I'm pondering whether I should get NBA 2K11 or use TUP 11 (played up to TUP 09 and loved it!). It all depends if my laptop can handle NBA 2K11 but I have a question.

If I was able to run TUP 09 at maximum setting, would I be able to do the same for TUP 11?

So TUP11 is going to have:2x jerseys/half-resolution courts and cf's
Which would mean it will reduce the number of crashes or possibly be crash-free? That will be sweet.I cant wait for the release guys.
I dont know how you guys have the patience to do this. I know i dont.I will try to start patching one day when i have the patience.

Yes. TUP doesn't change the requirements for NBA Live 08, which are far exceeded by your specs anyway. You don't need to worry about that.

i havent heard anything about this being the last year.but personally, i wanted to teach one of you guys all of the things i do...kind of like handing down the knowledge. just in case i decide to take a break from patching, this MOD wont become lost without me. things in RL are getting a little bit more complex/busy and i want to try to just play the game (like my dynasty) for a while rather than just patching it. also i hate to say it...but 2k11 sounds very interesting

George7 how 2k11 on pc anyways? is there a good online play mode? if i get it, we should definitely play against each other! bulls vs clippers

While things can certainly change, seeing as he's one of the people co-ordinating the mod, I think it's fair to say at this time TUP 11 isn't intended to be the last mod for NBA Live 08. Let's not perpetuate rumours and put words in each other's mouths.

I said final weeks"before the release" !!
Didn't meant anything about this being the final year,and i haven't even talked with anyone about it!

But honestly,i don't know about next year.School gets really tough,i'm just 2 years before university induction exams,my basketball team is getting more and more demanding,pretty tired with live 08(even though i love these series,playing the same game for 3,now going to 4 years,it's pretty long time,and considering it;s the same with previous lives...),i really don't know.It will be hard for sure to be that active though.

If KJ stops as well,we should find one responsible for the release and organisation of the mod.

But those are a big IF so far

i have an idea though and will tell it to KJ for the future of TUP

@KidJustin,2k11 is great!Just love it!About online:There are some problems with 2k servers from time to time,but all ok.I haven't played though more than 1-2 games.Just stuck with Jordan Challenges and NBA Today!
