I replaced both with cedric simmons,he's not a star player or something like that so commentators won't be talking about his past or how good he plays and blah blah,looks like when steve kerr is playing they love talking about pietrus.Imma do like this,tomorrow I'll check my notes and see which players are replaced with stars and then will fix that problem,but I don't know if the cdf iff files will work,this time somehow the sendspace one worked but I don't understand how can it be if that was the same file uploaded on two sites.So before trying another cdf and iff file of portraits I suggest making a back up of working one.

i cannot spend time on this research anymore, as i have normal working day tomorrow, so i'll be out for most of the day.

and. i thought the community could benefit, if more cyberfaces are created. some of the players still have generic faces. i think maybe aloncho could share his works, as he had some very nice cyberfaces from his 91-92 mod. also, people could now concentrate on making faces for this project, as the headshots i posted in my thread are very useful as a source of making those faces. who's in?

I'm in it too, but I have done this already, the same as STOMP has done with me. I have sahred the faces that come in handy with 95-96 and the ones that I've made specifically. I would like to help with more faces but Drazen Petrovic, Craig Hodges, Gary Payton or Glen rice with flat-tops for example, simply aren't 1996. Some of the faces missing in this patch are also missing in mine, that's the way it is. Trust me, I don't like knowing there's a Danny Ferry face (yes I care about shit players faces too ) out there for the 2003 patch that simply I can't use...1. Because he's bald and 2. Because I can't find a face maker that will add hair to that face for me. All of that plus MGX has made a lot of effort in helping with his faces for my patch and I won't be releasing them individually as if they were 100% mine, simply because they're only to be released with the 1992 patch.

The other harsh reality is that people on this forum with the exception of us (how many are we? 10-15 people?) are not into retro 90's patches and face making other than MJ, Pippen or Barkley perhaps...

Other than that, good facemakers like clarkmylove/GH33/Tha King, etc. like to make, improve and tweak today's players and not retro players and we have to respect that, because it's they're choice.


So...I'm in, but it's going to be very hard to find people who actually want to make these faces. TRUTH.

curon butler, it is bugging the hell outta of me, is there anyways you can just replace the Jordan wizards
photos with the one you replace Butlers with please, i have tried changing someID and it dont work please if there is anyway you
can do that it would be greatly appreciated especially from all the other Jordan fans that are using this roster thx man please let us know

That will always happen in commentary...so don't worry about it. If the retro player has been created over some of today's superstars, say Caron Butler overwritten by MJ, the commentators will talk about Caron this, Caron that, despite saying Jordan most of the the time during a game. It happens to my 1992 patch also...When Sam Perkins goes to the line they talk about how Lamar Odom has accepted his role on the Lakers not to be the superstar but to be the 7th or 8th guy and team player that he is. That's because I replaced Odom for Sam Perkins.

And it doesn't have anything to do with someID or SomeID2...it is in the game's hardcore, in player's ID number, and that my friend we can't change (commentary) in overwritten players.

Ok so there are some not well known players who I can replace,when I for example change Barkley with Bosh they talk too much about how good he is top draft pick all that,but if I'll change to a worse player they won't talk so much.So if some of you will hear names of these days players while playing this mode tell here,just that first name last name thing,I wrote who replaces who so it won't be hard to find.I can change like 10-15 more players,other portraits are of nba 2k workers or something like that so I can't change them and then the cdf file has a lotta unassigned to the roster file portraits and all that.

just basically how to morph headshapes in blender to the pictures i see. i know how to move in blender and maneuver in it but trying to make the headshapes with background pics as the base is what i cant figure out. i may be wrong in this approach to making headshapes but if u wouldnt mind sharing your tips in making headshapes that would help me alot and ultimately the mods aloncho inbar and stomp got going here

did you mean you don't care about if the talk about them with other names as long as their game callname is correct? I'm already used to it in 1992 it's not that big of deal as long as their callname is correct...

ok bro i have just looked through every team for all left hander's im gunna post pics of them all the rest were right hander's, i also found 2 duplicates in Kato and couple missing cf's and white arms, so ill brb with the pics i just need to load them up on the server....

DEFJAM: If you could edit those names:
- Eddie Robinson (portland) -> Rumeal Robinson (i already fixed height, weight and ratings)
- Chris Jackson -> Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (don't do that in game, because it will mess all Chris's and Jackson's, so you have to basically create new entries in names bank and then assign)
- Bison Dele -> Brian Williams (that was his name back then)

Then I have no other things noted to fix in this roster. Of course, if Minnesota non-existent bums' Vincent Stackhouse, No-name Massenburg and Stack Clarence are replaced with real-life guys, like Eric Riley, Charles Smith (PG, while we have Charles Smith-PF in San Antonio) and Jerome Allen.

STOMP/DEFJAM: Could you please
- remove Chris Mihm (drafted way after 96) from this roster and replace it with Cleveland's starting center back then Michael Cage?
- remove Roy Rogers (played on 97 squad) from Vancouver's roster and replace it with their true starting PF - Anthony Avent?
- add goggles to Grant Long and Buck Williams. (I'm not sure if there were any other who wore goggles back then except for Horace Grant, Grant Long and Buck Williams)

I was thinking about making bobcats more to 96. Thus i selected players from 93~95 nba draft,who at least appeared in the league,some were role players.

Starters: c~zeljko rebraca, pf~anthony miller, sf~lou roe, sg~alphonso ford, pg~terrence rencher.

Bench: c~dragan tarlac, pf~lawrence funderburke, sf~martin lewis, sg~darnell mee, pg~b.j. Tyler.

As for final reserves,you may choose 1) big man : mike peplowski or david vaughn 2) guard : brooks thompson or frankie king.

Such team wouldn't make playoffs,but is full of players of that time.tell me what you think.
