Desperate when hes 20 yrs old & making almost millions. I dont think so. The kid may not be that talented lyrically but at the end of the day hes makin figures. And his newest single "pretty boi swag" even hit the top of the hip hop charts and still getting a lot of radio play. So obviously there is huge amount of people that doesnt think he sucks. And people go crazy when the song comes on at the club. Damn i wish i could come up with a dance right now. Too bad i cant dance. Even 50 Cent respect the kid and there arent too many rappers he respect nowadays. I know hip hop is kind of in a bad state right now but at the same time the people that are saying it arent doing anything to fix it. If anything theres more bitching going on in hip hop than anything.

If youre not in the music industry to make money then why are you there in the first place is all im saying. Its their job. right? Jay-Z is not going to just make records and not get paid. Hell no the guy wants his money. They make albums, do shows and put in all that work because theyre getting paid to do it. I don't think every artist is making music because of the money. If it was only for the money, than most of these guys could have stopped making music after two or three LPs. You represent your thoughts and your style with the music you make. For some artists it's even some kind of showing their biography. Then you build a fanbase which you definitely do not want to disappoint by stopping. There are enough rap artist who fit into that scheme.
