haha... you were like the Mavs getting to Finals then losing in first round the next season. Difference here is that you actually won it all. :)

Whens Bucks starting again?

dare, I probably won't turn it into a story, but you might see an update like the last one. My laptop is pretty shitty graphics wise too. I was surprised by Ibaka too. I played one game for fun and he had 25 and 17 off the bench with 7 blocks. Durant had 53 and I won by 40. :P

Clutch, yeah, I meant to run it, but I had deleted the install and my internet was playing tricks on me. I've tried it a few times. Should have run it more, as Kobe averaged 5-5-5 one season when the Lakers won the title. (They traded Pau for Arenas, Arenas was Finals MVP)

Sit, the Heat also won the title and lost in the first round the next year like me. The Bucks are probably long away still. This week I have some drinking to do and the next week will I might start working to earn some extra money.

Durantula, thanks for the help. Also, received your info, all top notch. :)

Hoepfully you have time (Y) , and also sick sig. But I doubt LeBron, Wade and Bosh will be together next year, but what a sight that would be, obviously anything less than a championship would be a disappointment.

I'm going to work as of Monday, don't know yet for how long. I'll still check in, but the delay will continue. As of today there's a month until my 18th birthday, so need some money to throw a party.

I want to go on for at least one more season, it all depends on what happens with Wade, Bosh etc..

I'm sure you're all curios, since there are no replies here, but I will be continuing this in late August.

I will most certainly be playing with the Heat once the new roster comes out in the background too, but I just can't imagine doing a story with Lebron, Bosh and Wade. If you want to see those guys together, you can see them from October to June. (Y)

Me too. I played the first game yesterday, but had to leave cause a man's gotta work. Pretty exciting game though against the Raptors. :cheeky:

The thing about the Heat now, is that almost everybody hates them now. Had it been just Bosh and Wade, I would have done it.

probably because people prefer stories of regular joes overcoming the odds as opposed to a team of assembled titans steam-rollin' everyone (Dream Team I excluded ;) ). The "3 Kings" will definitely draw bandwagoneers in droves and be the 'Beatles' of this era like the Bulls were in the 90s, but most fans will be cheering their respective underdog local team whenever the Heat's in town

Clutch, yeah, the Heat now have a roster, what many guys try to achieve through unrealistic trades.

I tried to sim with Live 06, using the big 3. Added some guys with ratings ~65 to the bench. Also with the Bulls. Heat won 55 games, Chicago 23. NY with Amare and the Meal Ticket won 17. :?

Though my favorite was the Celtics with 70 wins and Jermaine averaging 29 and 13.

Hedo hits the big shot, complete big Raptors comeback.
Bucks (104) - Raptors (108)

    Image
Hedo knocking down the long three-pointer over Korver.

Bucks big man K Chan will be remembered by his NBA debut, calling a time-out when there were not left, leaving no chance for the Bucks to force OT.

With a comfortable lead, the Bucks afforded to let some reserves enter the game like Korver and Chan, but the Raptors played a near-perfect fourth quarter. They shot 60% from the field, including 4/5 from deep and didn't commit a single turnover. They overcame a 9-point deficit to win by 4.

Brandon Jennings drove to the hoop and dunked the ball over Chris Bosh to tie the game with little over 20 seconds left, so the Raptors had the whole clock to use.

They overcame the Bucks pressure but didn't get a ghood look. Despite that Turkoglu hit a jumper over Korver with 0.8 on the clock. Rookie Chan quickly called a time-out, but there were none remaining, resulting in a technical foul and the Raptors possession. Jose Calderon calmly sank the freebie and the Raptors had won.

Michael Redd scored 30 points, all in the first three quarters. Brandon Jennings added 21 points and 9 assists on 9-16 shooting. Andrew Bogut had a big double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds with 4 blocks and Hakim Warrick added 16.

Turkoglu finished with 27 points on 9-14 shooting. Bargnani added 21 and Calderon and rookie Bobby Stokes had 17 and 16 respectively. Bosh was silent with 10 points and 11 rebounds on 4-15 shooting.

Bogut's defense was the biggest reason for Bosh's struggles.
