If you're not being paid under the table, make sure you get paid what you're being owed.
Pretty sure Fair Work Australia can help with that stuff if the company is not forthright with payments.

Depending what industry, I'd hit up the union first.

And employers prohibit their people from joining unions.

You don't need to be with the union to acquire their services. :)

My experience is that unions love any opportunity to go off at employers.

I can definitely empathise. I've been in quite a lot of pain this week, went to the dentist today and turns out I had an abscess so I ended up getting the tooth pulled...well, part of it. There's still a bit below the gum that they'll hopefully be able to remove next week in the chair, once the antibiotics have cleared up the infection. Not fun but hopefully on the mend, hope you can get yours sorted out soon.

I had all three of my wisdom teeth pulled nearly a decade ago.

I can no longer watch Major Payne because of it.

Not that I'm regretting that outcome.

I am on amoxicillin for two abcesses and had a root canal yesterday. Everyone I know gets their teeth pulled, but I get root canals and crowns and a hefty bill.

I didn't really have a choice with this particular tooth, the prognosis for a root canal wasn't great.

Not really a shocker, but it turns out I need surgery so I'm getting that fucking tooth pulled on Saturday, and they might pull one or two others that may not have any enough space to fully come out.
And since I don't have any insurance here and don't feel like paying thousands of dollars for this, I'm doing it south of the border. Gonna be an awesome weekend :?

Last week the school started. But mine is a boarding school. I go to school at Sunday night and go to home at Friday noon. It's my 5th year at there.

I was about to play my first game for this season yesterday with the youth team,we've done the pre-game practice and all and minutes before the game we were informed that the opposing team had stuck in a communist rally!!!!Damn!
We won the game 20-0 though as they were listed as a "no show" (just like our first game when the other team couldn't play) and we're on the first position, with 2 wins in 2 games and a 40-0 scoring diff. without playing a game!!
I want to play a damn game for god's sake!!!!We're going to advance to the 1st division, without playing a single game!!!

That sucks, sorry to hear it man. I'm still hoping they can get the last little bit out in the chair, much cheaper.
