Created Player: Limit?

...man... I'm running into all kinds of problems.

I've created about 240 players for the FIBA mod... and now I can't create any more players. I went through and changed the PlType field for all of the players I created to "4" and that allowed me to make about 30 or 40 more players, but now I can't create anymore. Is there a limit to how many "Created Players" you can make? Is there a loop-hole? Should I change some normal NBA players to generic players? Any MODers out there please help. Thanks in advance.

there is a limit to the amount of "generic faces" you can have in the roster. so even though all the players may be CAPs, the faces cant all be generic, use CFs

try looking at the 2k dev teams that you can unlock and see if you can find some lookalikes

Thanks again for your help JaoSming. Let me ask you another question. There is a section in the ROSTER that has the **************** players that ends on line 979 and their PlType is marked as "3"... I changed it to "1" and then was able to create more players... Is that a possible solution, or is that going to screw the game up? I created 3 players real quick and it seems to work, but I don't want to destroy all my hard work.

i believe that is used by the game for draftees in association, but as long as you can keep a backup, try it out
