Mo-Pete, nice. (Y) But you just can't trade Salim man, it's like me trading Manu.

Yeah but unlike you Lamrock will not abandon the story even with the trade.

Too bad you traded Kleiza, he's almost as cool as Biedrins :D

shadowgrin, It's pretty tempting. After seeing only 70% or so approval from the trade, the Thierry in me wants to unplug my Xbox while the game is saving. Must... resist...

megarover, :headbang: So epic.

Sit, Because getting Mo Pete is a better idea than getting AI!

Thierry., Was sad to see him go, but I needed him to balance salaries. He is going to be a free agent next season though...

newc, Thanks for stopping by man! After Kleiza's turrible performance against yesterday, my remorse for dealing him went away. :P

TheMC5, You better hope for some blowouts then, because Mo-Pete is the 12th man.

Next week recap (weekap?) and Sit Vs. O'Greene coming soon. Stay tuned, guys.

Eh, I bet Salim will get drunk and released in OKC, and you'll pick him up if you have roster room.

He's my favorite player ever. The guy who made me start to like basketball.

Does that mean I should pick San Antonio for my next and final story? :|

But I never thought Manu as "the guy who made me start to like basketball."... I mean, he's my fav player ever. I don't have a favorite "team", but I'd be the Spurs. I think it was San Antonio all this time, all along. That's my team! Funny, it was the team I chose back in the day for the failed Blueprint and ended up with NJ. Can I be a bigger idiot? :(

Week 10 In Review

January 16, 2011 - Another losing week drops the Craptors to 6 games below .500, and 4 out of a playoff spot. After a shocking blowout win against the Celtics, we suffered a very disappointing loss in Indiana, in which Sonny Weems dislocated a finger. To close the week, we lost a close one in New York to the (slowly) rising Knicks. Post-Kleiza (who?) Toronto hasn't seemed to drop off though, and despite having a losing record near the halfway mark of the season, there is hope yet. Andrea Bargnani finally had a decent game, while Hedo Turkoglu and DeMar DeRozan have been very consistent. GO RAPS!

January 10, 2011 - No Rondo? This time, no problem! The Raptors got a big win over their division rival Celtics, blowing them out 102-81. Led by their frontcourt of Shaq and Andrea Bargnani, the Raptors dominated the first quarter and never looked back. This game narrows the gap for the division lead to just 2.5 games.

January 11, 2011 - In an important game between the 8th and 9th place teams in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers once again prevailed. Led by rising star DeMar DeRozan, the Raptors got off to a fast start. Indiana turned it around in the second and third, thanks to balanced, consistent scoring, then held off Toronto for the win. Indiana took a 4 game lead for the final seed in the playoffs with the win. The defeat was especially costly for the Raptors, who lost reserve swingman Sonny Weems to a dislocated finger. He is expected to miss 1-2 weeks.

January 15, 2011 - Oh look, we lost another important game with playoff implications. I am too frustrated to type out a normal game recap for you people, so here's Wally Canuck and Ken Chalmers' take on the game:

This is normal for the Craptors. I think you'll keep blowing out good teams (ie Celtics and Spurs). Make sure you blowout the Lakers when you face them. (Y)

I hope that trend continues. Will need to finish out January strong to stay in the hunt. Last few games of the month are against contenders who unlike Boston, aren't coasting.

Hmm... a month away from ASWknd and your team's losing to scrubs :? ... also treading dangerous waters at 4 games back which easily could balloon to double digits thus kissing playoff hopes g'bye... you contemplating any possible deadline trade(s) to try and give your team a talent infusion and get them over the 'mediocre' hump?
