If I start it earlier I will do some preseason stuff in 2k10 and then switch to 2k11 for the regular season, like I did in my first 2k10 story.

Superb game by Kyle.

Whatever your team will be, make sure you get Korver! (Y)

Andrew wrote:Hot shooting. (Y) Korver's numbers remind me of some of the games he's had for me in my Bulls Dynasty, fine numbers from downtown but really struggling on the attempts from inside the arc. Great game from Bogut too, shame he couldn't have a couple of blocks to go along with it though.

It was a real shame I couldn't get a single block, considering he had 8 the last match.

Carter was very quiet. In the fourth qtr, he played like 2-3 minutes, picked up his 5th foul and Redick came in.

MVP is Jennings. Warrick is the man who scores down low, though I hope he can be an All-Star.

Sit leads NY over Chicago.

Will Sit led the Knicks over the Bulls 110-108 with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Sit was 13-19 from the field and 5-7 from 3PT range.

Eddy Curry added 23 points and Stephon Mayberry had 14. Carlos Boozer led Chicago with 30 points. Sit's draft class mate Carl Cruz added 15 and Derrick Rose had 19.

---------------------------------------

Orlando beats Houston 121-114.

Dwight Howard and Vince Carter combined for 65 points to lead the Magic over the Rockets, who were led by Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady, who combined for 68 themselves.

Rashard Lewis added 22 for the Magic.

(Wanted to post Sit's big night and saw that on the same day, this scoring duel occoured. Actually there was another (Mayo 44 vs Deron Williams 40), but this will do.

Mr. Big Shot strikes again, ends Bucks win streak
01/18/12 - Bucks (90) - Nuggets (96)

    Image
Bonner played center. He didn't do well on this possession.

Chaunsey Billups hit the biggest shot of the night, a long three-pointer with 27 seconds left to put the Nuggets up by 3. The final score was settled by free throws.

Carmelo Anthony led the Nuggets through the night, finishing with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. J.R Smith was the game's leading scorer with 28 points. Billups finished with 14 points, hitting 3 3-pointers. Recently acquired Jerry Dieudonne played just 4 minutes after suffering an injury in the second quarter.

Michael Redd led Milwaukee with 27. Jennings added 17 points and 7 assists. Shane Battier was big also, scoring 16 points and grabbing 8 boards with 3 steals and 2 blocks. The frontcourt struggled, combining for just 17 points on 7-23 shooting.

Andrew Bogut drew a foul on Nene, his sixth, and things looked good for the Bucks early in the fourth. He missed both free throws and the Nuggets went on a 8-0 run. Scott Skiles called a time-out, and Kyle Korver came in.

Michael Redd would score 2 straight three-pointers, Korver's 2-pointer tied the game and Redd's fast break dunk put the Bucks up by 2. Carmelo Anthony and Brandon Jennings went for a scoring duel after that. Jennings scored 8 straight, Melo had 10 to tie the game at 90.

Hakim Warrick missed a dunk on the next Bucks possession and Chaunsey Billups hit his third three with 4 seconds on the shot clock. The Bucks opted for a quick three with Korver, but he missed it and Hakim Warrick fouled Billups to stop the clock. He only made the first to put Denver up 4. Michael Redd would miss a three-pointer after that and Matt Bonner made both of his fouls shots.

The Bucks didn't attempt any shots after that, having accepted defeat. Jennings dribbled out the final 4 seconds of the game. The Bucks winning streak ended at 3.

Oklahoma City acquires Millsap in 4-player deal.

After acquiring Tyrus Thomas from the Chicago Bulls, the Utah Jazz have acquired G James Harden and F Glen Davis from the Oklahoma City Thunder for their current 6th man Paul Millsap and promising Sophomore guard J.D. Mobley.

Millsap was the team's key reserve for the last 3 years and after dealing Carlos Boozer away, Millsap hoped for a starting spot in Utah, but coach Sloan prefered the defensive-oriented Thomas instead. He became displeased with the situation and let the team know that he wants to play more minutes.

Millsap will have the starting spot in Oklahoma City next to young sensation Ocho Huit in Oklahoma City's front court along-side players like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrrok and the recently acquired Brandon Rush.

