Critical Graphics Update for New NBA 2k11 owners

It looks great, though I don't understand how "global" global.iff is. So what happens is that for all this great-looking lighting to work, we need courts as well?

we need court for the floor reflection, and for lighting and shadow effect we need the global, and he also does something with the jersey to have it's shadow effect.

The problem with that is it's going to overwrite any other patches.

Or we can manually add the values to the downloaded jersey/court patches so please give us a tutorial so we can help in making the patches better XD

Exactly. Celtic's court looks cool, reflections are acceptable and quite "realistic" there whereas Staples Centers's court is way too shiny. This is a fact. Anyway, thanks for a great mod, 'self shadows' are extremely good and please do not make us wait long for the full release .

I found a small bug in your global may not be that big of a deal, but I noticed it when I tried to start another my player..

Basically the skin tones get to dark for legs/arms and your face will be lighter and will not match your skin color...Anyone else notice this?

When you can live with barely reflections on the Court then is this not a problem. I can live with it .

this patch is amazing but i have 2 litte problems: there is a little sound problem in the menu: instead of hearing a the "tic" when i move the cursor i hear a strange sound. Another problem is that when i pause the game the menu are very dark. If i remove the patched files, restoring the original game, the problems disappear...
