I like the third option for the Memphis, Wizards will get 3 good role players.

John Wall+Kirk Hinrich <-> Andrew Bynum+Rookie

Definitely the most realistic trade (Y)

Wall to OKC for Westbrook and Maynor/Ibaka? Would love to see a Durant-Wall duo in action. :)

Durant is a Clipper...Carmelo is in OKC :wink:

also if i dbf edit a trade...i needs to be balanced...i get errors when i do a trade that is a 2-1

...because the extra player i remove from that team...the dynasty will still think that player's spot is filled....meaning if i take 2 players from a team that originally had 15 players...and after the trade it has 14...if that team makes a trade or signs a FA because it says on the screen there is 1 roster spot...it will crash because the database will still be thinking there are 15 players meaning that signing or trade puts them over the max roster limit...the only problem i end up with a balanced dbf trade is the player development page doesnt transfer over to the correct player...no big deal though

you wont see that duo in OKC because KD is already at LAC in this dynasty..

Oh right I forgot you got Durant. :doh:

And I had the same thing when I did my Amar'e and Boozer trades, all trades most be 1-1, 2-2 etc.

Wall+Seraphin (If he's there) for Harris+Morrow ?

i was hoping Washington doesn't pick up a starting quality PG...or else they will have the same problem as Wall-Arenas...if that trade went down (which i do like though, i think its a good/fair trade) Harris' season would go down the dumps because of Arenas

my suggested trades are here: viewtopic.php?f=73&t=74578&start=300#p1255291
they involve teams that could use and upgrade at PG...and involve mainly bigs (Washington's weak spot + serviceable players)

Don't trade Wall to the lakers, the're already title a contender team.. put Wall to a team which need to improve, teams at the bottom of the standings.

besides, I don't like lakers! :lol: and acquiring Wall will give another bright future for the lakers.

lakers are 5-5, 3rd in the pacific division, and struggling with a 3 game losing streak....it will be a tough fight for them to make it in the playoffs if they keep that up

The game crashes if the team is over 15? That doesn't to me when I dbf trade, the team will automatically waive the player with the lowest rating.

so i am torn here...

i tested some trades..simmed a month..this is what i got:

transaction: No Trade, Arenas SG/SG, before Christmas signed
result: didn't sign Christmas anymore
Wall's stats: stayed the same, slight increase in PPG
Arenas: continued to dominate the game
Team: lost more games, was in playoff picture...but now not

transaction: Wall+McGee+Cook <-> Gasol+Allen+Arthur (Memphis)
result: Randolph, Gay, Mayo, Wall, Conley (off the bench) almost all of them scored double digits in each game
Wall's stats: increased in PPG and APG
Team: started hot with 4W but ended with 5L streaks...was a surprise team now barely still in playoff picture

transaction: Wall+Hinrich <-> Bynum+Walton (Lakers)
result: *with artest injured, Barnes starts at SF
Wall's stats: increased in PPG and APG..meshd well with Kobe
Team: after struggling at .500, now a winning record and back in playoff picture

transaction: Arenas+Seraphin <-> Bynum+Walton (Lakers)
result:
Wall's stats: minutes were sometimes inconsistent, but overall stats GREATLY increased across the board
Team: ended with a losing streak, but still at .500 and barely in playoff picture
Arenas stats: stayed the same...but some games he took over the game instead of Kobe (but Kobe's stats stayed)
Lakers: ended with a winning streak, but still at .500...stronger playoff position now

transaction: Arenas <-> Randolph (Memphis)
results:
Wall's stats: increased significantly in PPG and APG
Team: still at .500...Randolph is the leader of the team though, not Wall
Arenas stats: GREATLY increased...30-9 (points-assists)
Memhis: strong playoff position and winning record...Arenas dominated even against the Heat...but still had good stats coming from Mayo and Gay

still not sure what to do...but one of those PG is going to be out of Washington

suggestions? which move will make league more competative

Wall+Hinrich for Bynum+Walton sucks for the Wizards. They don't need Walton, because they have Howard and Thornton. Bynum would be an upgrade over McGee, but the Lakers would be instant title front-runnners IMO. Their weakest pos is PG and now they'll get a potential All-Star, while giving up Bynum and Walton's crappy contract.

I'd do the last one, so Memphis could be a young, run-n-gun team with Wall-Mayo-Gay in the backcourt.

Washington has granted the request of their young number 1 pick from the draft as he is heading west to join a team of O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, and Zach Randolph in Memphis.

Trade rumors started as soon as Wall's client, Dan Fegan, reported to the club that he was not happy about losing his starting position. It was the choice of Coach Flip Saunders to utilize and maximize the abilities of Gilbert Arenas, who has emerged as a dominate force for the .500 Washington Wizards rather than allow rookie John Wall to mold his own image. The power struggle between the two guards started early in the season, from the very first game where Wall's debut of only 7 points was spoiled because of Arenas' 33 point game to edge the Magic by a single bucket.

Speculations believe that it was Wizards' President and GM Ernie Grunfeld who made the final decision on who should lead the backcourt in Washington. Possibly because Grunfeld had a hand in re-signing Arenas to a 6-year $111 million contract back in the summer of 2008, despite Arenas' recent knee injury and didn't want to go back on his move.

On the bright side, Arenas is now given full control in Washington and finally has a credible big to play with in Marc Gasol. Tony Allen will bring playoff experience and defense to the club, especially at the SG position, which is currently being filled by an undrafted rookie. Darrell Arthur is young and big, he should help in the rotation after falling out of favor in Memphis after some injuries and the emergence of other bigs on that roster. Arthur is accustom to trades since he was drafted/traded to 3 different teams on his draft night.

The Wall-Mayo-Gay trio along with a veteran in Randolph will match up well in the west, especially against the top team Los Angeles Clippers and their own Gordon-Durant-Griffin trio with veteran Baron Davis. Now that there is no longer any Gasol's in Memphis anymore, it is time for last years 2nd overall pick in the draft, Hasheem Thabeet to shine as he is thrown into the starting lineup. McGee, who himself was forced into the starting lineup in Washington last year will have the job of backing up Thabeet. Cook finds himself on his 3rd team in this early season.

Wall and his teammates are currently flying to Memphis and get in a day of practice as he is expected to make his Grizzlies debut against his former team, the Washington Wizards the next day.
