Len Bias

Tue Aug 03, 2010 7:24 pm

I was wondering if someone could create a Len Bias portrait/player for NBA 2K10. I know he never played in an NBA game, but after watching highlights of him I think he would have been a great player for the Celtics and would like to use him either in My Player mode or even just on a roster for use in association/playoffs/quick game etc.

It's a shame that such an incredible talent never got a chance to live his dream and truly shine as possibly one of the greatest players in NBA history. R.I.P. to Mr. Len Bias

I strongly agree..
"Len Bias owned Michael Jordan in college, and would have owned Michael Jordan in the NBA. If he hadn't died, he would have changed the entire NBA landscape and history as we know today. The Boston Celtics with Bias, Bird and McHale would have won 5 championships easily, and would have prevented the Pistons from winning their 2 and Chicago their first 3. Jordan may possibly have not even won a single championship, and certainly no more than 2 or 3 coming in the mid-90's."

nice idea, you can ask from the cf makers about it and give some pictures too so it will be easy

by the way you're in the wrong thread.

Yeah, his brother was a promising high school player at the time but sadly he got shot and killed in 1990. I can't imagine what their family went through.

Here's a quote about LeBron being compared to Bias. This really explains how great Bias was in his era and what could have been had he played in the NBA.

"To be real, he was simply LeBron James before LeBron James was born. The same way we are comparing Dwyane Wade to Jordan now, putting him at times on that level, if LB had lived, LBJ would be the chosen one who followed his legacy. Only we'd be wondering if LeBron were as good."

Well its all debatable but MJ definitely had one thing Bias didn't, the good sense not to shove the white stuff up his nose.

No offense jaywv30, but this isn't a place to discuss the negative aspects of Len Bias' life, and certainly not his death. Everyone makes mistakes, insulting him is the absolute worse thing to do because very unfortunately he paid the ultimate price for that mistake. I think Bias should be remembered as the great athlete and player that he was, and the potential he had coming into the NBA.
