Here's my current work... just a preview(as always ). Annyway just wanna get some suggestions. I gave him the multi-color socks and a custom knee pad and band. Take a look:



Want to give him a fro but I can't find a good headshape. Please tell me if you know the right headshape for him. I've already tried Moses Malone, but he doesn't look like him. I hope someone would respond.

Looks good, I like the socks. I don't know about the fro thing, maybe when we can edit .O files than you can give him a fro with that headshape. Maybe Ben Wallace, hehehe.

The overall patch is very great ........But lets not forget that in the 80's Doctor J didn't have the giant fro he had in the 70's....but so far i like the patch ....I like the socks as well but what are those clear knee braces? I think you should probably leave those out .......but other than that its a great patch.......you should release this one now(minus the braces) then keep working on the one with the big fro and release it later........ .............keep up the good work MJ....



P.S. I'm going to release my Dominque Wilkins patch very soon maybe today are tommorow so everyone look out for that ........

MJ.....If you do leave the braces in there make them a different color....like white or a off-white color....don't make them the same color as his skin its unrealistic......but other than that.....i think the patch is great .........make small changes and release it........

The knee brace is not clear lol I saw him had that in the 70's. I told this patch is not yet finished. in the 80's he had long socks and two arm bands. In the 70's he had that accesory I made. Btw, wanna thank Nick.

cool stuff bro. I don't think it needs anything else. He didn't have a fro in the 80's and if i was doing a patch for him..i wouldn't look for a headshape with a fro. The only thing i suggest is to look for more textured hair from an existing player in the game. It looks plain black in the screenshots

I was planning to do a full dr. j update...and i already made the practise jerseys. I dunno if mabe you'd want them for when releasing ur patch so as to have a complete dr j update. I could also make nahkalan's weapon hi in other colorways.

It's a good patch... If you want some suggestions, here they are...

- fix that white dot on his nose
- fix his hair colour and texture, like Yohance said
- fix and tweak a bit his eyes

yes i really like this patch also. espicaly for 1982-83 Champs sixers era years!

i espically like the socks i think many of the older players and teams were very much more colourful back then! with cool stripes and stars and accessories.



and, the 76 Dr J did have a larger afro when he first came from teh ABA NYNets to Phila 76ers then. i rememebr being in the stands in awe :-O watching him soar around the spectrum. boy, it looked liked it was slow motion, but it was real time . it was great.

anyway, heres a question for u all?
do you know who had the largest afro in basketball (ABA/NBA) hsitroy? the Dr. is actually 2nd?!?! lol!
