no because Salmons went back to shit since he's only good when he gets traded and Miller became useless

last year's Bulls were the Blazers lite considering the amount of injuries they had lol

Something the Bucks will have to look out for, especially since they went ahead and gave him a five year deal.

That's why I would've let him walk, or given him no more than 3 at MLE. I think Carlos Delfino is more important to Bucks, especially with Maggette now in town.

Bulls are still pursuing Rudy Fernandez.

One source with knowledge of the Bulls' thinking told ESPN.com that the club has not abandoned hope of trading for Portland's Rudy Fernandez, who has been made available by the Trail Blazers. The Bulls and Blazers have discussed a deal that would send Fernandez to Chicago, but it's believed that Portland continues to hold out for more than a future first-round pick in return for the Spaniard.

Great deal if they can get him for a pick, but seems Portland isn't that desperate to send him on his way so they're probably out of luck there.

It will be good if Bulls sign Fernandez.

He's not a free agent. They're trying to trade for him.

lol this came up a month ago and it's still the same shit

Portland's new GM has to show some balls and make his 1st trade already. Ru-fer's not coming back

what a stupid idea!
Carmelo Anthony(notes) has made it clear that he wouldn't mind playing for a team other than the Denver Nuggets this season and he may get his wish. The Chicago Bulls are interested in trading for Anthony, according to ESPN Chicago.

The site's source says that the team is holding internal discussions as to whether the Bulls would allow Joakim Noah(notes) to be part of any deal. ESPN notes that no decision has been made on that discussion yet, but another source tells the site that there is no way Noah will be traded for Anthony.

Rumor had it that the Bulls would include forward Luol Deng(notes) in any deal for Anthony, but ESPN reports that the Nuggets "are leery" of Deng's six-year, $71 million contract. He's only two years into it.

ESPN also reports that Noah and the Bulls have been working on a five-year extension that will be signed by Halloween.

But since the subject's been raised here, it's only a stupid idea if they end up trading Noah. If it's Deng and Gibson with Johnson thrown in as filler, it's a deal worth making.

What!?!?!?!?!

Trade Noah and get Anthony, have a huuuuuge gap in the C position, and keep Deng's huge contract as well??
How two SF starters can play on the same team?Maybe getting Nene as well?

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Thu Sep 16, 2010 12:23 am

Deng would still be included in the deal, but shedding Deng's contract isn't worth giving up Noah unless Nene is coming the other way and that's doubtful.

There was talk of this being a multi-team trade. Is that still the case?

I believe that's still one of the rumoured scenarios.

Maybe my Bobcats could get a point guard out of it?

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Probably not.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

Fri Sep 17, 2010 12:29 pm

As I mentioned in the Melo thread, seems that's not happening as the Bulls aren't willing to part with Noah. I think that's for the best, like I said in the other thread I'd still pull the trigger on Deng/Gibson/Johnson for Melo but looks like that's not a realistic scenario.

First championship since 1998. Calling it now.

Re: Chicago Bulls Thread

And without giving up Joakim Noah or Taj Gibson! The Carmelo Anthony talk is just a waste of time.
