The Clippers may trade their No. 8 pick to Chicago for Luol Deng and the Bulls' 17th pick, according to a source that spoke with Chris Broussard.
Broussard later spoke with a rep from one of the clubs and was told it is not going to happen.
RealGM Note: This trade could not be completed on draft night due to the Clippers needing to use their cap space to absorb Deng's contract.
According to a trusted source, the Wizards and Magic might be discussing a trade involving Gilbert Arenas for Vince Carter.
Michael Lee of the Washington Post confirmed the discussions, but there is 'nothing to it now.'
RealGM Note: Arenas is close to Magic GM Otis Smith from his time in the Golden State front office.

The Bulls have a trade in place that would send guard Kirk Hinrich and the No. 17 pick to the Wizards, sources told ESPN.com's Ric Bucher.
The move would free up enough cap space for Chicago to sign two max-level free agents this summer.
The deal can't be consummated until July 8, when Washington will have enough room under the cap to absorb Hinrich's contract without having to send anything back in return.

The New Jersey Nets have signed free agents Ben Uzoh and Brian Zoubek, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not released.
Uzoh, 6’3”/205, was undrafted out of Tulsa. The four-year senior guard averaged 13.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 141 career games, including 140 starts. Uzoh was named First Team All-Conference USA as a senior and Second Team All-Conference USA as a junior and sophomore. The Texas native shares the school record for career games played with 141, while ranking in the top 10 in school history in 11 categories, including points, assists, steals, rebounds and blocks.
Zoubek, 7’1”/260, is an undrafted rookie center out of Duke. As a senior, Zoubek played in all 40 contests, helping the Blue Devils capture a National Championship while averaging 5.6 points and 7.7 rebounds on .638 (90-141) shooting from the field. For his career, the New Jersey native averaged 4.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 133 games, which included started in 37 contests.
The Bucks and forward Drew Gooden have agreed to terms on a five-year, $32 million contract, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Milwaukee struck the deal early in order to fortify their frontcourt.
They are still trying to retain John Salmons
The Suns have agreed to terms on a four-year, $18 million deal with free agent forward Hakim Warrick, sources tell Marc Spears of Yahoo!
Warrick played with the Bucks and Bulls during the 09-10 season.
The signing likely signals the end of Amar'e Stoudemire's tenure with the Suns.
Steve Blake has agreed to a four-year deal with the Lakers, according to a report from John Canzanao.
According to FanHouse, the deal is worth $16 million over four seasons.
RealGM Note: Blake bounced around the NBA for several seasons before finding a home with the Blazers in his second tenure. He was dealt to the Clippers shortly before the 2010 NBA deadline in a deal that brought Marcus Camby to Portland.
The point guard position was one area where the Lakers addressed as a high priority this offseason.
Amar’e Stoudemire(notes) and the New York Knicks are making progress in talks on a five-year, $100 million max contract and a deal could be completed as soon as this weekend, league sources told Y! Sports.
While Stoudemire and the Knicks are still on track to consummate a deal, the All-Star forward may wait until he sits down face-to-face with Knicks officials over the weekend in New York before accepting the offer, a source says. Stoudemire wants to hear the Knicks’ clear plan for whom they plan to surround him with on the floor. Between now and then, the dominos of players committing to teams could still shuffle the deck and give another team a chance to make a run at Stoudemire – perhaps even work a sign-and-trade with Phoenix that would get him a sixth guaranteed season.
Dwyane Wade is leaning toward committing to the Chicago Bulls, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com's Chad Ford on Friday.
Wade requested a second meeting with the Bulls on Friday, according to the source.
Wade needed to clarify issues around possibly joining the Bulls, according to the source.
The Bulls would need to clear additional cap space to sign two players to max contracts.

If they do this what will Rose do? When Rose's contract finishes he will probably want a quite expensive contract (like 4-5 yr/>40M), what will Bulls be? What the heck now with making a double or triple? Just they need to sign LeBron or Bosh SINGLE.