Harden will take over the starting 2-spot in Utah, where the Jazz tried both Mobley and Ronnie Brewer throughout the season. Davis will see a decrease in minutes, being the team's sixth man from now on. Davis was signed by the Thunder this off-season after Jeff Green left to join forces with Gerald Walalce and the rest of the Bobcats.

Player stats :

Paul Millsap (85) : 8.2 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.76 SPG, 0.48 BPG
J.D. Mobley (65) : 9.2 PPG, 2.0 RPG, 2.1 APG, 0.76 SPG, 0.24 BPG

James Harden (80) : 16.8 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.17 SPG, 0.25 BPG
Glen Davis (73) : 9.4 PPG, 8.2 RPG, 1.7 APG, 0.75 SPG, 1.25 BPG

Projected starting line-ups :

Oklahoma City :

C - Ocho Huit
PF - Paul Millsap
SF - Kevin Durant
SG - Brandon Rush
PG - Russell Westbrook

Utah :

C - Mehmet Okur
PF - Tyrus Thomas
SF - Andrei Kirilenko
SG - James Harden
PG - Deron Williams

Bogut racks up triple-double in Philly, Bucks get 10th win
01/30/12 - Bucks (103) - 76ers (96)

    Image
Bogut did an excellent job finding the open man.

Andrew Bogut racked up his first career triple-double, finishing with 17 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists to lead Milwaukee over Philadelphia.

Michael Redd scored 27 points and Brandon Jennings had 21 points. The league's leader in assists had only 4. Hakim Warrick had a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds, but just just 4-10 from the stripe, despite shooting nearly 87% this season.

Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Last season's MVP Elton Brand had 18 points and 11 rebounds with 5 blocks and Lou Williams also racked up 18 points. He also had 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Former Buck Wilson Chandler played 11 minutes off the bench and grabbed 4 rebounds in that time.

Bogut worked really well with Warrick, finding him for open dunks on many occasions.

After 4 minutes, Elton Brand and Lou Williams helped tie the game. Mike Miller's jumper would put the Sixers up by 2. Andrew Bogut then drew a double-team and threw up an alley-oop to Warrick.

Michael Redd would score 4 straight points to put Milwaukee up by 4. Hakim Warrick would then block Andre Iguodala's dunk attempt, Bogut grabbed the loose ball, brought the ball up and kicked it to an open Brandon Jennings in the corner, who knocked down a three-pointer.

The rest of the way went slowly, as both teams shot free throws. Hakim Warrick missed both free throws, Bogut grabbed the offensive board and kicked it out to an open Brandon Jennings. Jennings knocked down a three-pointer at the buzzer and Bogut got his first triple-double.

"When Warrick was at the line, I looked up on the scoreboard and saw 17-16-9 next to number #6, and when Bogut got the rebound and passed me the rock, I had to make it," said Jennings after the game.

This wraps up January for the Bucks. They have 2 more games (Mavericks, Warriors) before the All-Star Weekend.

Fine win and awesome game from Bogut, a lack of blocks again being the only downer. Still, a triple double by the big guy is nothing to sneeze at. :)

Thank you all for the 1000 replies! It was my goal when I started this and now, 1 day before the thread's 1 year anniversary, it's here. :)

I want to thank all of my followers, it has been great for me and even though I quit for a while when I got 2K10, luckily my video card burned out and I got this going again, so the biggest thanks to those who wanted me to continue this. (Y)

Special thanks to Sit, Thierry, Lamrock, Clutch, Cartar, megarover, C-77, Xplosibo, and homicide1550 for being there from the start, though the last three have disappeared in the year that this has existed.

Also want to thank those, who started following later like Durantula_MVP, dare, Andrew, Justine, King Dee, z02, George7, Valor and Axel13.

I hope I'm not forgetting anyone, I might be because some of you might never have posted in this topic or maybe just once or twice, so if you are on of those, I thank you too. :D

I have 6 more draftees next year, that's good. Same as last year, though I have more spots available. :) Also, if anyone wants to post an article about their player, request a trade or someone else to get traded, don't hesitate to let me know. :)

In conclusion, I hope everyone have enjoyed this as much as I have presenting this to you. It has been a great run and I hope all of you are there in the future.

As a bonus, here is one of the box scores from my Knicks dynasty I have in the background. Jennings is the league's leading scorer in that :
