I tried to contact you guys by PM, but since I got no reply, here it goes:

Angola Team:

I'm not familiar with the shooting types of each player, as to how they translate to NBA players, but I know some of the players' styles of play, so I hope I can help.

10-Joaquim Gomes: He's only 200cm, so he is an undersized inside player. Nevertheless he battles a lot inside, banging and bruising for rebounds. He is very crafty under the basket, and very effective until about 2-3m away from the basket. Attempts outside of that range on occasion, but he's better under the basket. When he penetrates he has that 'shawn marion' weird body movement (not the shooting, the driving to the basket).

14-Miguel Lutonda: For years he has been the anchor of the team. He used to be the 1st scoring option but now due to his age (39) he's lost some of the capabilites that made him effective, so now he is more of a penetrate and pass type. However he can still score, and remains a good shooter from the outside. (scored 16 today against Jordan). Doesn't penetrate as much as he used to, but can still do it against more 'open' defenses.

12-Felizardo Ambrosio: In this World Championship he has been more of a rebounder. That has been mostly his role with Angola NT. Due to Angola's lack of size, he plays more on the inside, but he comes outside for a 3pt shot if he's open, as most players in Angola do. Favors the two-hand dunk. Athletic and powerful, uses his body as his main weapon on defense. Can drive but will often pass to the outside.

6-Carlos Morais: A scoring shooting guard. Became the team's leading scorer in recent years. In the NT he basically shoots first, shoots second, and the thinks about passing. Also has a quite good jumping ability.

All of them play very physical defense, many times to a fault. They use their bodies and hands to as far as the referees let them.If they encounter a loose referee squad they can be suffocating to their opponents They pound people inside due to their lack of size. All of them rely a little bit too much on athletic abilty.

I will try to scout some more guys in tonight's game. Hope this helps.

More on Angola team, after watching tonight's game:

4-Olimpio Cipriano: Good at driving to the basket. Also made 4 backdoor cuts, so he takes advantage of defense mistakes. He came from the streetbasket, so he has some moves. Is a good athlete and uses that ability to drive to the basket and create shots for himself.

6-Carlos Morais(update): Has been displaying a good outside shot. Used to drive more than he does now.

11-Divaldo Mbunga: Seemed to me as a typical inside man, but the comentator remarked that he comes outside to shoot. Didn't see that in today's game, but he didn't play that much.

15-Eduardo Mingas: Very strong despite being udersized to play inside at the international level. Favored spot is the low post, where he has some moves with his back to the basket. Occasionaly faces the basket and shoots. If he's open from 3pt range sometimes he'll attempt the shot. Has shown some difficulty in coming outside to guard the outside shot. Hasn't looked too good this year, maybe age got to him a little bit.

Sorry, i'm not a CF maker. I can help you with those signature moves, just tell me for what teams do you need.

And one question: Will rosters be as of 2010? Because i see LeBron in USA (and he's not in USA this year).

Rosters will be like in FIBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN TURKEY 2010 (current rosters)

you mean famous injured or missed players will not be in rosters? :?:

I mean like Argentina has Manu Ginobili and he doesn't play for Argentina this year. That means that he wouldn't be in roster. But if someone injured in Championship(durning championship) that means that player will be in Roster.

Pepis21, No, I'm from Portugal but I have some ties to Angola. Believe it or not, I actually played against some of these guys. And more which didn't make the final cut.

The logo on the back is 'Sonangol' the National Petrol Company. Just google it and there will be a bunch of logos.
They also have 'Super Bock' on the shorts, which is a famous Portuguese beer brand.

Anything else, just ask.

ROSTER PROGRESS UPDATE
Eda is away right now, so I thought I would update everyone on the ROSTER, since I'm the one that is working on it. I know that you guys are excited and anxious to play--and so am I--but I had no idea how difficult it is to rate players for 2k10. I did the NTeams 06 ROSTER for NBA LIVE and it took me about 2 or 3 months... There are a fraction of the attributes on NBA LIVE compared to 2k10... So, this has been a huge and overwhelming task, and frankly, I am burned out... I have rated almost 370 players so far... That is INSANE! I enjoy doing this stuff, but I have very, very little free time these days and trying to release this in a timely manner has been a royal pain in the ass... If I would have been working on this when eda first started this project, I would certainly be done, but I only started working on it a little over a month ago. All of that being said, the earliest that I can get the ROSTER complete will probably be tuesday or wednesday of next week... and I can't completely guarantee that. Now here is a run down of what will and will NOT be featured in V.1 of this MOD:

The ROSTER will include:
-Ratings for all 24 World Championship Teams
-The Signature/FT shots that have been provided in this forum. If the Signature/FT shots are not provided in this forum thread, then they will NOT show up in the first version of this MOD.

The ROSTER will NOT include:
-The finished or rated players for the other 6 Non-World Championship teams
-Accurate Hot Spots/Tendencies
-Any other Signature Moves unless already provided in this forum thread

I will complete the ROSTER for this MOD featuring all 30 teams (with Sig Moves, Tendencies, Hot Spots) in V.2, but hopefully by next week you will have V.1... That's the best I can do given the difficulty of this project and the limited time that I have available. Thanks
RETIRED MODDER I used to MOD, but I quit because people & whatnot...

Congratz on Lithuania Win, Lithuanians :chug:
Good game for Spain people (Y)

OT:
Too bad it will take that long :/ Maybe if you could work together with somebody it could be better, eg when you are at work or something the other guy can do the roster, and when you're back you can take over :)

Hello, if you need I can discribe shooting styles and playstyle of croatian players.

Here are playstyles,if you need i will find shooting animations :)

Luka Žorić PF/C - strong and very good rebounder (think he had 9 RBS vs USA) and also good close-range and mid-range shooter and post player.

Ante Tomić C - 218 cm tall center, very good post player(he usualy takes hook shots) ,solid mid range shooter, not very good ballhandler

Marko Tomas SF/SG -in one word- Scorer , Very good shooter(especialy 3 point) , one of ouer key players, strong defender

Dvor Kus - 3point Shooter, good on ball defense and stealing

Rok Stipčević - ouer worst player, usualy dont play very often ,his only ability is good 3 point shooting, weak and small

Bojan Bogdanović -NBA prospect, Big strong and Athletic,he also has very good 3pt shooting ability ,one of prime scorers in team

Marko Banić - good rebounder and mid-range shooter, also very strong under the basket

rest of the team tomorow :)

Great project, thank you for working on it :) but does that mean that in 1 week we will get only the roster and not the rest? (cyberfaces, jerseys, courts)??
