Brian Shaw, Kurt Rambis and Byron Scott's names have been thrown around. I can't remember if Rambis and Scott have clauses to get them out of their contracts to coach the Lakers. I think I read it somewhere but very unsure. However, I can see Jax being back if he can coach LA to a three-peat... I think he'd want to go for four in a row before he calls it a day as that's something he has not achieved so far in his wonderful coaching career.

Byron Scott has that clause. Dunno about Rambis.

When Rambis signed for Wolves, I think it was rumored he had a clause to similar effect put in.
Well, I'm thinking Scott will be a Lakers coach one day... however, it might not be right away.
Anyways, anyone got any predictions on wins for the Lakers this season? I'm going very optimistic with 65.
Mon Sep 27, 2010 12:50 am
I'll say 56.
Mon Sep 27, 2010 4:24 am
I will be optimistic and say around 59-62. Many western foes have declined.
Mon Sep 27, 2010 4:44 am
I'd say 60 - best in the West, but not in the league (Either Orlando, Miami or Boston will win more).
Mon Sep 27, 2010 5:00 am
The Celtics won't have a record better than the Lakers. Boston will coast the regular season. That's what old people do.
Mon Sep 27, 2010 10:43 am
I think the 55-60 range again. I'll say 57.

it really angers me that this thread has so many replies. just goes to show how many laker loving idiots are out there

Hey old man. Look at my Kobe sig. Imagine him thinking what you just posted...
"Bitch please."
That's right. Bitch.

Perhaps, but it also shows that you and JaoSming have to lift your game to keep a Celtics thread alive, like a few of us have done with the Bulls thread.

I'll go with you on that. Tied with Dallas for the #1 seed.

Gud gosh. That shadowgrin's sig is a multi tasking and bitch slapping almost everyone. Definite no respect for the chosen one and elderly folks. +1 hate level for Kobe and grin.

Celtics' players are walking corpes with avg age of 80. Funny how even a thread can't stay alive now.
Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:44 pm
I think I do recall there being a Boston Celtics thread. Time for Jao and Sauru to resurrect it!

I mean, even the Knicks thread is thriving and still alive despite their team's ineptness, Isaiah and Starbury/Vaseline!

When Kobe retires, can you think of any player(overseas or not) or any prospect college player who his playing style closely resembles Kobe's? And can the Lakers get him after Kobe is gone?

Also funny how the Celtics roster have a combined ring total of 10 while the Heat have 3.

How do you guys understand what he says with those cocks in his mouth?
Tue Sep 28, 2010 10:48 pm
When it's bukkake time for him, the cocks are out of his mouth and he can be understood clearly.

I don't know why the media makes a big deal out of this. Of course Kobe is going to pick himself. The good thing about that is how he complimented LeBon's game and also made a subtle zing at himself for being a ballhog as one-one-one is his (Kobe's) thing.

Yesterday was Ron Artest day in Vegas.

Forgot to post on the actual day haha
Fri Oct 15, 2010 6:58 pm
If artest was to receive the key to any city, might as well be Las Vegas. Everybody loves a winner.

It is interesting how the way people look at artest has changed. It used to be that Artest was plain loco, crazy SOB. Now everybody looks at Artest as the champion of people with mental illness.
It is amazing how many nut jobs are on the Lakers team, and PJ, the zen master nut job can keep it all together. That's why I love them Lakers.

haha.
PJ - Zen master nut job
Artest - classic ghetto nut job
Kobe - Autistic (self worshipping) nut case
Sasha - Euro retard
Barnes - (accused) woman beating nut case
Odom - stoner nut case
#1 fan Jack Nicholson - Academy Award™ winning runaway nut job

That word? I do not think it means what you think it means.

Bruce, I think that a lot of people still think of Ron as a crazy son of a bitch/nut case. That's the reason why I like him. It's good to have a character like him. Nothing wrong with who he is either.
