It's Official, Iverson a King
The Sacramento Kings have official signed SG Allen Iverson to a 1 year, $12.18 M contract. There has been many speculations about this pairing around the league for a few weeks now.
The Kings struggled with an 0-3 start, but have won their last game. They are currently last in the Pacific division and are not expected to threaten the division leader Los Angeles Clippers.
The Kings backcourt will now feature two high scoring, high powered guards with high character. This experiment will be a true test to Coach Westphal if he can pair both Evans and Iversons skills to extend their 1-game win streak.

I'm proud of my guys. They were having a bad game, they had a chance to quite, but they kept fighting. I'm proud of them.
I knew if I could just tie the game, my team would pull together in overtime. I knew my 3 wasn't falling tonight, so I wanted to keep it safe and give ourselves the best chance at a victory.

Carmelo Anthony wants out of Denver?
Sources have found that Carmelo Anthony maybe be plotting his escape from Denver. Anthony's wife, actress LaLa, may also factor in the decision of his destination.
NY Post:Now that Stoudemire is a Knick, and rumors continue to swirl about Anthony wanting to join him, he still hopes the partnership will take place.
"I hope it does happen," Stoudemire told The Post. "Carmelo is a phenomenal player . . . he could help us a lot. We're still not sure how things will work out, but the team we've got now, the personnel we have now has what it takes to win, so we've just got to keep working at it.
Yahoo! Sports:Anthony has hesitated to sign a three-year, $65 million extension and expressed intrigue with opting out of his contract next summer to become a free agent. Despite significant speculation the New York Knicks are the team that Anthony would most likely want to join, two sources close to him insisted the Knicks have been overstated as an object of his desire. Privately, Anthony has expressed more enthusiasm over joining the Houston Rockets than the Knicks, sources said.
Denver Post:Meanwhile, if the Nuggets cannot convince Carmelo Anthony to sign an extension with the team and they decide to trade him at some point, could it be to the Los Angeles Clippers? I’m hearing it could be a possibility. It would get both he and his wife, La La, out to where entertainment opportunities are plentiful, which is key factor in their decision to want to move on.
ESPN:Nuggets have been exploring what they might be able to get for All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony, who has not signed the team's three-year, $65 million extension offer and could become a free agent next summer.
Another league source said Anthony, "in his heart," would like to stay in Denver but has lost faith in the team's direction.
Yahoo! Sports:The New Jersey Nets and Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as the two most probable destinations for Anthony because they have assets that appeal to Denver. The geography works for Anthony because of his wife LaLa Vazquez’s entertainment career.
Golden State and Houston are contenders, too. What’s more, the Charlotte Bobcats are a sleeper because of Anthony’s Brand Jordan shoe deal and the team’s ability to give the Nuggets a salary-dump proposal.
This might become one of the biggest stories this season since LeBron's decision during the offseason.
Update, Report from Clippers Front Office
The rumors about Carmelo Anthony have interested GM Neil Olshey and Assistant GM KidJustin as they have prompted staff to see how true these speculations are about Anthony's disinterest in the franchise that drafted him.
