Still playing Plants vs Zombies. Used a trainer only for gold and sun flowers. Trying out all weapons were cool.

Trainer? Plants vs. Zombies? Pathetic.

Ended up downloading Braid for PC (finally, a newish game my laptop can run!). Very cool, but it makes me feel like a fucking idiot.

That's kinda the entire point. I hope you're stuck on the third or forth level though.

To be friendly, you really have to start thinking about the time manipulation at some point.

Thankfully some of us have practiced with puzzle games and temporal mechanics for years that we found it all pretty easy at first glance.

Loved Portal. Spent most of Christmas 2007 beating that shit. Don't know what reviewers are talking about, saying its only 2-3 hours long. My brother and I got 6-8 out of it. :P

Beat stages 2 and 3 with relative ease (is the first world just the starting area with all the canvases?), but 4 is indeed giving me a hell of a time. In one stage, two keys are required, but I can only spot one, and in the other, I need to kill 6 demons, but can only get 4 at a time. :x

Commenting on shadowgrin, ozrgoo's posts...

Techinically, not a cheating since all modes were beaten beforehand anyways, unless you wanna put in 100s hours into basically growing Wisdom tree.

Just wanted to explore what game makers did with this game to a full length: how they were to prolong game's shelf life, and basically all aspects of the game including items you can purchase and such.

Me and my buddies are planning to work together on games like this in the near future so I invested more hours into this game than usual. So also played on the Iphone which was bit more simple than a PC version.

Batman: Arkham Asylum for the second time. Still love that game, it's great. And a lot of hours CS: Source.

Going for the last puzzle piece of world 4, trying to time the douchebag key being taken by the monster on to the moving tram. Moments like this where I know how to do it, but just... can't make me want to beat the shit out of the game. I can only imagine how much of a nightmare Worlds 5 & 6 will be.

UPDATE: Got it. Far more trouble than it should have been. Almost done with World 5. Game seems to be progressively easier. Maybe I'm just used to the mechanics by now...

The 360 version has multiplayer. PC gamers always get screwed with multiple platform releases.

That is not true my friend. Not true at all.

TF2 alone should discount everything. But just look at 2K10, yeah it took longer for the patch, but you also paid 1/3rd the price at launch. Batmans added PhysX, Borderlands needed some patching but the PC version is now blatantly superior, Defense Grid came out months earlier and got tons of extra content, despite the DRM UbiSoft titles generally have more stuff on the PC version. Although PoP wasn't given the DLC with the epilogue, this actually doesn't screw the PC user as he gets the BETTER ENDING!

And all of the above were cheaper and looked/ran better anyway.

Plants vs. Zombies is overrated. Defense Grid won tower defense forever, sry.

I'm just whining because I want multiplayer for my tower defense game. Defense Grid doesn't have multiplayer for PC, iirc.

Doesn't for 360 either that I'm aware of.

Everyone thinks they want multiplayer tower defense. But then the other person has placed a bunch of crappy towers in stupid locations and you have no resources.

But I want to be the guy placing the enemies and defeating the guy who places the towers in stupid locations.
PvZ multiplayer - the other plants the plants, the other plants the zombies in what lane and how many

That sounds so much more fun than playing against same crap computer over and over again just to unlock craps that aren't even useful much anyways.

I guess 360 version was the best one outta all. Can't believe they couldn't add it on PC.

Just about ready to put Fallout 3 back on the shelf after the latest playthrough, before starting the whole thing over with New Vegas come October.

Gave up on Braid. Just got Skate 3 (mostly for the level editor). Also found some great sliders and have been really in to my association.

Starcraft 2 + NBA Live 2000. The only one I remember having his airness as a legit player. This will have to do until 2k11's release.
