Don't imagine we'll be seeing Thabust and Lin in the rookie game this year.
Hope DeRozan wins the Dunk contest.

So you're continuing this now?
Good to see Thabeet and DeRozan in the Rookie-Sophomore game.

Simming out the season, but covering the all-star weekend, and, on the off chance I make the playoffs, playing them in 2K11.

haven't checked this for a while.. I'm sorry that you're ending this, but just like Sit I think you should take a new team, if you start a new dynasty

and trade for Beans

Russell and Kevin win

Bad timing with the Association of the Year voting, and Valor's also ending, but its time to be honest and announce that this association is finished. After playing 2K11, I really don't see myself ever playing 2K10 again. This wasn't all for naught though, as I had a lot of fun making this, and will have a lot of recap styles and templates from this to import into whatever my next one may be. (don't be too surprised/disappointed if its a reboot of this)
Despite it only going half a season, this was a huge success. I've made several cheesy "thank you" posts in dynasties/milestones past, so I'll just be quick. Thanks Sit, for being a top follower and both inspiring me and keeping this section alive. Many thanks to Valor, Thierry, Martti and others for helping to keep both this story and this niche hobby alive. Thanks to The X for some great advice back in the day, and for making the 'Cats dynasty that made me join this site. Major props to Jae for the sig. Finally, thank you Axel, newc, Zanshadowgrin, TheMC5, Carter, -hova, and everybody else who's been following this. Couldn't have done it without you.
And to the NLSC classes of 2011 and 2012, your rookies will be ported to my next story. Lamrock out.

It was definitely fun following this, and before this, we hardly ever communicated with each other here at the NLSC.
I'm sure your 2K11 association will be just as good as this... or better.

Whether you change teams or not, I'll be following your next story.

Not surprised, 2k10 just can't match 2k11. Looking forward to the next one

Looking forward to your next story, I'm sure, that will also pan out successful like this.

L-Train... 1. Sit is
the top follower
2. Thanks for retiring, makes me chances higher for a win 3. 2k11 kicks 2k10's butt so good stuff... I'm kidding man.

Very much enjoyed this one but will enjoy your next one more. And you know which team I want you to control next season!

Too bad about it ending, your stories are always good and fun so looking forward to your next one when i return. (and I may very well continue mine, but that will again depend on how good 2k11 really is

)
See you in a month Lamrock

Can't wait what you have in mind for us next. I'm guessing wither the T-Wolves, Clippers, Raptors or Cavs.. (Or some other team that sucks)
Fri Oct 08, 2010 3:32 am
Sucks that this one's ending but your 2k11 story will surely top it
Fri Oct 08, 2010 3:41 am
At least this thing reached the All-Star weekend, unlike some association serial killers that we all know.
And I get to see the Mr. O'Greene make Sit his bitch one-on-one!

Thanks guys. As you can see, I'm not done with these Raps yet, and will be making a new and (hopefully) improved Raps association soon. 2K11's gameplay has really won me over (even with its flaws), and the Real Player FG% feature has made playing with Bargnani much funner.
I will be using their current rosters however, so this one will be somewhat fresh. (Sorry to all the Shaq, Diaw and Thabeet fans!)

can't wait for the next one.
Being following this for a long time and enjoyed it greatly!

Can't wait

Looking forward to the 2k11 one. Stick it out with the Raptors man, i think it will be really interesting. Make Linas a star!!

No Shaq? Well fuck you, then.
Jesting aside, I'm stoked to see what you do with 2k11. This was a great dynasty (actually got my vote for dynasty of the year), so I'll be checking up on the new one for sure.
You gonna post the simmed results at all?
Sat Oct 09, 2010 7:35 am
Cheers, man. Flattered by the praise - I really liked your Monarchs one. Gonna miss the big fossil, but its good to be back with the cap-fucked, 30th-best rated roster.
If there's demand, I'll post the sim results.
Sun Jan 09, 2011 5:20 pm
Jesus, forgot how much effort I put into this thing. Anyone interested how the rest of the season panned out for the Big Fossil and the Craps?
Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:02 pm
More interested in Saur Losers II. If the Craptors repeat again or if Sit starts acting like a prima donna (giving O'Greene a reason to punch him in the face) and signs with another team once his rookie contract is done.

I feel like doing an Epilogue to this, since it would have been my best story had I not finished it, and I had a trilogy going. Expect the sim results, and the demise of Liam Washburn soon.

Awesome!
