What does the global.iff do? I've heard a lot people saying when modding. I'm new at this so yeah.
Also when downloading shoes, does the file go to the player's .iff or is it a different .iff file?

global iff contains many textures and models that are used throughout the game, such as accessories textures, skin textures, david stern's suit and other stuff.

shoe files are their own iff file and are assigned to a player through the roster
