away positions from Durant. Giving up Harden is not that bad and it's realistic since they are struggling.

who knew Horford had mutant phasing abilities!? lucky for Klieza he's no android or he'd be burnt toast

Harden/Mo-Pete for Ellis is solid for both teams; when he wants to, Ellis has insane ability penetrate/break down the D and set up guys for the uncontested shot... only thing is he doesn't WANT to as often as he should :?

dare, Hell yes. Following in the footsteps of Kaman and Magloire!

dei., Haha, hard to believe we're ranked 30 in defense despite gallant efforts like that :P

Mark., Pretty turrible but for a move the CPU made, fairly reasonable.

hova-, Yeah. I'd probably give OKC a C- and Golden State a B+ for it.

The X, Yeah, we're basically contenders now.

Clutch, So glad Monta doesn't play for Portland. Such a frustrating player. Sometimes he makes plays where you're just "crash your moped and die!"

shadowGrinch, Yeah, as per new team policy they are all require to wear special Air Jordans.
