Spoiling comes with the territory. As the anteater says, "Fuck You!"

You could try being artistic with it.
Or Spore-izing it.

I have no idea where to put this so I'll just put this here. For 21 games in the 1997-98 season, Gregg Popovich started David Robinson-Will Perdue-Tim Duncan as the Spurs' frontcourt.

They went 16-5 in those games. Which is 62-20 over 82 games.
They were 40-21 in the other 61 games. Which is 54-28.

3 questions:

1. Has anyone ever traded a 1st draft pick? Before the draft, right after or during the first season.
2. Has anyone ever won ROY and MVP the same season? Or ROY and Finals MVP.
3. What's the least number of games played in the playoffs by a champion? I mean, has anyone ever won all the rounds 4-0 or close to that.

2. Wilt Chamberlain, Wes Unseld both have done this

1. Yes, most recently in 1993. The Magic traded Chris Webber to the Warriors for Penny Hardaway and three future first rounders.
2. Yes, Wilt Chamberlain won both in 1960 as did Wes Unseld in 1969. I do not believe anyone has won Finals MVP and ROY in the same season.
3. The 2001 Los Angeles Lakers went 15-1. The 1983 Philadelphia 76ers went 12-1. The 1999 Spurs, 1989 Pistons and 1991 Bulls all went 15-2 and the 1971 Bucks and 1982 Lakers went 12-2.

To be technically accurate, the least number of playoff games by a champion were the 1947 Sixers, 1949 Lakers, 1956 Sixers, 1957 Celtics, 1961 Celtics, and 1964 Celtics who all played in only 10 playoff games.

Is Kevin Durant what Rashard Lewis could have been had Lewis went to college?

Also if Jonathan Bender did not get plagued by injuries, what type of player could he be now?

Those deserve a thread of their own. This thread is more about facts rather than discussion and speculation of "what ifs".

It was August 4th last year, so the 2011 schedule will probably be out in about a month's time.

The answer(s) to this question might be more opinion-based but, has there ever been a player in the NBA who had a weirder shooting form than Shawn Marion?

You think I wouldn't know about Chuck Hayes? He basically has a regular shooting form, his "fake" is what stops it from being regular. Still, I think Shawn Marion's form is weirder.

Bill Cartwright's form was up there amongst the ugliest/most unorthadox and Joakim Noah's is something to behold too, but Marion's is almost a chest pass.

He didn't do too badly considering his shooting form though, he had a few pretty good years from the free throw line and shot 77% for his career.

Hey! I remember seeing that video before, now that's even more unorthodox than Shawn Marion's!
